The solution is very very easy to manage, currently in our company we have two employees certified in Watchguard MFA Authpoint and these two users are responsible for managing the application, new implementations or features and at the level of end-user support.

Authpoint is a lifesaver for the remote workforce

The solution is so easy to use that it required a minimum of training to deploy and support. Once it is deployed it pretty much need no supervision.

It would be best to be an Experienced IT Manager to support this product. With some training, most people with minimal IT knowledge could provide first-level support for the product too, such as if a device is lost or they need to activate a new mobile device token. Now that it is set up, there is not much to do.

Most of our IT staff is trained to support AuthPoint. Management of AuthPoint is not overly complicated and training is very fast. Most of our staff can be up to speed with general end-user support within a few minutes.

We have a couple people that have been working with watchguard for 7 years or more and 2 people that have only been working with watchguard for a couple months. the logging is easy to read so we can support our end users when they have issues.

For administrator setup there is very good documentation and excellent integration guides. We love this and are happy that it is constantly being expanded and improved. We send our users automatic emails with which we can send the invitations.

WatchGuard Authpoint: a great product with room to improve.
There are a few requirements to support AuthPoint. Through WatchGuard WGC all services are monitored and configured. Once implemented, management is controlled through AD group management so no senior-level techs are required.
