Zoho One is the only One

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is the single platform we use to operate our entire business other than the web browser. I've been a long time Zoho user starting with Zoho CRM and then a year or so later, began using Zoho Books, and then Zoho Mail. Once Zoho One was released which is the all inclusive subscription which includes at the time about 40 Zoho modules, I was sold as it was the more economical option and was a full integrated approach to operating our business. Most recently we've incorporated Zoho Payroll which we'd been waiting for and so far, love it.

Pros

  • Single Sign on
  • Single Subscription payment
  • Full Integrated across all modules
  • Excellent UI/UX

Cons

  • Sometimes updates are released without prior notification
  • So feature rich it can be a bit of a learning curve if you don't start with the basics
  • Not as well known as the heavily promoted SalesForce or HubSpot

Return on Investment

  • An affordable alternative to more expensive options that are not even close to all that Zoho One has included in their subscription.
  • I cannot imagine ever going back to using multiple software to run our business.
  • Completely eliminates duplicate data entry since Zoho One is full integrated across modules.
  • I wish our organization was larger so we could use some of the other totally tricked out features like Zoho People.

Getting in to Zoho One

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We only use Zoho One for Zoho Sites - the sebsite builder. And for now, only the static website (not eCommerce). The reason is that whilst it is not the most sophisticated of site builders it is relatively easy to learn and use and is price-competitive. It has forms for surveys, log-on security if required and integrates with social media well. We recently added Zoho Desk and so soon will start to use the Groups and user management features. Together, we plan to use all htree tools to manage websites and help desks, along with Knowledgebase capabilities. Hence, this is an evolving experience with Zoho One.

Pros

  • Integration with Microsoft 365 apps
  • Social media integration
  • Collaboration between the apps we use (Desk and Sites)

Cons

  • In my experience, the website builder confuses the concepts of columns and rows with layout options difficult to change once a template is chosen.
  • International - we made the mistake of setting up our Desk in Australia where SSL and modern OAuth with mail integration is not possible. We needed to migrate to a US subscription to get these features. Why?
  • In my opinion, Forms are still a little bit tacky - in structure and reporting. We usually go back to M365.

Return on Investment

  • Most Zoho One apps are well priced so it is cost-effective
  • Help and support is provided very rapidly. This enhances the useability of each of the products. Sales reps keep on our backs constantly.
  • The ability to add contributing editors to app is great. This helps control overall subscription costs.

Easy and Best CRM Zoho One

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been using Zoho One for around three years. There is nothing like Zoho One that is so comprehensive and easy to use. Zoho One helps us to see and control a lead to deal and helps us to keep each step documented. Making a deal and creating contract is easy in Zoho One and which stands as our primary data base of our day to day work. Zoho One helps me to create tasks and it’s continuous reminder helps me to create my work on time. One another important part is to generate reports. We use Zoho One to create reports for each meeting and mostly daily activities. Which helps us to improve our business and work. These reports are customisable and that gives so much clarity and visibility of my work. We integrated Zoho One with outlook and it keeps account of our email communication and linked directly with each leads.

Pros

  • Report generation
  • Agreement, deal creation
  • Integration with outlook

Cons

  • Loading speed of Zoho One can be improved
  • Customisation chances are always good

Return on Investment

  • Improved our work with reports
  • Integration helps to keep tracking
  • Agreement creation

One subscription multiple apps.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used multiple apps under Zoho One, which are - Zoho CRM, Campaigns, Marketing Automation, Analytics, Projects, Flow, Mail, Cliq, and more. They take care of complete sales and marketing (GTM) team functions, and also make sure that there is a seamless data connectivity between applications.

Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects are also connected with HubSpot, where our onboarding uses it for project management and sync up with Sales which uses HubSpot.

Pros

  • One interface, multiple business apps
  • Data is seamless as everything is under one roof
  • Pricing is cheaper compared to buying different apps from different vendors

Cons

  • At times the UI gets slow
  • Would be nice if we could have more pricing tiers
  • Navigation between apps can also get better

Return on Investment

  • Projects is a lifeline for the onboarding team, as it does the major heavy lifting in onboarding project management
  • Data flow between apps is a must have for contextual information to pass on between teams
  • In terms of ROI, it happens much quicker compared to having multiple apps to do the job, as Zoho One is a lot cheaper than having many tools.
