At this moment in time, WordPress VIP is excellent for large, enterprise organizations looking to use WordPress as their CMS. The legacy trust issues around WordPress are dispelled when using WordPress VIP and it provides a true enterprise service with excellent infrastructure, performance, and protection. As the cost of licenses for established enterprises, CMS continues to increase and without justification through additional functionality, WordPress is being adopted more often and with VIP you have the perfect package for hosting an enterprise website.

Great platform for high traffic, high-security clients. The support system online is really great, answers are insightful and incredibly helpful.

It is appropriate for larger companies due to the pricing. But as the performance is really good, having options for smaller organizations would be a great idea.

I would say it is less appropriate for 5-15 person organizations where there are no technical contacts and organizations where go to live speed is the most important feature. Since GitHub deployment is being utilized at WordPress VIP, it might take a bit longer to deploy new features.

They really help us get Tampa Zoo in a good place with hosting infrastructure and stability. They provided high and low-level support where it was much needed.

Regarding their competitors, VIP is really suitable for larger clients with more demanding technical needs. Performance doesn't drop no matter the size of the project. Not thinking about downtime or performance dropping allows you to focus on other aspects of your role and deliver overall higher quality to your clients in larger projects.

It is definitely appropriate for big projects or the ones that will likely grow fast. Projects that want a reliable service to back them up. Not that much for smaller organisations that would probably not find a balance between all the services WordPress VIP offers and the amount of the bill at the end of the month.

With an enterprise-level organisation in mind with a lot of content, there can be no doubt that WordPress VIP is well suited. As mentioned, it isn't a low-cost option, but it is well worth it, and if you do need to flag anything with the team, they are great people to deal with and go above and beyond to elevate your experience.

WordPress VIP, for sure, is not for everyone. Small companies with relatively low traffic or ones that do not plan to go viral will probably find a good enough partner for less money. However, if you lead an enterprise with millions of page views or plan to go viral in the future - WordPress VIP has all you will ever need to seamlessly do so.

From my experience, WPVIP is best suited for the larger end of S&B sector and definitely the enterprise sector. When a customer is less sensitive to price, and is looking for a reliable solution with fist rate support, WPVIP is a great choice. It is also a perfect solution for companies that are aggressively growing or expanding to new countries/markets. WPVIP has a large network of partners to enable business growth and improve market penetration.

WordPress VIP is well suited for companies that need a reliable, secure hosting provider. It less appropriate for very small companies that don't need the feature rich hosting that WordPress VIP provides.

Well suited for high-scale businesses with a huge amount of traffic on a daily basis. Not so much for small businesses due to its pricing, sites with not so many visits daily, or if you want to have full control of your site.
