I use a WatchGuard firewall to manage my incoming and outgoing internet and to manage our wireless access points.
  • Easy to manage.
  • Easy to monitor.
  • And keeps out the boogers.
  • Pass the tests.
  • I would like to see an app for my mobile phone to monitor my WatchGuard.
I think WatchGuard is well suited for any business small to large.

  • It's been very cost effective.
CDW
I do not like the unified management its a bit ugly
The cloud products work ok I really would like to keep all managment behind the firewall so I don't like the cloud managment
I worked with PCM/insight and they did an ok job. Probably would not use them in the future. I will use CDW from now on
It just makes things simpler. You have to a license for everything and they can not get the synced
I do like watchguard better then sonicwall

We currently use WatchGuard's Firebox for internal network traffic and mobile VPN for productivity applications. We also use the AuthPoint for wireless connections.
  • Ease to use
  • Affordable
  • Gret traffic visibility
  • Lower TCO
  • Integration of the entire product portfolio to technologies like Splunk. Some features of endpoint security are not integrated yet.
I think that WatchGuard's Security products fits well on SMB organizations, with reduced investments and those who also requires simple management and a wide features covering. When positioning it to companies who intend to acquire an "enterprise security" brand, We usually face problems to move ahead with customers.

The product replaced was based on Linux and the decision was to improve network security and traffic visibility also.

We were higly motivated to go onboard with the partnership and to demonstrate to customers that we would rely on product by our own.
We would probably to escalate the platform for something like an universal management.

Yes
Yes. The response time was ok in average.
We have recently faced a problem with a product sold to a customer, when the Firebox that would be replaced was about to expire (two days left), and the new one had to be fixed due to an system error. The WatchGuard Support helped us in an magnificent way, extending the olg Firebox licensing until the system's new one would be fixed.
Most of the time that We needed to reach WatchGuard support, our requests were shortly received and the first feedbacks were great.
  • The Dimension tool
  • The advanced security tools present in the Total Security subscription
  • The new visibility and report for user groups
  • MFA integration with apple devices
The Fireboxes management performs well in a web interface
The entire organization didn't face any trouble to integrate the technology into our workforce.
Applications errors should always be expected in any kind of technology. What matters most is the way you find to resolve it.
Compared to another platform (not NGFW native), WatchGuard's performance runs fine and do not slow down user browsing experience
  • Splunk
Internet link monitor
Security events monitoring
User activities monitoring (AD)
  • Proofpoint
  • Cyberark
