WorkBright enhanced our entire HR department!
The hiring and retention for our company were very disorganized and not time efficient. A lot of our processes were done manually and by paper so things were missed. We decided to use WorkBright to automate the hiring process as well as ensure compliance. Our forms have all been digitized and we are now able to use a dashboard for tracking as well as reporting metrics.

WorkBright was selected as the primary HR software within our company. One of the main reasons it was selected is the intuitive user interface and dashboard. Additionally, the software had excellent features for the cost such as custom reporting, notifications, enhanced security, and training. WorkBright offered many features that other HR software in the same price range did not.
Our company currently uses WorkBright to onboard all new team members. We use this software to review and organize all applications that come into our company, schedule interviews, communicate with applicants, and send/view all onboarding paperwork. It is great for staying organized for a company that receives 20-30 applications every week.
- Reporting - Able to really narrow down insights.
- Customization - Able to create different statuses within the software so that multiple people across our HR team can be involved with each applicant.
- Integrations - Able to integrate with various other platforms/software.
- Onboarding Paperwork - It would be great if there was only one website we had to log into. For example, I have to log into one to send paperwork, and then log into another domain to check the paperwork sent.
- Note Timeline - Anytime any application is touched, viewed, etc. a note is made. We also utilize the note feature to communicate about each applicant. However, it gets quite messy when their are over 40 notes and you are not able to sort or organize them.
- Attachments - Can't attach items in notes, would be nice feature for attaching images, snippets, pdfs, etc.
- Reporting.
- Labeling/organizing/tagging.

- Increased efficiency of hiring process.
- Allowed more time to focus on other HR goals.
- Able to communicate/move applications faster.
We use ADP for payroll and WorkBright for our hiring process/onboarding. WorkBright has been great for our HR team of 6 people. We all are able to monitor applications and push them through our process efficiently.

A non tech person's viewpoint
We use WorkBright for recruitment and onboarding for all employees, interns and volunteers. We post all openings through WorkBright to a list of job sites. Our career website includes a link to all openings on a WorkBright page. For onboarding, every new hire gets all information emailed to them and it is submitted and tracked through WorkBright. WorkBright also alerts us to safety certificate expiration dates.
- The system is seamless from first contact to onboard.
- Easily keep notes on prospective employees and prioritize them.
- Ability to share information directly with other team supervisors/hiring managers.
- Applicants seeking opportunities in multiple departments must have multiple applications active- this is especially confusing.
- The company did not support our integration as much as we needed. We had to hire additional onboarding assistance.
- WorkBright does not interface with our payroll software so there is a significant amount of duplicate work.
- Huge return on investment in terms of time needed to circulate new openings nationally.
- Very positive impact on speed with which interviewer can contact prospective employees.
- Outstanding onboarding for new employees. Tick 5 boxes and all info is emailed directly to the new employee.
- Very challenging build process that took many weeks to fully integrate.
We use Ceridian Dayforce for payroll. It does not integrate with WorkBright. We are looking to unite payroll, recruitment and onboarding with one service or at least groups that can share info. At the time we purchased Ceridian Dayforce they did not have a recruitment module and we preferred the WorkBright onboarding tools.
