I used to use Wix to develop smaller sites for clients who needed a site for their small businesses. Wix was mainly used as a drag-and-drop website editor. The client wanted to use Wix specifically, so I ended up editing the site there, but have since switched to Squarespace for various reasons.

Since Wix’s user interface is very plug and play, it’s easy for our design team to create websites without having to code much at all. Wix also provides security and stability we’d expect from a hosting server with very little overhead cost.
