Cisco Webex Review.
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Pros
- Chat, voice and video calls, file exchange.
- Convenient creation of teams, project rooms and special-purpose rooms and teams.
- Integration and support of physical devices such as telephones and video terminals.
- Creating chat threads, forwarding messages, referencing messages, and searching
- Central definition of security policies for the entire organization and end-to-end encryption.
Cons
- I miss integration with some products offered by the competition, such as Wazuh or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Sometimes, when you paste the URL, editing it is problematic, and you have to delete the message and create it again.
- A function that knows better what I want to write or how to format, but it can be turned off, and I have it turned off. It really irritated me at first.
- I miss the chat clearing function; sometimes you have a confidential conversation, and it would be nice to delete everything, specifying, e.g., the date from when, instead of deleting each subsequent message.
Return on Investment
- Faster ability to determine who should do what or what needs to be done, including specifying details.
- Easier work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Easy and quick option to establish a voice and video meeting.
- An easy and secure way to exchange files.
