Xactly is Progress' first experience with a Sales Compensation system and it was implemented as a means to help simplify the administration of the sales plans and to also provide better visibility to the Field on details of their plans and monthly earnings. While it is a vast improvement over the former manual/excel processes and relatively user friendly from an admim perspective, I do find it a bit cumbersome to navigate. This may be the result of design during initial implementation.,Customizable dashboards and reporting via Analytics Easily trackable document creation and workflow management Provides ability to manage data processing and plan creation in house with minimal "IT" background,Specific/inflexible link of crediting rules and types to Plans creates situations where multiple plans must be created to accommodate variations in credit source for what should, in essence, be the same plan. Would like ability to apply crediting rules to Positions vs. Plans. Multiple and often duplicative steps required in position and plan creation (ie: rate tables and formulas) that draw out the process and create areas for errors to happen.
