Different departments are using Zoho Reports for different tasks. It's been very helpful for us for testing purposes against our own APIs as well as for aggregating data from multiple sources. Our executives use it for heavy data analysis to help create models for both financial and forecasting purposes. Our technology department uses it more for testing.
  • Automation - The ability to pull in an API feed using a scheduled task makes it as easy as "set it and forget it".
  • Scalability and performance - We have never run into an issue with too much data, it always performs well.
  • Ease of use - The easy to use interface makes it usable for all levels of technological sense.
  • Wizards - It might be helpful to have some cookie cutter type wizards to help new (and less experienced) users get started quickly.
  • Tutorials and Help - One thing that I find is that some of my team who are not as tech savvy end up coming to us to ask questions as they can't seem to find answers to their questions easily.
If you are pulling data from an API, Zoho Reports has to be one of the easiest products to use. Following the quick directions, you can get up and running with pulling in and parsing data in no time. It's also very easy to take that data and then create an easily readable graphic interpretation of your data.

  • Automation of data syncing has had the biggest positive impact on our team
  • Having all our reports in one easy to use system
You definitely have to be tech/data savvy to setup more complex reporting. However for basic reporting it's super easy. Setting up data synchronization is very straight forward for most systems and once it's setup it runs without issue. The system itself has an easy to use and understand UI although the main dashboard is a little dated. It could use some newer functionality like drag and drop for the Explorer view
We've used Zoho Analytics for many years and it has continued to grow with us scaling with no issues. We started with one department and now use it across all of our departments and the whole company. Each department manages their own data and we've never had any issues with syncing large amounts of data daily.
Since implementing Zoho Reports, we haven't used anything else as it very much fits our needs at this time. We found that it was easier to use compared to other systems that we had tested out.

Each of the following departments use Zoho Analytics on a daily basis.
Marketing (for measuring success of their marketing campaigns and to determine future campaigns )
Email deliverability (for measuring log statistics to look for anomalies and trends)
Email Analytics (for determining success of their email campaigns as well as review reporting analytics)
Advertising (for tracking ad partners impressions, CPM's, and revenue)

The team that supports our Zoho Analytics users are made up of technologists and data analysts. The technology team helps to ensure data is successfully synced with our back-end systems and Zoho. They also assist with setting up complex reporting. The data analyst team supports in setting up our reports, dashboards, and data flow between departments.
  • Managing big data
  • Creating easy to use reports and dashboards to share with team members
  • Visualizing our data in multiple ways
  • Syncing data from sources that were difficult to do so previously
  • Creating multi use dashboards to bridge the data gap between departments
  • Aggregate log data from our email servers
  • AWS integration
  • Integrating other third party data that we are collecting
  • Aggregate future Shopify data
We have been very happy over the years using Zoho Analytics. The support team has been great to work with when needed and the continuing addition of data sources has been great as we have grown. The portal is stable and we've never had any issues accessing our critical data. In addition the syncing between our systems is easy and reliable.
Yes
We had our own home grown system. After many years of analyzing our data in house, we outgrew it and were in need of something more robust and reliable. We tried a few other products but settled on ZOHO for its ease of use, and flexible pricing structure. We are able to integrate our own systems as well as other systems we use with ZOHO very easily.
  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
We are always price conscious so price was a big factor. We were very interested in scalability which ZOHO clearly had. We knew the name and knew that it had features that we planned to use later on down the line so getting familiar with it would make it easy when the time came to expand our needs.
I think that our team did a good job in identifying ZOHO as the right product for our team. If we had to do it all over again, I think we would land in the same spot. We looked at some other products that were either too expensive or had so many features that it made it complicated to use. Zoho covered al our bases.
ZOHO is a very reliable company/product. We never had any issues with downtime or inaccessibility to our data. Any type of maintenance that they had to perform was clearly communicated and never an issue. We use a lot of external hooks and we've never had any issues with getting ZOHO to communicate with any of those hooks.
ZOHO has obviously invested a lot of time effort and money in to creating a reliable infrastructure with high availability. We've never had any issues with performance and all of our data crunching small to large has always been well within reason. We have come to appreciate the performance of ZOHO and will continue to use it for all of our data needs.
