WebPT User Review: the good and the not so good
- Quickly flows into Therabill which allows for faster billing
- Thoroughness of documentation makes submitting to insurance companies easier
- There are cheaper platforms out there but I am not familiar enough with them. This was quick to learn and implement which makes overall workflow easier to manage
WebPT: the worst choice for a small clinic
- In my experience, lost thousands of dollars on claims that WebPT mishandled
- In my experience, increased front office hours as we had to tell WebPT staff how to read EOBs correctly, ask them to fix mistakes they had made

WebPT Experience
- When the company transitioned to a 3rd party biller, we were required to change our EMR system. This would allow the 3rd party biller's database to work with WebPT so I guess it was a system the biller was more comfortable working with/set-up for to allow them to bill.
- WebPT definitely helped us become more electronically efficient and less paper-dependent.
- This cloud-based system allowed most of our therapists to be able to work from home in regards to finishing up their notes, checking tasks, reviewing treatment plans, and responding to messages. Prior to WebPT, the therapists needed a special set up to be able to access our old database, hence most had to stay at the office to complete their work whereas now, they can work/access WebPT at any time of the day or night and on the weekends without having to come into the office. It has improved that work-life balance for many!
