Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

The basics are easily customizable but, there is very little documentation on the impact of how the incorrect customization can affect other modules and their contained fields. The regular need for scripting custom fields and mapping these from one module to another is difficult and time-consuming. Not all companies have developers/programmers and rely on someone savvy enough to make these things work. Zoho is mostly happy to help with these customizations but better instruction on writing these customizations without YouTubing would be great.

Zoho is designed only for making the application user-friendly as much as can. Also, it is quite a reliable product, Also doing the integration as well as the configuration are much easy as compared to the other platforms. It is very easy to use and quite user-friendly in order to work on any platform.

I gave a rating of 7 because we have put weeks into our Zoho setup the past couple of years and still haven't gotten it exactly where we want. There are times when we are unable to edit something and other times when we edit something and it sets off a bunch of unwanted reactions elsewhere. I wouldn't say it is too complex though.

For our requirements, it was perfectly configurable. We could visualize our sales method and implement Zoho CRM into it without making any major sacrifices. Implementation was also relatively painless. We had excellent help from their support team as well. I would say unless your use case scenario is really unique, this will be serviceable for most requirements.

It can be configured with your existing platforms but little technical expertise is required. Complexity is there if your existing platform doesn't support addition of new software. But since Zoho CRM is cloud based application, the configuration is not a major concern with little expertise. There are various add-ons given which can be installed and downloaded so that software can be configured properly with the existing applications. It also gives office automation support, data configuration and database management support.

We found that highly technical staff was NOT needed to configure the product for each department. This, coupled with the ability for even non-technical staff to be involved in developing custom automations speaks highly of the product. During the initial migration and implementation there was a great deal of reliance on Zoho customer support. Once these initial tasks were completed and staff became aware of how easy it is to build dashboards, reports and automations then productivity (and even in-house excitement) rose significantly. From a technical perspective, the CRM package does a great job of NOT confusing the staff by forcing them to understand the more powerful (but challenging) aspects of the program (using APIs, developing custom 'modules', etc.).

Various organizations have various requirements in CRM programming, and Zoho gives adaptability that permits it to work for a wide range of various organizations. Furthermore, Zoho gives a ton of choices for customizations. You can add expansions and mixes through the Zoho Marketplace to all the more likely to deal with your funds, further develop deals, increment efficiency, and significantly more. Many (however not everyone) of the expansions on Zoho are free and don't expect coding to incorporate them into your current framework.

The platform has multiple options to build out the layouts and fields to whatever the business needs are. There are several support specialists who are very familiar with the usability of the products so if a buildout becomes too complex they are there to assist either over the phone voice-guided, or by remote computer access where they will maneuver the computer remotely to assist with the completion of the buildout.

Indeed, yes, too much configuration. The configuration of fields, its options, values, and parameters are way too many it was driving me nuts. It is highly configurable but just painful to explore.

Depends on what you're trying to do. Pipeline easy to set up and use. Doing some simple such as creating an auto email for new newsletter signup (Zoho Campaigns) and then adding those contacts to CRM should be doable in fewer steps and without having to create a sequence. CRM Forms are unbelievably un-customizable, so I guess they are trying to make you purchase Zoho Forms.

Most of the configuration is out of the box. There are scenarios where you'll need a custom function but the team will support and help you with your requirements.

Customization is paramount in putting together a product that works for your organization. Zoho CRM provides a great platform to build as much or as little customization as you need. The learning curve can be a bit steep for the novice but this provides opportunity for creating something unique for your company, giving you a competitive advantage.
