Workvivo is an employee communication platform designed to build natural, meaningful bonds between teams, allowing companies to reach and engage their employees. It’s presented as an intranet, comms tool, and employee app all blended into one familiar social experience so that people naturally embrace it, offering companies oversight while giving employees freedom and flexibility.

It's goals are to provide:

The culture amplification and measurement can help to measure the impact of company goals and values.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Workvivo to share posts, create engagement activities, reward program etc. It helps a lot in Peer recognition and employees get a sense of involvement and connectivity with others which majorly solves issues related to dis-connectivity. We have been using this for over 3 years now and the features are super helpful in creating awareness, sharing updates.

Pros

It works as an engagement tool for all employees and helps them connect virtually
Workvivo has options of creating various activities, surveys, quiz etc which is very helpful for corporate employees
The inter-phase is simple and easy to understand and can be used in both mobile and laptop
People can showcase their talent as well which can create recognition and give them exposure

Cons

The tool gets very slow sometimes and often requires multiple refresh which should be fixed by tech team
I often get logged out automatically and need to sign in again which is little inconvenient
High speed internet is required for this tool, else it won't be smooth. Data consumption is relatively high

Positive impact has been created on the socializing skills of employees and creating bond
We have also noticed increased participation and motivation for the employees when it comes to Workvivo
A negative aspect can be over usage of this tool and getting addicted since it can consume a lot of time

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

All of our communication and events are posted on Workvivo. We use it like an intranet and one stop shop for our employees. Instead of emails, use Workvivo to house important documents that are available to all employees. We have different groups that we are part of in order to communicate in one place and the information is always there if anyone need to refer back to it.

Pros

It allows us to schedule events and employees get reminders.
It allows us to post things to employees log in so it is the 1st thing they see.
Workvivo also allows us to share photos and celebrate work anniversaries and birthdays of employees.

Cons

It would be great to be able to create a re-occurring event in Workvivo. This option is not available.

Return on Investment

The positive impact is at least 74% of our staff is registered for the program due to some incentive that drove them to register.
Negative- Not all employee utilize it and search for easy accessible information.

Workvivo is a platform where people in our organizations around the world post an update (related to general update, HSSE updates, cultural updates, community updates, wellbeing updates, Individual employee achievements or events updates).

Pros

there are different communities where we can join and enjoy the updates

Notification Centre attracts our eyes towards it with pop up numbers

Feeds from non-followers also should be visible on new feeds.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Workvivo as an Employee Engagement and Culture Alignment tool. Workvivo has been instrumental in helping us reach our employees and keep them updated on company news and events as well as allowing us to keep them engaged and has played a major role in the delivery and adoption of our Culture Transformation. It has replaced boring emails and instead allowed us to make Internal Communications a lot more fun. The tool is intuitive, easy to use, and offers a great user experience for employees and admins alike. Workvivo also provided a platform that was bi-lingual (Arabic/English) which was a major requirement for us. They worked closely with us to deliver an interface that allowed us to switch between the two languages seamlessly even within a specific post or article. This was a major requirement that no other platform provides.

Pros

Aligning activity to Company Culture and Activities.
DIrectly engaging with employees in real time.
The Workvivo app is very advanced and offers a great experience, as does the desktop version.
The bi-lingual capabilities (English/Arabic) have been a great advantage, something we couldn't find in any of the other tools on the market.

Cons

The survey feature can be improved a lot. We still need to use Survey Monkey for most surveys as the Workvivo features need to be enhanced.
The ability to have people not just confirm events but also register for them with the ability to track registration and send notifications/reminders only to people who have not RSVPed.
The choice to have push notifications sent only to specific groups or to people that haven't opened the post yet.
A gallery of photos from events that can be easily archived and accessed.

It helps me have a 1-click platform to start everything.....!!!!! I can share my thoughts, I can share my ideas, I can do vote polling on the go, and I can have whatever I need in just one click.....!!!!! Also, It has a page full of internal links where we can have access to any site officially. This helps a lot to me in saving time and energy in finding links seperately. I can see what our company has shared publically on social media on the homepage of the portal. The has been the greatest of all in any organization.....!!!!! Above all of this, I can use it anywhere, anytime on my mobile phone too.....!!!!! There is an app to download too, this is too good.....!!!!!

Sometimes, my colleagues say when it comes to posting anything, the UI shows a new pop-up window, which is minimal and can be improvised by giving more features, such as connecting links to tag our teammates.
