The WebEx app is a very good productivity tool, that integrates with a lot of services, like Microsoft office. It is really helpful when you work within an organization with a lot of colleagues you need to connect to and work within teams. Very good for holding training sessions, with the ability to record your sessions. WebEx teams will not run well on older hardware, things like 4 GB of RAM or even 8 GBS of ram will struggle to use the camera on your laptop for example.
Rarely that I have had issues with it and with what it integrates with.
Webex is very effective.

Webex App is the main form of communication companywide besides Outlook. Currently we are supporting over 43,000 Active users account on the platform (Webex Messaging, Webex Meeting and Calling in Webex through Call Manager). The product itself works as intended, with immense capabilities in collaboration during the pandemic, however we need to optimize out infrastructure to gain ll its benefits.

Webex App is well suited for remote collaboration in a large enterprise. Various departments host larger meetings to a diverse audience which Webex App makes easy but allows customization of event and registration forms. Webex App has had some buggy rollout that has hurt the brand in our environment, the ability to push out upgrades is great but not recommended. This leads to confusion and frustration when you want to protect your environment from bugs, but do not feel empowered to postpone updates.
As my company SME, I am asked to do the same wash and repeat steps of collecting logs, running tracer logs, and sending problem reports. Time and time again, we are met with little to no help as we scramble to figure things out on our end. to date, the majority if our TAC cases offered very miserable support. We tend to hold out until the last second to open a ticket, only after we have exhausted all open only to not have to deal with TAC.
I work with Webex App all day and it seems second nature at this point. With the help of the customer success manager and his accounts team, we are fully equipped to be proficient in the product. We have stood up an internal Sharepoint page and held multiple knowledge transfer sessions with the company's internal departments.

Can't really explain how grateful I am that I knew this app. This is professionally way better than any other communication tool. It's also cool that when you see a nearby video device, you can choose to connect to it and join a meeting from that device if you want to. This is so awesome!

I've never really had a bad experience on this app which is good. The user interface is very engaging, very adaptive. It's like the cooler version compared to any other video conferencing tools I've had before. You can use it anytime and anywhere you want. It may seem that other tools can do it too but I like using this one more.
I've once got a problem when I first used the app and it's more about troubleshooting. That was an hour before a meeting and I panicked. Good thing they have this troubleshooting tip on the article they got so I went in there before contacting them. Followed step-by-step procedure based on the article and it worked. They have a very detailed article that really helped me.
Because almost all the features they have on this tool are really helpful. That's definitely a plus for me. I don't need to use two or three tools to cover it all because I have it all in one app and it's in here. So glad to still use the Webex App.

We use Webex for collaborating both internally and externally with our vendors, CROs, and partners in clinical trials. It also helps us gather globally during large e-summit or investigator meetings. We are able to share w the whiteboard, take minutes, record meetings, and chat live to make it an interactive session. A lot of our internal trainings are also held on Webex. The app is also very useful and user-friendly especially when I am away on business travel and can log in to a meeting from anywhere using my cellphone. Sometimes there can be connectivity issues and the app will drop me out of the meeting spontaneously. This can be troublesome and can affect productivity. I wish there was a fix for this bug.

It is a great platform for global meetings, interactive sessions, training for GCP and FDA-related material, training attendance. Large panels with different countries and functional areas, a whiteboard to have an interactive session, recorded meetings to refer back to when needed. Can work on a document together. Can also effectively work from anywhere using the app via wifi such as while traveling in a flight for a business purpose.
The support is great but can take time to respond back. I would like to have immediate assistance especially if a critical meeting is happening, we cannot afford to wait for an issue to be fixed. The length of time can be long sometimes but otherwise, I have not experienced any difficulty with support and have really enjoyed using Webex.
It is very user-friendly and extremely useful for all clinical training, document review, and meetings whether internally or externally.

While Webex doesn't make our list of the best conference call services available on the market, it's still a good platform—especially for the enterprise. It's strong in multiple use cases, from conferences and lives webinars to IT support and presentations with slides and video. The interface is very user-friendly.
Based on consumer feedback, Zoom is more user-friendly as compared to Webex. Zoom allows users to instantly join an online video conference or meeting, with common features across all devices. ... Less suited to informal situations like social media live sessions were emojis, filters, Tiktok like engagement. Not really compatible with the teen market. Not suitable for holographic/VR environment requirements.
Technical support speaks good English and it's easier to communicate with a native speaker during high-stress periods where outages mean loss of revenue. The North American approach is transparent and easy to understand where there is more open communication which facilitates faster resolution. The customer is also able to understand easier what [actually] caused the issue and learns from the interaction from Cisco support.
It is easy and quick to install and is compatible with different PC hardware and Operation Systems. It works reliably with minimum glitches with good volume levels. It facilitates interactive sessions. It is easy to learn for first-time users. Easy to set up on the fly on new devices. The support for it is widespread - you can google any issues and easily find a solution for any glitches. It handles drops well so it is not overly apparent to the end-user. Cisco Webex is also dynamic and is continually updated to keep pace with the latest changes in the market so your presentation does not look dated or cheugy.

Webex supports virtual meetings, consulting, support, outreach, and other engagement at our institution. Throughout the pandemic, Webex provided a critical tool to replace face to face meetings with its virtual platform on desktop and mobile applications, allowing staff to hold meetings for small groups, 1:1 conferences, large scale events, team building exercises, committee engagement, responding to help desk tickets, and more. Webex also allowed our team to maintain critical connections from home using asynchronous methods.

Webex is well suited for small meetings (1:1, under 10 participants) or for asynchronous engagement. While its user reaction tools are very snazzy and Webex has very helpful live captioning tools, it is not well suited for teaching and learning or training as its polling function is extremely clunky. Webex has been helpful for personal meetings, team catch-up, team building, committee meetings, and similar types of virtual engagement.
While Webex App provides an online knowledge base, it is cumbersome to navigate to find helpful resources that are accurate and relevant to one's needs. Support can occasionally be frustrating as staff shift your request from department to department if they don't know how to handle an issue, particularly if it's outside normal "how do I do this?" type of question.
Webex App provides decent web conferencing functionality for both real-time and asynchronous engagement. It allows my team to interact and connect on a consistent basis, which is critical during day to day operations. It can be clunky at times compared to other web conferencing tools, but serves a critical purpose during and after the pandemic to support business operations.

We do online support so it helps to be able to view and interact with other clients when they have an issue. Also recording the calls to discuss and review the issues we investigate helps tremendously. We also can interactively update and fix some of the issues encountered directly on the call. The possibility of sharing the recording for training also proves to be extremely beneficial[.]

Webex is a perfect tool for remote assisting and supporting our clients. The video option allows us to share with [higher-level] engineering or specialist where needed. We can also do our training sessions interactively when we are constrained to working from home. The Webex app as a basic messaging tool and for document collaboration also helps to make short work of projects.
I have generally never had issues with using Webex and on the rare occasion that the need occurred for support eg with some sound equipment there has been a very quick turnaround. Also[,] the knowledge base that [exists] for Webex issues generally has an answer to the issues encountered, and therefore very little else is required to resolve the matters.
It generally lives up to my expectation. As mentioned there are sometimes [issues with] sound but generally easily resolved. The chat app is fairly flexible and [its] use is intuitive and makes for easy means of assisting and assessing customer issues. The fact it is so widely used makes it easier to handle and [deal] with customers that [have high-security] considerations.

Our company does 90% of its business online.
  • It is very easy to share content during meetings which makes it really easy for us to hold presentations and workshops with our clients.
  • Unlike other communication apps, Webex App uses minimum data, which makes meetings more efficient because we have fewer participants suffering disconnection. Especially since now a lot of people work from home, not everyone has an optimal internet speed.
  • The quality of the video and audio are very good.
  • The free version only allows for meetings up to 50 minutes.
  • The price could be less premium to allow for more people to subscribe.
  • The Webex App outlook plugin could be more user friendly.
In my opinion, the Webex App is well suited for meetings where file-sharing is a big part of the meetings: presentations, workshops, executive updates, etc... We personally use it for all of these scenarios. So far we have not encountered a scenario where Webex App does not perform as required. But I believe that if you are going to be having a small 1:1 meeting throughout the day with your colleagues or classmates, then because of the price tag on it, Webex might not be the best option. It is going to depend a lot on your specific needs, how many people will be joining your meetings, and your budget.
The Webex App is overall very user friendly, easy to share and schedule meetings, easy to share content during the meetings as well.

We have used Webex App for the process of the Western Balkan Digital Summit in November 2020. It has been a great experience working with the Webex App because we could try every invitation link we had sent to our participants and see if it worked, how it looked etc. It helped us see the meetings in the Summit in real-time.
  • It makes you stay connected in real time in a meeting.
  • It works really well while someone is presenting.
  • It is easily installed.
  • I would like to make a hint button if you can't listen because I don't understand it in iPhone if it is in speaker mode.
I think the Webex App is really suited if you have to listen in a meeting, or you have to follow a meeting full time whenever you are but it is less appropriate if you want to present in a meeting, and you are moving around at least you should stay in the same place so the video quality is better.
The overall support for Webex App is really good, really fast, really useful. You have 24/7 support if you have any problem with Webex App. It can be used anywhere and can be easily accessed. It can help organizations have fruitful meetings without interruption anywhere they have to move while living.
Well I have found myself in a very important project like Western Balkans Digital Summit and I had to carefully check if everything was alright, if everything went well with the summit and also while physically working with the summit I could view everything that was virtual. So I would recommend it 10/10.

Cerium Networks utilizes Webex App as our primary messaging, meeting, and telephony application. It is being utilized by the entire organization on a global scale and provides for a consolidation of multiple "point products" that end up creating end-user application strain. Probably most impactful is our ability to interface with Microsoft's O365 productivity suite for document and project co-authoring. The ability to incorporate an entire team into a conversation removes a myriad of monolithic communication chains which would otherwise slow down our internal processes and our ability to provide services to our clientele.

  • Would like to see an ordered list (based upon preference) for peripheral devices such as headsets, mics, and cameras. Application should select the most preferred peripheral based upon top-down order when available.
Webex App is well suited when entire groups of people participate on the same platform. Due to current interoperability challenges between manufacturers, communication between platforms can be less than stellar or expensive to facilitate. Webex App is extremely well suited to organizations across multiple industry verticals, such as finance, healthcare, education, manufacturing, as well as governmental organizations at all levels.
Cisco and Webex's technical support is far and above the best I have experienced in the industry. However, with any technical support organization, there is always more to be desired. Cisco has, over the years, dramatically improved the support associated with the newer SaaS offerings, which is positive.
The application is highly inclusive and continuing to incorporate innovation at an extremely rapid pace.

I use Webex app to connect our clients in the USA and Europe. I have a great experience with Webex app whether it is a conference call or screen sharing session Webex never disappoints me. I have attended many sessions on my phone to provide consultation to clients and find this product very user-friendly and smooth.

We are currenlty using webex to support our company wide and cross domain communications. All the web seminars and the local team collaborations are been conducted on webex. It is also used by the HR team during interviews with external candidate.Apart from all these , the main power of webex shines during large scale confrence calls

With the Covid-19 pandemic, most of the meetings, trainings, and conferences had to be organized and held virtually. So, it required a common platform to have the conference/meetings with different people from different companies, almost from outside of the organization. When it comes to having the same access for attendees from outside organizations with more security, Webex App has helped a lot.

  • The interface of the application needs to be improved. The most information is hard to find
  • It would be great if they had a directory that you could consult for the meeting dial-in numbers
  • More control options can be added for the organizer to control, and accept those controls when inviting the attendees in advance
Although there are some specific disadvantages of Webex app, the options they have given, are within the one of the best meeting apps compared to others. So, it is fair to recommend Webex to use to schedule meetings, conferences and inter-organizational calls. While MS Teams is more suitable for inter-organization meetings, Webex is more suitable for every other meetings.
We can get support from the Webex user Community page more easily, without any cost of standard or premium support. More topics and problems are addressed there, so most of the problems can be analyzed and resolved with the posts of the community page. I have not used the Webex/Cisco standard or premium support so, far, so no understanding of the quality.
Whenever you use a web app, your experience is dependent on the speed of your network. Since you can’t always control your network speed, Webex is working to help you have the best possible experience regardless of network conditions. The Webex Meetings Web App for Safari is now supporting multiple resolutions, which also brings feature parity with Firefox and Chrome.

In my organization Webex App is a powerful collaboration tool that we use for meetings, messaging and even calls between Webex users of [different] companies. It allows us to know the availability of a person, start a meeting using the personal room itself, share a screen, take control of the other user's screen, and even integrate the app with other compatible Webex devices for a better experience.

  • It allows to create work groups of different organizations and that these spaces are perpetual for collaboration.
  • It allows integrating the Webex platform with other externally developed applications through APIs, thereby enhancing the use of the application.

I strongly recommend the use of Webex App for the features I don't [find] in other similar applications. The external noise cancellation works perfectly, which allows fluid communication between people who are in different work environments. This [feature] works very well regardless of the device from which you are connected, whether it be from a laptop or a smartphone.
Cisco provides confidence and security regarding the level of attention and escalation SLA in case of failures. It can be noted that the entire platform is managed from a single centralized application called Webex Control Hub, which is intuitive. [It] allows you to configure, customize and apply the different policies determined by the company to the different profiles of the end-users.
Webex App's fairly intuitive platform allows consolidation of meetings, calls and messaging functionalities into a single application. Devices such as Android or IOS are perfectly synchronized with Webex App. This facilitates the use of the tool from any device for different users.

In my current firm, I am using Webex for video conferencing when we want to connect to a large group audience. The ability to provide seamless audio-video connectivity is one of the main reasons why we have opted for Webex. Both the desktop and app versions are very stable and easy to use.
  • Large audience video conferencing.
  • On-call screen sharing.
  • Minimal audio interference and video lags.
  • The network lag can be improved.
  • Call drops frequency can be improved.
  • The mobile app crashes sometimes when connecting on a call with a very large audience. This can be improved.
As per my experience, the best scenario where WebEx shines is when we have a very large audience on audio-video conference calls. The stability it provides is unmatched. On the other hand, places where WebEx lags in when having a call among a small group. The reason is the complex setup and unfriendly UI. Other apps like Skype, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet do better here.
There is ample document and support available ok the website and community blogs. There are also many video resources to help start with this app.
The Webex App is super easy to use and there are ample documentations and help forum to guide through the process of adapting this app.. amazing!!

I use Webex in scheduling meetings, Video conferences, audio calls, and file-sharing as well. I use Webex to communicate with different vendors outside of my work organization such as our IT partners. I have integrated Webex with Slack so it is easier for me to get notifications about my meetings schedules for the whole day even upcoming days. I have also installed Webex app on my phone and it helps me to track all the meeting-related activities.
  • Slack integration is really great with this app.
  • iOS app works great to keep an eye on important meetings and schedules.
  • Integration with outlook is great for setting up conferences.
  • File sharing is seamless with the application.
  • Could be an opportunity to integrate Microsoft products such as word or excel?
  • Could be a stand-alone messenger as well that integrates with the Webex App to keep everything in sync and in one place.
Webex App is well suited for various scenarios, most important in meeting scheduling and setting up conferences and calls. Webex app, especially on phone, is amazing, I can keep track and attend my meetings on the go even on video. The app never gives me any issue at all. It is well suited to have working sessions with different team members and helps in collaboration when working on a project together. Highlighting and whiteboard features are great to work together in sessions for projects and troubleshooting the issues with dev partners.
Always had great services from the vendor side, never had complaints about anything about this application.
it is very easy with a super simple user interface and easy navigation for different options, it is amazing both on laptops and on mobile devices.

We use the Webex app for video meetings with students to conduct online lectures. Also, we use the Webex app for video calling. This is a very secure app and easy to use. The video quality is also very good with the Webex app. There are many options and controls given to the host of the meeting.

Webex is well suited for video meetings and conferencing in a secure mode. It provides more flexibility and controls to the host of the meeting. The video quality is also very good with Webex. Scheduling meetings in Webex is very easy and a nontechnical person can also use it very easily.
The support team of Webex addresses the issue properly and quickly. This makes us very comfortable using Webex for high-priority meetings. There are very few times we observe any issues with Webex. But, as and when generated, it gets solved very quickly. This made us recommend Webex to other organizations.
Overall usability of Webex is really good and it meet our expectations.
It is very user friendly. The support for Webex is very good. Webex is cost effective App in comparison with its peer. We highly recommend to use Webex for secure and easy video conferencing and communication with students and staff.

We use Webex for virtual meetings, it helps our remote team come together for projects and meetings. Since we all are working remotely it is easy to schedule meetings and share screens. I have found myself becoming more productive with Webex

It is used for communication and collaboration, as a lead engineer and scrum manager, I need to keep track of projects using Jira and communicate with other stakeholders.

Webex is used for external [meetings] with Attorney clients/External customer engineers to discuss patents/product issues etc. It provides seamless access connectivity, really like the simple interface and haven't faced any connectivity issues so far.

First of all, [it's] easy to use and support both private and public conversation, used within the organization, all employee have access using a common [platform]. And many more things [benefits] we have by using this app. Thanks to the developers who built this app.
  • [It's] used for business purposes and supports agility. Provide flexibility like sharing desk screen without credentials hardels, support instant chat, P2P and P2M [conferencing] with supports of recording features. [It's totally secure] and supports VPN connectivity, And much more.
  • Once the message is not delivered you have to write it down again so this should be automatic,
  • Should be supportive of voice messages.
A secured and common [platform] to receive unicast and multicast messages, videos, invites, and documentations.
As [it's] not only an app [it's] more than that, cause of its uniqueness of functionality, however, improvements can make it more up to the mark. I [personally] like it and enjoy [using] it because of its GUI's look and feel.
Cause of its user-friendly GUI and bone support. Cause [it's totally] in our control to use it. [It's] flexible.

We at our business unit use Webex App as our main communications and collaboration tool for internal and external communication. We are all members of several spaces and have created several on our own to provide a platform for our partner incentives we run from time to time. With direct calls you can easily turn into a meeting, the Webex App replaced our telephony structure when it comes to internal calls.

It's easy to start immediate meetings even with several participants. When using advanced branding settings in Control Hub, it'd be cool if dark mode was still available and if there was a preview, especially when it comes to custom colors. As we work at the desk most of the time, many colleagues like to have the option of dark mode, as it feels more comfortable for their eyes.
As we haven't needed the support that much, I can't rate it very good or very bad. What we've experienced so far was pretty okay.

We use it for one on one communication, internal team communication/Spaces and collaboration, communication with Cisco and other partners, persistent chat, Webex Meetings, and internal calling. It is our go-to application for communication that used to take place in Jabber/IM/Text, email, and phone. It is so easy to be able to reach out to someone by IM, escalate to a live voice conversation, and then to a full WebEx when needed, without having to leave the application.

  • Haven't used the Apps integration yet, not familiar with it yet.
The WebEx app is a great tool for any organization that has a lot of communication and collaboration internally or with external partners and uses WebEx for meetings. It is great for one-to-one or group collaboration, from persistent chat to full meeting experience. Many of us reach out to one another here instead of email. We call each other instead of cell phones. And we use it as a space to have team collaboration with Cisco and other business partners. It is a great fit for SMB through Fortune 100. Unless you don't have a need to communicate with others, it is a great business tool.
I have not had to personally reach out to Cisco/Webex Support for the app, but several customers have for different reasons and have always received top-level support from Cisco.
Intuitive and easy to jump in and use without much training at all. Easy to become proficient quickly.
