What is Zoom Revenue Accelerator?

Zoom Revenue Accelerator is a conversation intelligence tool, available for users of Zoom Meetings.

As an intelligence tool, Zoom Revenue Accelerator aims to provide:
  • Actionable feedback - Reduces anecdotal feedback and identifies areas for improvement using post-meeting analysis that includes transcription highlights as well as sentiment and engagement scores.
  • Forecast more accurately - Digestible, aggregated insights integrated into a CRM to provide context on the sales funnel, highlight deals that need attention, and identify pipeline trends.
  • Understand sales deals better - View sales deals by stage, size, teams, opportunity name, and use analytics for the number of interactions, competition, and customer sentiments to identify sales improvements.

Zoom Revenue Accelerator also provides seller guidance and highlights, such as talk-listen ratio, filler word usage, call review to locate the parts of the conversation and topics that the prospect found most engaging, and next step reminders. Also, its outputs help sales managers and teams discover best practices as exhibited by top reps, and provide feedback or information to marketing demonstrating what language and material is most effective at communicating a message. Also, the feedback can be used to gather information about what competitors are mentioned, and why.

Zoom Revenue Accelerator integrates with Zoom Meetings, but also features out-of-the-box integrations for Salesforce CRM, and calendar tools (e.g. Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, etc.). It was launched by Zoom April 2022 as Zoom IQ, announced along with numerous updates to Zoom's product portfolio and capabilities.

Zoom Revenue Accelerator is very useful in a sales-driven organization. Being able to gather data from previously unmeasurable calls can have a big impact on a company's performance. It is not as useful on internal calls where metrics aren't needed, nor would it be very useful in an organization that doesn't benefit from extracting data from their calls.

Well used and appropriate if you are on the Zoom ecosystem for your company and you use Salesforce. It is important to mention that if you book meetings via Outreach, then the meeting will be booked by using the PMI (Personal Meeting Identifier) which is basically a static meeting link your SDRs/AEs have.

This PMI is not intended to be used for outbound calls, but more for private 1:1 conversations within your org, thus Zoom Revenue Accelerator has a hard time recording those by default and it needs the user to consent it every time.

This is not an issue with Zoom Revenue Accelerator, however, but important to know.

If you use systems such as Chili Piper for booking your meetings, you can set up and make sure that every meeting booked with Chili Piper will always be a unique Zoom ID, which is how Zoom Revenue Accelerator is intended to be used, and then the system works properly and all those meetings are recorded by default as that's how Zoom Revenue Accelerator expects you to use the default, one-time, external unique Zoom ID meetings, instead of the more private Personal Meeting ID.

All-in-all, just be mindful of the tools in your ecosystem when considering this tool and make sure you tick all the boxes for it working right and the implementation to go well, otherwise you won't get the desired results which, again, isn't a lacking on Zoom Revenue Accelerator's side but your org might just not be using Zoom Revenue Accelerator as intended.

Super useful for understanding conversations better, common topics or questions or simply to review calls (already happening in zoom) to improve reps performance Deep sales insights for deal management is less appropriate v.s other tools Now, for training and information tracking purposes is also a great tool since it helps you have in place a repository of calls, comments and more importantly some analytics (not good enough for calls in spanish though). If you use zoom as the main platform for customer and internal calls, is a great bundle offering great user experience and similarity, familiarity of both interfaces

Certainly, Zoom IQ is not software suitable for educational use in universities since it was born as software to facilitate commercial organizations in sales. Therefore, the use we make of it is adaptive to our needs and limited to a few functions. Despite this, as mentioned, it helps us better organise the information that emerges during the calls with our students to respond to their needs.

Zoom IQ certainly adds another layer of insights for semantic optimization wherever conversations are taking place and could directly impact the outcomes; think about research, sales pitches, people experience functions etc. Only limitation so far is that it is limited to English language only and if your conversations are multi-lingual then it is not supported currently.

- Its well suited for any level of organisation and if you have a good budget. The video clarity and processing is good and fast enough if you have a very good system. If you have a very tight budget i would recommend to use a mix of some tools because the cost of Zoom IQ can quickly go up.

It is really solely suited for those who need to make sale calls on a regular basis. The company needs to be big enough to afford the software as well. The employees also have to do a bit of training to fully understand the program and its results and how to improve for the next sales video call.

This platform is best suited if you have a team who might be working on a product launch so as to work on the analysis of the content cadence used for the outreach to prospects and existing customers. Another use case can be when training a new batch of sales reps on existing call transcripts and recommendations generated by the platform.

Zoom IQ is a a great tool for any sales organization to keep improving on the sales delivery through the sales cycle. It may find it's use in almost all kind of sales expect the small sales where ticket size is small and the sales cycle is significantly shorter (fewer touch points.

Zoom IQ has been super helpful for our Sales team to improve their sales pitch calls, their presentation skills and enabled them to close deals much faster than before. The suggestions and feedbacks provided by Zoom IQ did help us get good results. I think this Conversation Intelligence software is much needed for any sales team and esp. if you're already using Zoom for your Sales calls.

Any sales team working remote will benefit from this. It’s hard to train sales remotely over video. Things are missed. This keeps things steady. It’s very sales focused so that is where it’s useful. If your team is growing at a very fast pace this is essential. This has kept us growing and consistent.
