The main organizational challenges that my company faced as we planned or implemented hybrid work was the ability to find a collaboration solution that was an all-in-one solution. With the Webex App, we can combine chat, calling, meetings, collaboration, and more, all in one location. There is no need to switch between multiple apps with Webex App.

Adoption: Some people are used to using other applications. Other users wanted to use only their cell phones.

Interoperability: Calling from Webex Rooms to Zoom or Teams rooms had missing features and provided some challenges for a good conference meeting. Seeing only initials, inability to share...

Yes we had hybrid work set up and I would say that Cisco has a better offer in terms of virtual setup I might say it is not the best but it meets the expectations of the user or end user. teams can collaborate in real-time, irrespective of geographical location. This can lead to improved collaboration, knowledge sharing, and faster decision-making.

Secured access for users from both in office and out of office. An app that is reliable and able to handle dynamic traffic load and having presence all over the world. Support system should good and timely resolution should be available. Customization as per organization needs to cater all types of users and use cases.

User adoption and knowledge of the applications and hardware were the biggest challenges. Creating the back end accounts to enable use of a soft phone, getting the software installed and shipping headsets were a challenge as well. For users that needed a physical device we had to walk them through plugging the device in and getting it registered. A lot of time the end users didn't have POE available or they didn't have an ethernet port because they were using the ISP provided router.

The main organizational challenge was really ramping up our virtual meetings. Users like myself went from only 1-2 hour of meetings a day, to 5-6 hours of meetings a day to keep collaboration work. We started scheduling more reoccurring meetings and checkins with teams and Webex App was much more heavily used.

Some of the laptops of staff working from home could not properly authenticate after anyconnet was implemented. Some security exceptions had to be granted before they could work. But that was resolved with the latest upgrade

Hybrid work was important duing pandemic times and was definitivelly a challenge for organizational culture.Organizations need to create a culture that is supportive of both in-office and remote employees. This may involve things like creating clear expectations, providing training and support, and fostering a sense of community. Overall, Cisco Webex app is a valuable tool for organizations that are planning or implementing hybrid work.

One of the most difficult challenges that we have to faced, was to transmit the culture of use the remote tools to our employees, some of them used to prefer the face to face meetings, at the beginnig was a little difficult to change from that to the new kind of virtual meetings.

Finding the right tools quickly was a challenge as we needed to be operational as soon as possible. We were testing several products in parallel and had very tight deadlines to provide feedback to make purchasing decisions. With more time we may have been able to find products that integrated better with each other and had features sets more suited to our work environment.

the problem was scale. how to quickly get everyone offboarded to remote work simultaneously. Webex was used from time to time during this transition, but as previously described, is behind Teams and Zoom in our conference-software roster.

1. Get secure access outside company perimeter.
2. Reinforce a secure posture of mobile workers while access company assets
3. Integrate telephony resources with other productivity tools as MSFT Teams
Those are the 3 main points to deal with, not leaving all other legacy integrations aspects behind, of course. The decision of what the right architecture to support our business, the way the calls are distributed and handled by teams and how the keep the same experience for users using MSFT Teams when integrated with Webex Calling were points of we keep in mind in every step we took into the implementation of hybrid work in the company.

Being in Wyoming and as rural as we are, we don't have a lot of Cell coverage, so we have to connect while we can when we have coverage. Our Field Techs have always worked remote and we use Cisco products to collaborate, stay connected and secure when we have coverage.
