  • It's user-friendly for anyone familiar with project management and scrum methodologies, making it easy to navigate and understand Wrike at a high level.
  • Wrike offers features tailored to various business use cases, including project management, agile, scrum, workflows, visualizations, folder structures, blueprints, customization, and integrations.
  • Tasks provide a comprehensive history in one place.
  • There are multiple visualization options to view the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) hierarchy, such as Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and table views.
Cons
  • Non-technical users may require more governance, as they primarily need to focus on their tasks and collaborate effectively. Their Wrike landing page should be simplified.
  • The extensive flexibility and information can overwhelm new users, leading to potential issues with task and date modifications.
  • Learning the tools often involves creating unnecessary projects and tasks.
  • A staging environment alongside the production environment would be beneficial for learning and experimenting before going live.

Great Project Management Tool - Go for it.

  • Project management.
  • Task Management.
  • Summary of projects completed, in queue, open, etc.
  • Easy reporting.
  • Ease of use and very user friendly.
Cons
  • It could improve in reporting, maybe a detailed analysis would help.
  • Integration with other reporting tools, like Power BI, would be helpful, though I don't know if the integration functionality with Power BI is available yet.

  • Track project/task progress
  • Provide visual charts/data
  • Ability to setup automations to help streamline processes
Cons
  • Saving forms when they are not ready to submit
  • Task naming - It can be difficult to identify where that task lives in the my task view when it's under a milestone or if it's a subtask.

  • Tasks are displayed in an easy-to-use table view. And most importantly, there are many other views, such as the invoice view, to name a few.
  • Automated messages and emails to remind you when the date approaches.
  • Ability to assign tasks and achievements to individuals.
  • Deleted tasks are not permanently deleted and can be restored.
  • Changes made leave a record of the user's details, making it easy to track who did what.
  • Loop structure when designing request forms.
Cons
  • Dashboard color coding options.
  • When creating a request form, have a condition that if you select option Q1: it will skip 3 questions and jump to Q5.
  • Looping options in forms - after submitting a form a button to appear to create a new record.

  • Wrike's options to set dependencies keep projects moving automatically without occupying the project manager's time to update each assignee that a task is ready to move forward.
  • Every member of the team has full visibility into every project in the space, allowing us to be a highly efficient, nimble team.
  • Tagging options make projects easy to find within the workspace, and we've found this helpful when assigning projects to our AGILE sprints.
  • Gantt charts quickly identify workload overload, and it helps our team to balance workloads effectively.
  • The mobile app (iOS) helps keep all our team members connected while we setup and support exhibits at conferences and events. There's no need to bring our laptops with us!
  • Blueprints make duplicating repeated project roadmaps lightening fast, saving time in building road maps for our project managers.
  • Dashboards are fully customizable for both reports and team management, which we use during our sprint planning sessions.
  • Mass actions for table views provide us with the capability to make swift changes to assignees or dates, saving us time in project management.
  • Dashboards are fully customizable for both reports and team management, which we use during our weekly Roadblocks meetings to ensure that all projects are moving forward.
Cons
  • Building dashboards can be a little tricky, but Wrike's customer service is quick to respond and quite helpful.
  • The onboarding videos have been so helpful to our team—I would like a deeper dive into using Dashboards and Reports added to these resources for our team to reference.
  • Teams must come to a consensus about which notification settings are a must for ease of communication. We found that if someone only has daily reports turned on and at-mentions silenced, notifications are not as effective.
  • There is not currently a way to add images or embedded links in forms. This would be helpful for us as we develop forms for design requests so that recipients can select from different options with a visual.
  • When developing forms, there is only an option to include one tag with the ticket/task/project that results. We use multiple tags to keep projects visible in different team folders, so having that option would be quite helpful in saving us the time of tagging requests manually.
