Zoom is also a group product that offers different applications and is effective in its own term but recently or in the past there have been certain security concerns with Zoom so my personal choice is that I go with WebEx from the security standpoint.

All calls made through Webex are end-to-end encrypted, making them reliable and secure. Excels at merging meetings, team communications, call centers, and secure cloud calling. The technique works very well for internal video calls.

Webex calling has a better price and because our company is a Cisco partner we had some incentives. tests were also carried out by some end-users who evaluated the platforms and among all the webex won in terms of usability.

  • NICE CXone (formerly NICE inContact)
I find this product to be very easily deployed as well as configured. With this platform, it does not really matter from where you are using it be it home or office or any meeting room this platform just seamlessly integrates into your company. Moreover, the user interface is also very simple and clean which mitigates all types of discrepancies to a great extent. Webex Calling is a more reliable platform than all other alternatives. There were so many additions of voice calls, events, messaging, and polling capabilities in this platform that we could not resist using this platform. Also, the other platforms became slightly picky and it became hard for me and my company to keep up with them so this tool just landed as a lifesaver.

Webex Calling, Zoom, and BlueJeans are all pretty similar in terms of capabilities. I think it just comes down to preference. I haven't had any problems with any of the platforms I've used for communication purposes. There hasn't been anything in particular that sticks out in a good or a bad way. I'm just more comfortable with Zoom and BlueJeans.

In terms of pricing the competition is better. But overall the ease of access and the return of investment we obtained from Webex Calling far outweighs the higher pricing. Also, the seamless integration is a big plus as well. Video calling and screen sharing capabilities are also better than the competition. Overall, considering all these benefits we opted for Webex Calling over the competition.

Webex Calling gives a much fuller experience due to the coverage across so many of the areas within Collaboration. Webex manages to bring together many tools into one toolbox, providing a fully immersive experience for the customer which I have yet to see from any of the competitors playing in the same market.

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager)
Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) does provide more flexibility in design, but is also more difficult than Webex Calling to configure to meet the requirements of the Ray Baum Act where there are multiple locations. CUCM also requires periodic updates, including security updates, periodic replacement of hardware and maintenance and support contracts. Webex Calling (including Webex Teams and Webex Meetings) requires significantly less work to implement and maintain than does the equivalent on-premise solutions.
