  • ransomware protection is second to none. so long as you patch vmware timely
  • backups and snapshot protection is amazing and easy to use and saves admin time and money
  • to get some advanced option which we would like the license model is way to expensive between standard and enterprise licensing. the featureset does not justify the price increase
  • integration to veeam for backups and restores is very easy and efficient

  • It reduces other licensing (Microsoft, Oracle, etc) cost while customer uses affinity rules.
  • Once the customer have a good setup, they are good to run the environment with minimum/no downtime.
  • In a cluster environment, a hardware failure doesn't impact the production environment. Guest remain powered-on.

  • Corrupted VMS can be redeployed fast (providing you backed them up!)
  • You can scale quickly if your business needs require it, saving you having to buy new hardware and waiting for that to be setup. So you can handle the extra load of data without having to turn customers away.
