All software we use must allow to use SSO, this is our first step towards securing our tech platform. Since our IT use some or most of Cisco equipment in the back end I'd assume other layers of security is addressed. In terms of interoperability, ̇Webex OneDrive integration exists and also other collaboration tools work as expected in parallel. The participant management & settings are most adjustable in Webex than any other in this league.

Cisco Webex App was the most easy to use, to set up meetings and control who is in the meeting, who wants to get access and those who will present or share content. I've also worked with MSFT Teams during pandemic, but Webex App has a user interface more intuitive than MSFT Teams. The old productive tools that integrates Webex Meetings with MSFT Outlook was really easy to setup, to schedule and start meetings directly form Outlook clients, but the way Webex App let the files, content and everything else in a permanently way in the spaces and the fully integration with my callendar starting meetings not only in Webex App but also in other meetings apps, makes me move totally to work in Webex App to colaborate with my peers.

The app truly addresses our security needs, from making sure what's being shared is only visible to people admitted in the meeting room or directly invited. I particularly find helpful that only one person is assigned as the host, or selected people are, but not everybody can un-mute, share screen, admit people in the room, etc. I find it helpful to have the ability to accept or reject people from the room, or having a beeping sound when a person joins/drops the call.

If you have any doubts regarding safety, you can find a lot of documents, being Cisco's docs or 3rd party docs, explaining how your product, platform or service is secured.

If you want, you can audit each component and you'll find out that, if any caveat found, you'll get a solid response from Cisco to fix it.

One of the most important things in my role is having partner meetings. Whether this is with or without webcam, it's important to have recurring meetings. I find that Webex teams unfortunately does not scale well with larger meetings and there's always that 'embarrassment' when the product doesn't work well. I've moved all of my meetings to either MS teams or Zoom.

I am satisfied with all that Webex App offers us in terms of automating everything concerning interoperability, security as well as the management of all the parameters concerning the participants or even the organizers. An example of a feature that I like in a collaborative environment is the possibility of taking over the role of a meeting organizer simply by using a code sent by the organizer who creates the meeting. The ability to create a password to strengthen security is a nice feature too. Since WebEx is a cloud platform, it ensures the high availability of the environment.

Having sensitive data constantly flowing through a company is a very hard thing to manage. With Webex, knowing that the chat logs are encrypted helps us tremendously, especially from an auditing standpoint. For what we use it for day to day including chat, meetings, recordings and file sharing I am very confident using Webex knowing that the information is safe
