A superior and high quality virtual meeting tool
We use it for all of our course lectures, meetings, and virtual events. We are currently transitioning to using Zoom versus another service because of Zoom's superior features and ease of use. It helps easily integrate with our current enterprise software and allows both students and faculty to easily integrate Zoom into their personal devices and calendars. It is used for almost all of our virtual meetings and is used extensively all over our campus.

Zoom is much better than its peers. It has superior functionality, is much more intuitive to use on a daily basis, and is much more reliable than the previous products that we have used. Zoom has also been advocated for extensively by our students and faculty due to its increased prevalence at other institutions and superior quality.

We use Zoom [Events] for a variety of types of meetings. We recently have used it for webinars throughout the agency for updates to policies, to changes in procedures, and for training purposes too. We also have used it for educational purposes as it allows us access to camera use and we are able to chat in groups.

- Making a change on the name we have displayed can be easier
- Would like more hidden option tabs
- More participants on the free version
- Allowing so many users in one conference
- Camera access as well as audio only
- Calendar scheduling and sending invites
- Saves travel time to different locations by bringing everyone to the conference via Zoom.
- It has saved money on training by allowing us to meet with so many users.
- It can be used for free (with limits to number of users).
I have also used Video connect for doctors' appointments and although it has its pros as well, the Zoom seems much more user-friendly. I am not too familiar with whether or not the platform allows for as many users to all be part of the same conference or what kind of costs it comes with.

Before the global Covid-19 pandemic, we were using Zoom [Events] in hybrid meetings and it's worked very well. At the beggining of the pandemic, the over-demand made the system less stable but it was fixed quickly. Nowadays we're using Zoom [Events] to make 100% of our meetings. The results? An increase of 70% in attendees and 20% more clients.
