Xactly Incent has really a better interface for the sales team to view their reports and be able to sign their sales compensation plans in Xactly Incent. Xactly Incent also provides a good analytics tool to create dashboards and reporting needs for other organizations within the company. Xactly Incent was the overall best solution in terms of security, reporting, processing time, and calculations.

Xactly Incent is a Very Good Product
Ignoring the contractual issues that we had, Optymyze is very different from Xactly Incent. I would say that both offer high degrees of flexibility, but Xactly requires greater technical knowledge to customize. Optymyze allows administrators to manipulate data in a way similar to Domo or Tableau, allowing someone who is less technical to customize it. Xactly's connect module, on the other hand, requires strong knowledge of SQL to be able to manipulate data. I've been looking to take the training for Connect, so I can't comment on the limitations or flexibility beyond that.

Xactly - excellent system if you are willing to make the investment
Xactly Incent is less flexible than Excel but provides a much higher level of automation. We utilize Excel as a tool to validate and analyze calculation results in Xactly. The download feature in Xactly is easy to use and allows for easy integration with various Excel spreadsheets. These two programs can work well together.

Xactly Incent for Internal Use and Customers
- Varicent Incentive Compensation Management, Oracle CX Sales (formerly Oracle Engagement Cloud and Oracle Sales Cloud) and Anaplan
Xactly [Incent] Analytics reports are more advanced and easy to use. The interface is superior and allows for a deep dive into sales numbers and financials for the company. Other departments use Xactly [Incent] to help build cross-functional tools and databases, that can work together efficiently. UAT testing and test scripts are managed by the IT organization to adhere to all company policies. Finance uses it for analytics, forecasting, and financial modeling. HR uses it to determine terminations, new hires, and other relevant data points. Sales Operations uses it for quotas, sales strategy, planning, etc.

Incent came with a less complex proposition to solving our need to move away from a spreadsheet. It does the basic things right and with a fast-changing start-up, canned incentive statements, best practice sales positions that roll into their Insights and Benchmarking products provided a more easy-to-use system.

Xactly Incent Review
Xactly Incent is more user friendly.
In short, Xactly is the winner when it comes to commission. While at times the presentation of the platform is ancient, it is still better for most companies because it provides accurate information and allows you to make updates without constantly needing to contact support. I've been at companies where we've had Xactly then went to Callidus Cloud just to go back to Xactly. I will always pick Xactly if I'm the one leading the process.

We are able to extract audit reports from Xactly Incent. Xactly Incent also allows configuration that is less technical.
