What is Zoom Revenue Accelerator?

Zoom Revenue Accelerator is a conversation intelligence tool, available for users of Zoom Meetings.

As an intelligence tool, Zoom Revenue Accelerator aims to provide:
  • Actionable feedback - Reduces anecdotal feedback and identifies areas for improvement using post-meeting analysis that includes transcription highlights as well as sentiment and engagement scores.
  • Forecast more accurately - Digestible, aggregated insights integrated into a CRM to provide context on the sales funnel, highlight deals that need attention, and identify pipeline trends.
  • Understand sales deals better - View sales deals by stage, size, teams, opportunity name, and use analytics for the number of interactions, competition, and customer sentiments to identify sales improvements.

Zoom Revenue Accelerator also provides seller guidance and highlights, such as talk-listen ratio, filler word usage, call review to locate the parts of the conversation and topics that the prospect found most engaging, and next step reminders. Also, its outputs help sales managers and teams discover best practices as exhibited by top reps, and provide feedback or information to marketing demonstrating what language and material is most effective at communicating a message. Also, the feedback can be used to gather information about what competitors are mentioned, and why.

Zoom Revenue Accelerator integrates with Zoom Meetings, but also features out-of-the-box integrations for Salesforce CRM, and calendar tools (e.g. Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, etc.). It was launched by Zoom April 2022 as Zoom IQ, announced along with numerous updates to Zoom's product portfolio and capabilities.

We use Zoom Revenue Accelerator to analyze calls between sales and customers. It does a great job of both summarizing information with AI so we can focus on customer interactions instead of focusing on taking notes. It also does a great job identifying key metrics about the interaction that we use to train and assess customer engagement. Our managers can easily create success plans for their reports, and we can make data-driven decisions about our deals based off the information Revenue Accelerator is giving us.
  • Summarizing and separating the various conversation topics
  • Identifying follow-up action items
  • Analyzes conversation, provides guidance on how to improve
  • It can be expensive if you don't use the full feature set properly
  • It could be more consistent at identifying callers in a conversation. Sometimes a two part conversation has 5 speakers in the summary.
  • The analytics take a while to understand. Could be more initially intuitive.
Zoom Revenue Accelerator is very useful in a sales-driven organization. Being able to gather data from previously unmeasurable calls can have a big impact on a company's performance. It is not as useful on internal calls where metrics aren't needed, nor would it be very useful in an organization that doesn't benefit from extracting data from their calls.

We seek to record all meetings that happen with external invitees so that we can analyze and coach our team by using general metrics, transcriptions and summaries.

We are also using all this for Enablement and training purposes as we have the managers watch the recordings and together with the end-users and Enablement, create "Moments" (clips) of the most important parts of conversations: good objection handling, pitches, intros, set up of next steps, and so on.

Overall the tool works great and integrates well with systems such as Chili Piper and Salesforce. The data is solid and the translations work well as well although could be polished further as with any other translating software that has to translate like speech and stuff like "umm" and other live speech items.

In conclusion this is a tool that works quite well as an alternative to Gong or Chorus, it fits well in your Zoom ecosystem, and the integration with Salesforce is being improved quarter over quarter, with more logics and fields that can be pulled in to get more insight over time.
  • Summaries and Next Steps
  • Separation of key moments during the meeting
  • Pulling data from Salesforce of stage the convo took place in, amount, owner, etc
  • Coaching features and insights such as talk ratios, next steps, scorecards
  • Keep improving the Salesforce integration, bring a lightning component into Salesforce with Visualforce
  • Notifications for when users stop recordings or delete them
  • Notifications for when managers see a users recordings
  • Notifications for recordings with big deals or named accounts (custom filtering)
  • Slack notifications for processes recordings for calls with deals/accounts that meet conditions for filters
Well used and appropriate if you are on the Zoom ecosystem for your company and you use Salesforce. It is important to mention that if you book meetings via Outreach, then the meeting will be booked by using the PMI (Personal Meeting Identifier) which is basically a static meeting link your SDRs/AEs have.

This PMI is not intended to be used for outbound calls, but more for private 1:1 conversations within your org, thus Zoom Revenue Accelerator has a hard time recording those by default and it needs the user to consent it every time.

This is not an issue with Zoom Revenue Accelerator, however, but important to know.

If you use systems such as Chili Piper for booking your meetings, you can set up and make sure that every meeting booked with Chili Piper will always be a unique Zoom ID, which is how Zoom Revenue Accelerator is intended to be used, and then the system works properly and all those meetings are recorded by default as that's how Zoom Revenue Accelerator expects you to use the default, one-time, external unique Zoom ID meetings, instead of the more private Personal Meeting ID.

All-in-all, just be mindful of the tools in your ecosystem when considering this tool and make sure you tick all the boxes for it working right and the implementation to go well, otherwise you won't get the desired results which, again, isn't a lacking on Zoom Revenue Accelerator's side but your org might just not be using Zoom Revenue Accelerator as intended.

Zoom Revenue Accelerator allows us to build two key components of a high performing sales function, it enables us to share best practice quickly and coach to a minimum standard using scorecards.
  • Indicators enable us to quickly find relevant conversations
  • Playlists help us share best practice and speed up ramp for new hires
  • Dashboards for managers with one-view for all their team and key metrics
Our first venture into conversation intelligence, managers love the functionality, enablement loves the coaching, senior leadership love the insight.

Great tool to use intelligence on calls and have same user experience: We used it to analyze my reps conversations with clients as a way to understand how were they doing and also how conversations, meetings went with those clients for purposes of client management, on boarding, upselling, information procurement for deals and also as training sessions for other reps. Since our tool of preference for calls is Zoom is actually easier to have all integrated in one tool and navigate the same user experience when having calls and de-briefing afterwards. Main areas to coach: - Selling process - Virtual presentation skills finally to track common conversations, topics or questions from questions. Also for managers training as directors would also look at how we manage our teams calls, times and feedback.
  • Finding common conversations
  • Recording meaningfull customer conversations
  • Training
  • Analising patterns
  • Other more focused tools for sales offer coaching and deal management insights
  • Spanish inteligence, looks like is poor and not really funtional
  • Stronger more in depth competitors connecting well to zoom calls
Super useful for understanding conversations better, common topics or questions or simply to review calls (already happening in zoom) to improve reps performance Deep sales insights for deal management is less appropriate v.s other tools Now, for training and information tracking purposes is also a great tool since it helps you have in place a repository of calls, comments and more importantly some analytics (not good enough for calls in spanish though). If you use zoom as the main platform for customer and internal calls, is a great bundle offering great user experience and similarity, familiarity of both interfaces

Using Zoom IQ is useful for tracking the duration of time spent talking. It allows retrospective analysis on what aspects of your presentation need tweaking to give a more concise presentation.
  • Can look at time spent talking to refine presentation.
  • Allows user to look at how engaging your questions were.
  • Provides a documented clear avenue for next steps.
  • Would like to see more analytics on how the buyer interprets seller's question.
  • Facial recognition analysis.
  • Being able to provide live directives to adjust your sales strategy.
Good for seeing what you did right retrospectively. Bad for live recommendations.

In recent years, software for virtual meetings has also become essential in university teaching. Zoom IQ is provided free of charge to all teachers and researchers of my University to analyze interactions with students during calls. Zoom IQ helps us extract critical insights from conversations to improve education based on our students' specific and everyday needs.
  • Analyze interactions with our students by helping us extract critical insights from conversations.
  • Zoom IQ allows us to manage complex information deriving from conversations automatically.
  • Zoom IQ helps us keeping the timing concise for our conversations with students.
  • Zoom IQ's graphics need improvement to be more intuitive.
  • Zoom IQ does not allow you to analyze several voices simultaneously. It becomes very complicated to expand the conversations to more students.
  • Personalized feedback does not always respond correctly to what has been said. There is room for improvement in audio and voice analysis.
Certainly, Zoom IQ is not software suitable for educational use in universities since it was born as software to facilitate commercial organizations in sales. Therefore, the use we make of it is adaptive to our needs and limited to a few functions. Despite this, as mentioned, it helps us better organise the information that emerges during the calls with our students to respond to their needs.

Zoom IQ was used as an additional layer of analysis for online interviews of a research study. We wanted to understand consumer conversations on more semantic levels. Apart from listening to consumer opinions, we considered metrics such as Talking Speed, Longest Spiel, Engaging questions, etc. to monitor how the interview went. This data was then correlated with the quality of insights derived from answers. It helped us optimize the overall interview process.
  • Integration with platforms like Office 365, Salesforce
  • Recording management
  • Exception handling
  • Stability of Windows OS
  • Non-English language support (mainly Asian)
  • Can't analyse pre-recorded Zoom meeting videos
Zoom IQ certainly adds another layer of insights for semantic optimization wherever conversations are taking place and could directly impact the outcomes; think about research, sales pitches, people experience functions etc. Only limitation so far is that it is limited to English language only and if your conversations are multi-lingual then it is not supported currently.

Our use case for using Zoom IQ is mostly for sales. Zoom IQ gives very good insight of our sales pitch and calls. These insights help us to arrange next followup call and we are prepared for the customer need and this helps a lot with conversion. During video calls we use some strategies but we don't know which one is effective but with Zoom IQ we are able to get insights over that.
  • Insights about the video feed.
  • Actionable insights to be taken after call
  • Enhanced customer experience and insights on strategies.
  • Pricing could be worked upon and could be made competitive
  • Integration is simple but a little lengthy process.
  • Sometimes the app crashes on low power systems.
- Its well suited for any level of organisation and if you have a good budget. The video clarity and processing is good and fast enough if you have a very good system. If you have a very tight budget i would recommend to use a mix of some tools because the cost of Zoom IQ can quickly go up.

It helps our communication skills in order to effectively close deals to retain advertisers and promoters. This also helps show us where we need improvement in our pitch video calls and what to focus on to create the best pitch and business communication possible. It also increased the productivity of the team because of this and spent less time analyzing.
  • Metrics
  • Suggestions
  • Key phrases
  • Troubleshooting
  • Easier how to guide
  • Create intro video for first timers
It is really solely suited for those who need to make sale calls on a regular basis. The company needs to be big enough to afford the software as well. The employees also have to do a bit of training to fully understand the program and its results and how to improve for the next sales video call.

ZoomIQ helps sales reps gain valuable insight into their conversation with a customer. You can see talk time, # of engaging questions, and talk speed. It is very similar to Chorus. AI.
  • zoomIQ provides good conversation metrics around words per minute and talk speed.
  • As a sales rep, it is helpful to see the breakdown of team vs client talk time.
  • Seeing the deal size and projected close date is also helpful.
  • I wish that there was a feature that would allow you to translate audio transcripts from one language to another.
  • I wish it acted more like Chorus AI, where you could see your team's statistics and how you compared.
Zoom IQ is a great tool for Sales reps.

We are using this tool to analyze our outbound sales calls to conduct A/B testing on the interest generated towards various content cadences used for the outreach. The platform easily integrates with our Tech stack and is very intuitive and easy to use.
  • Gives insights post calls on the amount of interest expressed.
  • Call time analysis.
  • Gives us recommendations based on conversation analysis.
  • The prompts for similar calls can be fed into the system so it appears on screen during the call.
This platform is best suited if you have a team who might be working on a product launch so as to work on the analysis of the content cadence used for the outreach to prospects and existing customers. Another use case can be when training a new batch of sales reps on existing call transcripts and recommendations generated by the platform.

Zoom IQ is a great tool for the overall toolbox for any sales organization. It proves to be a smart tool that adds value to the sales activities from generating sentimental analysis to capturing key points from the discussion. Scope of the use case is to rate the call, capture the premise of conversation and learn from the feedback.
  • Keeping record of all the touchpoints with the prospects.
  • Providing conversation metrics to improve the sales deliveries.
  • Capturing next steps from the call.
  • Adaptable Feedback for the sales representatives.
  • If they can break the call into agenda pieces, it will be really great to jump to the main parts of the overall call.
  • Fetching the titles of the attendees underneath their speaking timeline.
  • Overall, good platform.
Zoom IQ is a a great tool for any sales organization to keep improving on the sales delivery through the sales cycle. It may find it's use in almost all kind of sales expect the small sales where ticket size is small and the sales cycle is significantly shorter (fewer touch points.

We use Zoom for all our virtual meetings both internally and externally of our organization. As a mostly remote company it helps to connect with our customers and especially during sales calls to understand the metrics of the calls
  • Conversation metrics
  • CRM integration
  • Metrics are basic
  • Suggestions needed during call, not after
If you have Zoom already and want more details about the conversations and be able to start integrating to your CRM, I would say give it a shot.

Coast needed to understand the sales conversions to deals utilizing how we were conversing with our potential travelers. There are so many variables in the staffing world that streamlining became essential so all sales staff would be on the same page and the variances became not the norm. Better solid sales. Less chance for interpretation.
  • Picked up on language within the sales team
  • Broke down where interpretation comes in
  • Streamlined our recruiting team training modules
  • Bit pricey per seat
  • User experience can be hard to follow, takes training
Any sales team working remote will benefit from this. It’s hard to train sales remotely over video. Things are missed. This keeps things steady. It’s very sales focused so that is where it’s useful. If your team is growing at a very fast pace this is essential. This has kept us growing and consistent.
