Premium Solution at a Premium Price
Vyond is WAY better than VideoScribe (although, to be fair, it's also about six times more expensive)! It's much easier to work with and more versatile in terms of styles and what you can do with it. We used VideoScribe for a few years and then ditched it and went looking for a replacement tool. Another application was being used by another learning developer, but that was nixed by IT as not being secure enough. Vyond has given us both the functionality/assets we need and the security that makes IT happy.

Vyond turns amateurs into animators!
Vyond was far better than Animoto for creating animated graphics and characters. Vyond was also far more flexible than "doodle" software such as Doodly, which is very limited to "whiteboard" videos.

Easy to use, yet robust
When compared to Vidyard and Lumen5, all these tools do a great job of making it easy to create customized sales/marketing videos and demos. That being said, Vidyard and Lumen5 do not have the extensive animation capabilities that Vyond has. Vyond also has many more customization options and their support team was much quicker to respond in my experience. I am also just not a fan of Powtoon. It was much more expensive than Vyond yet it had fewer capabilities. For example, there were few to no custom options for character actions. You could also only edit one timeline at a time.

Vyond Review
Vyond is the best tool our company has used for creating animated explainer videos and social content. We have tried many other software solutions but Vyond offers the most options for animating characters, text, and scenes. Despite the lack of options for overall styles, it offers a consistent and professional video every time. Plus, Vyond it's constantly adding new templates to their already expanding library.

I started using Vyond back when it was Go Animate. It has been so long since I vetted other products, I can't remember who they were. I am so happy with Vyond that I don't bother to look elsewhere.

Increase creativity and polish for animated videos
I’ve used software like Powtoon before, and Vyond is so much easier to control. It’s great that you can control the motion paths and the timing of each action, other software doesn’t really have this, but this allows me to really time out the movements in my scenes more precisely. I use this most in the explainer videos I create when I have to precisely time actions wiih words.
Vyond also has an amazing prop library and character library to choose from. I really feel like it allows me to have more creative flexibility. The poses you can choose from are also extremely vast, especially compared to programs I have used before like Powtoon, which only has basic emotions, etc.

Easiest ROI conversation ever.
Before signing up with Go Animate (now Vyond) I also tested Pow Toons and My Simple Slide Show. My Simple Slide Show simply wasn't dynamic enough for my audience and I felt that it didn't provide anything I couldn't achieve through other tools I already possessed such as Articulate Storyline or even Power Point with just a little more effort. Pow Toons at the time was very similar to Go Animate, but many of the features were more intuitive and allowed me to more closely control the assets in my video. Vyond has now made several updates to this functionality and I imagine PowToons has as well, so I'm not sure how they would stack up now (2 years after my initial decision) but at the time it was a clear choice for me.

Create Interesting, Easy Animated Videos with Vyond
While most of the other platforms are there to help you publish your video, Vyond is more useful in creating the video. In this way, these tools can actually work together and our business uses all of them for different website and email marketing needs. Vyond takes our video creation "vyond" what we thought possible!
We looked at a lot of agencies and used agencies for this type of content in the past. The cost to make one video was as much as a yearly subscription to Vyond and sometimes even more. With Vyond, we can create as many videos as we like and all it takes is the time needed to create and finalize the video with resources we already have. I feel what we can get from Vyond, while maybe not equal to the custom animation and character creation we have gotten from agencies, is totally equal to the challenge and really does provide us everything we need.

GoAnimate Video Program Review
- BranchTrack
I can't say exactly which one I would recommend more, but the pros of BranchTrack are that they offer the ability to upload voicefiles which will automatically attach to each scene, saving A LOT of time. They're program is also very easy to move scenes around in and having the ability to reroute someone back to an earlier scene is nice. It also provides the user interaction vs. just watching a video. However, GoAnimate on the other hand allows you to customize background and scene layouts a little more than BranchTrack does. It's also better if you don't want the user interaction.
