Our IT team takes care of all infrastructure and collaboration tools with voice, security and networks infrastructure skills. As our culture, the company promotes basic education to IT team into those 3 main pilars, and let the professional choose the architecture to deep dive after that. As Webex App is very easy to manage due to Control Hub single pane of glass, that represents very low work on support on a daily basis.

The types of people or skills required to support Cisco Webex Teams?... let's see here... The people (like myself) that love to put the tools for collaboration in the hands of users! The skills?... As long as your willing to learn anyone can learn how to support Cisco Webex Teams!

We don't have in-house support for Cisco Webex Teams.
We do have our IT department for first use cases, but we usually don't need any support for daily usage of Webex Teams.
It's really easy to use and very self explained, being the interface itself or maybe the first-use wizard once you upgrade to a version having any significant changes.

Not sure how many internal technical resources support our WebEx environment. We do have engineers with access to Control Hub to maintain our company WebEx account and provide support for users.

Jabber is supported by our entire Help Desk, though primarily calls regarding Jabber are handled by our second-level support. They install and support the software and call functionality, as well as handle the provisioning and de-provisioning of all Jabber devices. We also have an internal phone team that handles engineering level and backend support.

Technically we do not have anyone to support WebEx. We not not have any accounts set-up for WebEx. Even though we do not have any accounts set-up for WebEx. We utilize web ex and have IT staff who support our staff in utilizing WebEx on an on going basis which helps with use.

The Feature to keep the backup the messages automatically is lacking here. You have to manually store the messages if you have to store. It will not automatically store. If you forget then the whole message history is gone. Also in Group chat we can't make a group call. Only we can share screen in the Group.

There are really no certain skillsets required for jabber. The people in our agency that use it have all sorts of skills. There are business analysts, directors, support specialists, developers, database administrators, etc. Jabber is simply very easy to use. If you can type, you can use jabber. You don't have to utilize advanced features to use it.
