Yardi Managing the Future
- Streamlined our business
- Ease of use
- Plugin in updates are a pain point. I think when Yardi has updates that they should have vetted it and that us the client shouldn't have to test thousands of plugins to see what is different. Just leaving the information on client central for the end user to look at, at their leisure is in my opinion not the best way to handle, you should send out updated white papers to the SPOCS to let them know what changes are coming.
- Allowed us to bring several external vendor products in-house with Yardi Voyager's standard products.
- Saved half of a day in manual reporting by consolidating our custom reports into standard Voyager versions that already exist in the system.
- Prompted us to bring on board a Yardi/IT specialist which has dramatically increased internal ticket response time and expanded our usage of Voyager as a whole.

Yardi Voyager: Robust, quality reporting, but confusing for new users
- We initially moved to Yardi from paper ledgers. This had a tremendous time-saving effect.
- Product was confusing and required training for some of our older staff members.
- Clients that used the product were initially hesitant to pay for the added cost, but with time were able to see the benefit to their software.

Great robust CRM with customizable options, fairly easy workflows, and solid support.
- With ability to customize user fields, great way to aggregate external data
- Open API structure helps reduce user error by automating some entries that come in from the web
- Robust source and sub-source tracking (with ability to create new ones) when utilized correctly can be very useful when pinpointing efficacy of marketing efforts

Yardi - Not intuitive, but thorough
- Like all the software in the multifamily arena, Yardi is pricey. Not quite as pricey as OneSite, so a bit better return, but still pricey.
- That said, the accounting department likes Yardi and it does save us money by providing quick and easy access to our data and the analytics are terrific.

Will take you further than a few yards(i)
- I am not aware of the hard numbers, but Yardi's digital capabilities have saved not only physical storage space of keeping paper files but also the high-valued time of employees to organize such files.
- While it saves time being able to access everything in one database, the difficulties in navigation can make it time-consuming to really find what you need.

- Yardi saves much time whenever my company is involved in consulting a property manager or an asset manager on their real estate asset. Because we can look at their Yardi financials, it's easy to tell where cash is being spent.

- We have seen significant efficiency increases and cost savings since moving to Yardi from an old paper-based tracking system.
- We estimate a 5 year return on investment after implementation costs, and ongoing maintenance.
- We have seen the ability to re-align our staffing with the efficiency of the software. No longer do we spend hours hunting through paper files.
