2Checkout is a versatile payment gateway that is widely used by online service providers, software providers, and businesses selling digital products. One of the main use cases for this platform is integrating it into web applications to process payments for SaaS subscriptions. Users appreciate how 2Checkout solves the problem of accepting cross-border payments by offering multiple payment options to customers, including localized options. This feature is particularly valuable for businesses based in countries with limited payment gateway options. Despite some localized options being expensive for the vendor, users still find them feasible for providing a seamless payment experience. Another use case of 2Checkout is as a reliable solution for handling credit card payments and simplifying international transactions. The platform effectively handles multiple currencies and foreign taxes, making it suitable for businesses with customers in various countries. Additionally, users value the simplicity of 2Checkout's fraud detection process and the dedicated customer care provided by the platform. Implementing 2Checkout as a payment gateway is straightforward and secure, especially when integrated with popular platforms like WooCommerce. Overall, users find 2Checkout to be a valuable tool for managing subscriptions, processing payments, and facilitating smooth international transactions.

We are integrating 2Checkout [All-in-one Monetization Platform] as a payment gateway in our webapp.
  • Lots of options for checkout
  • Comprehensive admin panel
  • Integrating to 2Checkout API will crush your soul
  • You will feel lost in documentation
  • Crazy and lengthy approval system
  • It feels like they don't want you to use them
2Checkout [All-in-one Monetization Platform] is a good replacement for Stripe in countries where it is not available. It has good commissions, works in many countries. But it is a nightmare to integrate. If you can use Stripe, forget about 2Checkout [All-in-one Monetization Platform].
  • It allows for charging users
  • Checkout is nice and to the point
  • It delays everything with a lengthy approval process and crazy API to integrate with
PayPal, Stripe, PayU
It is surreal. Everything feels like they don't really want you to use them. I had to beg them to approve my account because of stupid approval questions. Example: give ONE url where payments will come from. (my payments will come from a page inside my webapp which means absolutely nothing to users who don't have a user in my webapp. I also have many URLs where the users can pay from)

Then their API is super complicated to use. I couldn't believe how complicated it is. It is not well explained in the documentation and you have to guess until you understand the underlying logic. I wouldn't use it if I Stripe was available in my country.
  • configuations in the panel are easy to use
  • API integration
  • approval process
