It's much better to use Zoho Analytics than Google Sheets because the reports are much more scalable, don't crash, and load faster. The only thing we miss about Google Sheets was how easy it was to write custom formulas -- Zoho Analytics's custom formula building could be a little more user-friendly.

Since Zoho Analytics already connects directly with other Zoho products we already use, it was the best choice since the beginning. By comparing with other vendors of course there are some features it doesn't have, but when comes to cost it was killer, and having fewer features was not a huge problem to our business.

Due to multiple features and more customizable dashboards, you can make which are not present in other platforms which I have compared during purchase time. Even further you can format the dashboard as per your choice which is another best features since we have to share our dashboards with our clients it will be necessary to make customizable dashboards with proper formatting so they will look like very interactive dashboards to our clients.

Zoho Analytics is better in form of costing and pricing. The package is cheaper. The firm being large, small cap or mid cap, Zoho Analytics can help them provide accurate analytics and details. Customized graphical representation can be created which is easy to understand and strategies will help the firm prioritize its urgent and important activities.

We used Yellowfin for 1 year and it really doesn't compare to Zoho Analytics because it doesn't have the native integration with ManageEngine's tools and the customization is more technical, Zoho Analytics lets you create dashboards automatically, immediately when you connect the data source (no matter if that is a MSSQL database, URL or an XLS file), maybe you will require custom some details in the dashboard, but it's not compared to create it from zero.

Our organization utilizes Zoho Analytics because it is customizable and is quickly adaptable. Our case management system has Zoho Analytics built right into the system so we can generate reports quickly and accurately. We are also learning how to bring in some of our other reporting systems into Zoho so we can generate consistent reports utilizing different databases. The end viewer doesn't even know we are pulling reports from different systems.

Excel is really the other alternative I've used for analysis. Anyone who's used it knows that it's fine if you have a single 2 dimensional table, and not suitable when you have multiple tables that have multiple relations. Mapping out relationships in Zoho Analytics was pretty easy to do - I could take my larger excel tables and put them right into analytics and then map the relationships.

There is nothing that Zoho can't do that Tableau can do. The only difference is that the UI/UX of Tableau is slightly superior. Tableau can ingest data in about 100 different formats including PDFs etc. Did not see that with Zoho. Data Preparation and Ingestion is infact faster with Zoho CRM. Automated dashboards are also very helpful in Zoho Analytics.

Zoho Analytics reports on other Zoho app data well, but it’s no match for bigger players like TapClicks, Google Data Studio or Tableau for visualizing external data. Zoho Analytics is very complex to set up, and certainly not for beginners. Beginners would be better off using TapClicks or Google Data Studio, while advanced users would be better off using a more powerful platform like Tableau. Zoho Analytics falls somewhere in the middle, but doesn’t offer enough benefit to justify using it over similar products.

I selected Zoho Analytics because it was good for what I was looking for at the time. I cannot compare it with other products because I have not made use of them. Perhaps the company lacks to do more promotion of them so that it is in the consumer agenda of all.

Zoho is holding its own in comparison. Payroll reports and projections were critical and based on donor needed reports and schedules. Zoho could do more with payroll projections and "what ifs" payroll situations.

Microsoft is the basic for any small business who starts with reporting. As you scale and your data grows you feel the requirement of professional reporting suite that can keep up with the velocity and size of data. Empower your sales team with timely alerts and should not require you to spend 100s of hours in customizing the basic reports. Cost of Cognos is expensive. Also, implementation is many focused on keeping large scale companies in mind.

I used Google Charts for a bit but I realized that it hugely lacked the right tools and functionality that we needed as a business and the data wasn't properly analyzed because of its many limitations. As of right now, we don't have this issue with Zoho Analytics and we have found many tools that have helped us that we did not even realize we needed back then.

We would have preferred to set up an API into Microsoft Power BI, however, this would have taken resources to investigate and implement. Signing up for Zoho Analytics in order to gain access to the necessary data points within Service Desk Plus Cloud was seamless. It was very helpful to be given the ability to trial the application and verify that it met our reporting needs beforehand.
