Zoho Projects is a web-based project management and planning software that provides project teams with a web-based collaborative environment. It contains the requisite features for project management platforms, such as time and resource allocation to tasks, issue tracking, milestones, Gantt chart, timesheets and reporting tools, task workflow automation and a feed modeled after social networking sites with the goal of approachability. It also includes a bug tracking module specifically designed to support software development projects, and is integrated with other Zoho products including Zoho CRM. It manages documents, contains calendar and list views, a team intranet and chat, and more. Its functionality is expandable with apps (Google Apps) and Zoho Projects is mobile accessible.
Presently it is free to manage two projects in Zoho Projects. The vendor says relatively low cost paid versions, on three tiers, allow management of increasing numbers of projects (up to infinite with the top tiered Enterprise level) and increased storage space. Live customer support is accessible via email and chat.

Although it might lack intuitiveness, once you get a hang of how Zoho Projects works, you can do a LOT. The impact good project management has on profitability is huge, and it has helped not only improve communication and coordination when working on a project, but more importantly have adequate tracking of time, due dates and potential bottle necks.
When we first joined Projects, support was iffy at best. We had some tickets that were several days outstanding, some bugs we reported that got no response, etc. However, in the last year, that has changed exponentially. We get quick responses from the support team now, and they are quick to resolve any issues we have for the most part.
Now, this is the saddest part of this software that they don't have an excellent customer support team. I find it challenging to connect with there support team. Like during my login error issues, my team contacted them for tech support; they take a long time compared to the other company software support, and I find it hard to explain the situation to them.
While I have not used the customer support for Zoho Projects extensively, all of the other Zoho tools that I use have an extensive Knowledge Base, very active public forum where people respond quickly, in-built live-chat to chat with a customer service representative, and plenty of videos on YouTube to learn different aspects of the software.
Customer services and support was great. I was able to get someone on the phone to assist where needed. Online support could use some ramping up but overall there are enough resources to get through any bumps. Their team is very responsive and makes sure you get a resolution for your solution.
Support was not well trained. Most times being on the support calls were frustrating. It was mainly because the system could not handle our requests and therefore made the support staff feel inadequate.
Zoho does everything I need for a small business. If you have to do a lot of heavy computing then this may not be the product for you but if you need to stay on top of projects and keep teammates updated, this product may just suit all of your immediate needs.
