I have to say that, based on price and the wealth of features, Webroot Endpoint Protection is particularly effective/efficient for SMBs. It has the features you'd expect from pricier software and is easy to deploy and maintain. Webroot Endpoint Protection is intuitive (interface) and presents a very shallow learning curve. Its phishing protection alone is worth the price.

Webroot Endpoint Protection is better than Windows defender, and some other EP products. Webroot seems to be integrated with a few RMM solutions, so that be a tipping point to choose Webroot for the benefits there. However, I found there to be other products that do a better job of detecting malware. Also, in these days, EDR is the product you should have, not an EP product.

Webroot Endpoint Protection is well suited for smaller organizations. It does not require a large team of IT professionals to manage. It is very nice knowing that the organization has blanket protection and thus upholding a professional reputation. Being able to see installed devices and status is certainly a plus. I cannot express enough how lightweight this solution is on computer resources.

Webroot is the best option I have seen for the type of environment we have. The other options are either too expensive, too resource intensive, don't have enough features or are wayyyy too expensive. Webroot fits nicely in the middle of all of those requirements and has remained stable for years.

The software tends to do a good job of basic protection but is not the best for larger clients and is not as powerful as some others offered on the market today. The support is not the best either, have had a hard time getting assistance in the past trying to resolve issues.

Webroot is not the highest rated solution but does the job for us as a smaller organization at a reasonable price point that does not require an expert or MSP to assist in the set-up.

For a just a handful of users, Webroot Business Endpoint Protection would not be ideal. If you have multiple endpoints and or multiple clients, it is ideal. It is a cost-effective, reliable solution that requires little management.

I have only used Endpoint Protection in small to medium businesses and for residential home users. I have not had any experience with larger corporations. Thus far, my experience has been a positive one. Their tech support, which I have called upon several times, has been quite efficient in solving my issue.

We have a fair number of non-tech-savvy employees, who might visit dangerous websites or fall victim to phishing scams through e-mail. Most of these employees aren't yet able to discern the difference between legitimate communications and threats, so we had to put in place a very robust tool for screening malware. Webroot Endpoint Protection is generally very aggressive and helps those less-experienced computer users avoid Internet security issues. Still, those same aggressive settings sometimes get in the way of accessing legitimate sites and documents, resulting in some frustration from employees who are more familiar with self-screening methods.

I feel that Webroot Endpoint Protection is well suited for any environment requiring a trustworthy and efficient antivirus solution. It doesn't have any downsides I have seen if a small business wanted to use it versus a large enterprise. The management can cope with managing a large number of Agent and Sites, so I feel it could scale well for any size business. It's the best antivirus option I've used over the year, and I would recommend it highly to anyone, and even for personal use.

Webroot Endpoint Protection is well suited for large organizations where you want to provide different protection policies to various department groups. Via the web portal, Webroot Endpoint Protection gives the admin the needed feature functions to create these groups and policies.

The payment methods allow for a monthly subscription deployment for recurring revenue which is a great business model with a great product.

As far as where it is less appropriate; devices that have closed operating system environments such as chrome books, embedded operating systems, and I don't like the cell phone version.

Webroot Business Endpoint Protection really does not have an area where it would not be used. We use it to provide a solid AV and email filtering service to our clients that is non-evasive, and gets the job done. It is easily deployable by our other software, Kaseya, which is a huge help.

Well suited through Kaseya because of the extra value from the integration as well as the ability to deploy alongside any other antivirus without issue, allowing you to uninstall the old antivirus at your leisure. Under 2 MG is the size and if you also want ransomware protection to go along with the AV protection from one solution.
