According to my manager, the product brings great value to the company cybersecurity-wise. The company gets audited by multiple regulators from different regions every year, and WatchGuard Authpoint settles all of their concerns regarding identity management. Not to mention the reduction on vendor management and cybersecurity insurance qualification.

Well you can always use solutions from 2 separate suppliers, but as it is obvious an joined / bundled solution has many advantages. You do not need to worry about compatibility issues, or make the extra effort to solve these issues. WatchGuard AuthPoint Total Identity Security just offers all you need without any intergration problems. Also having only one supplier to talk with makes things much easier!

We use AuthPoint primarily for 2fa and VPN access. We have also enabled it for users to have offsite connections to their RDP sessions on their assigned PC when a client inside the network is required. The ease of how AuthPoint is configured is a cost savings. Not using multiple authentication methods or configuring multiple applications is a time and costs savings.

You can save a lot of time but above all increase security by adopting this solution that include AuthPoint with multi factor authentication, a password manager where you can safely store important info and you can get notified when compromised credentials from monitored domains are found on the dark web and published.

The biggest value benefit is the soft affect of greater confidence staff have in mobile working and efficiency resulting form access to data they would have been restricted from. IT staff have almost no need to manage the Authpoint solution unless Staff lose their phones.The admin overhead is very low

We were with an Open Source VPN solution prior to using AuthPoint, so the price was much higher. However, the cost is worth the peace of mind it brings. I've been working with WatchGuard products for 15 years and have come to trust their offerings.
