What is WebWave?

WebWave — an alternative for agencies and freelancers for creating custom websites for clients with the support of CMS.

Using CMS with no sacrifices
WebWave is a CMS platform that gives a designer precision up to 1 px in every single detail just like in more sophisticated graphic programs such as Photoshop while remaining a drag and drop software. This is to make creating websites much faster without loosing on details.

Spend less time talking
WebWave also helps users to communicate with clients. Instead explaining how things work, the user can show clients an already working website, so they learn about it through their own experience.

Improve collaboration
Users can work on a website with clients using many accounts. For that, first chooses which elements can be edited so a customer won't mess up the design. It's also helpful for beginners who need help from design mentors.

Enhance branding
Users can turn on the white label option so clients will only the brand's logo, and every time a customer signs in they get to see the user's own brand mark. Creating projects independently (with no coding) with the help of a structure helps users grow faster as a web designer.

Well suited:
Small businesses and entrepreneurs: WebWave is an excellent option for small businesses and entrepreneurs who need a professional-looking website without spending a lot of time and money. It's easy to use, customizable, and offers fast load times and responsive design.

Less appropriate:
Large e-commerce websites: If you're looking to create a large e-commerce website with a vast number of products and advanced features, WebWave may not be the best option. Its e-commerce functionality is limited compared to other website builders, and it may not be able to accommodate the needs of a large-scale online store.

Also, if you need much coding, you would rather have it with something that is wordpress-based.

If you run a company website that needs a simple ecommerce store (simple does not mean ugly or just for 10 products) it should be your first choice. Even if you have no idea about HTML coding or ecommerce workflows. It will fit to your needs. So 95% of companies should use this instead of WP or Wix.
But if you need a complicated website, that need an API "hard-coded" integration, especially with external systems - I would prefer Wordpress/Joomla.

The WYSIWYG web builder marketspace is saturated, but there are not many solutions out there that eschew table-based design in favor of letting creators build sites where anything goes wherever you want. You’ll likely want to skip this product if you need a plug-and-play solution where everything is automatically responsively. However, if you have an eye for design, love creative control, and like to sweat the details until you have made the perfect website, WebWave is a must buy.

PERFECT FOR: -lone entrepreneurs -marketing agencies for smaller clients -those who have many membership sites -for those who want to create and change test sites quickly -who want to have fun instead of getting discouraged! NOT SUITABLE FOR: -big companies who want WordPress at all costs and don't want to risk a plugin not being compatible

I run a small business that helps content creators to flourish. As such, it is imperative that I create an experience representing the quality that future clients would expect from me. In the past, I would hire web designers to create a fantastic site - and I'd expected to pay for time, talent, and labor on WordPress. I picked up WebWave to see if I could come up with mock-up sites that I'd give to a web designer. Boy, was I lucky to pick up WebWave. Not only is WebWave the most accessible platform I've ever come across, but I can also create stunning sites without having to hire a team that would create a stunning site at an epic cost. In my business, the money I save equals the money I make. I'm launching my new site in January and will have a few landing pages dropping as I move forward. Kudos WebWave!

Somebody needing a good combination of value, dependability, and core features is a good use case for a team that has some technical ability.

If a team is very new or green in site building or has highly specific format requirements on how a site should look, then this might be less appropriate.

If you need a website for your business, WebWave excels. If you are an agency looking to create and host websites for your clients, WebWave excels. I cannot think of an area where WebWave falls short. It is, therefore, easy to recommend it to anyone looking to establish an online presence.

Creating any website in any niche, it works very well and even their website is built using WebWave. Example: Creating a Saloon website containing Home, Services, About, Contact-Us, Gallery and embedding booking solution like Calendly, followed by some basic e-commerce packages with direct PayPal or Stripe payment.

I have a client who wants to design and edit his own website but was not sure how to start. I was able to give him a login from Webwave and coach him through the whole process. He can login himself and make edits without having to go through me. This allows my client to more quickly make edits and changes while not having to take care of the "details" of hosting a website.

Since WebWave has all functionality one would need for a basic website--builder, blog, SEO--one can make any kind of websites one would need. Particularly landing pages. After speed improves, it'd be cool to use it for more robust purposes, like an ecommerce site. Since hosting is included, i think this is suitable for freelancers and portfolio or resume websites also. Although WebWave presents itself as a complete solution for websites, solely because it's new, I'm hesitant to use it for anything big. But that's a personal thing. From what I've seen it really looks like the system can be customized to do whatever you want, it's versatile. Personally I'll be mostly using WebWave for a series of static websites (freelance project portfolios)

This is a good option for someone who wants to build a website in a very quick manner even a few days and personalize it without the need to know how to code as you have a lot of options to make eCommerce blogs and CV websites. But this could be limited to what integrations they have in case you want to make a complicated website like with booking and linked information for hotels for example or so.

I think it's a great platform if you want to create a quick and easy site. I think it's not the best when it comes to something like eCommerce because a lot of eCommerce functionality has to do with integrating other software which is pretty limited at the moment. I would recommend them to anyone just wanting to build a simple portfolio site or for using a simple e-commerce shop. I don't think they're a full-fledged solution just yet for e-commerce but they're getting there for sure!

The WebWave builder is really exceptional, it offers a lot of animation possibilities to make your site look professional... personally I'm a fan of Ken Burn Effect. WebWave offers a lot of possibilities:
- Builder with all SEO features
- Store creation, very simple and intuitive with exceptional design possibilities, and adding products is really very simple.
- Creation of a blog very simple, easily integrated.
- Possibility to add different roles in the builder.
- The Agency plan also allows you to make White Label.

It would be nice to have more possibility of theme for the blog, but you can add anything you want in the creation part of the article: images, videos, embed and that's why you can create your own theme.
- Checkout is only available in english for the moment but the developers are very available and listening. I think WebWave is a good alternative to Shopify or Wordpress. Many design possibilities and the builder is quite intuitive. WebWave does not allow you to create a sales tunnel but you can add forms to get contacts from your prospects.

My recommendation is a 7 out of 10 ( 3 out of 5 stars). There is plenty of space for growth and development. Speed and cache need to be much improved. They will have to work hard to improve usability as well. There are numerous nitty-gritty alternatives that can also be cleaned up. If you only need a simple store or lead page builder, this may be a better option. This is preferable to webstarts in my opinion.

WebWave actually serves its purpose as a website builder. They have got a good number of template libraries that are purely drag and drop and easily editable. The page loading is quite okay, and we are so happy with the current performance. It's definitely helping my team and me to design websites without wasting too much time and effort. As I mentioned before, that eye-catching template is one of the best parts of WebWave and me, and my team just loved it. BTW subscriptions are also very affordable.

I can't see any major less appropriate issues so far other than the scope of making the builder more SEO optimization friendly. They can also think of adding a content builder along with a social media scheduling system. However, It's not a part of the website builder but could be a great addition to consider and makes WebWave more attractive.

WebWave will be best for basic websites that need a simple layout and functionalities. It has its own use case and its own particular market. It's very ideal for freelancers, non-developers, and entrepreneurs that don't have enough time to spend on website development. It will not be comparable to Wordpress or HTML development as these serve different purposes. But for all those essential website needs, WebWave is more than great!

It's well suited for complete websites but fits perfectly for landing pages and when you need to hire designers but not developers. This tool helps to get done projects very easily for eCommerce stores for clients that prefer to manage a subscription instead of the whole web development. Its not that well suited for people that require very specific functions that may require plugins.

If you are finding yourself in need of creating professional websites that don't take an eternity to make - WebWave is for you. For more advanced builders, the editor is robust and expansive, allowing you to customize to your heart's content. A bunch of additional perks like free SSL, hosting & email included makes WebWave stand out from the competition.

WebWave is excellent for both beginner and expert online store or blog owners who don't need any coding knowledge. Anyone with no coding knowledge can design a webpage without any knowledge just within 30 minutes. Because WebWave requires a very low or no learning curve. WebWave has all the necessary features on the same user interface.

I can easily reuse the templates this really speeds up the whole process of site-building. I don't need to figure out the hosting I can just publish the site inside of WebWave which also saved my time and money. Today more than 2/3 users are on mobile so mobile-friendly design is very helpful to keep my traffic on my site

My opinion is that Webwave is an excellent choice for the presentation of portfolios for photographers, videographers, and designers, as well as for the selling of digital products, eCommerce websites, blog content, and premium features that are protected behind a membership system, and educational websites. Although Webwave does not yet have the same compatibility with a wide variety of plugins or the same blog-friendly structure as WordPress, I am confident that it will ultimately reach that point given the current speed of development. Additionally, a larger user base will increase the community base and popularity of the product.
