The Norton products, including Norton 360, Norton Antivirus, and Norton Security, are consumer antivirus and privacy protection products, and are now a product line of NortonLifeLock (formerly Symantec) after the enterprise security division of Symantec was acquired and is now part of Broadcom.
First of all, Norton was a much pricier tool and it was like
self-sabotage for us. And if I'll compare it with Avast then Avast is the best
option. Second of all, Norton was quite heavy for some of our systems of
If you've gone all in with Microsoft 365 then Avast Business Antivirus starts to look less useful and at best provides secondary coverage. We made the switch recently as the feature set in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is deeper and can provide a lot more insight across the …
For up to 10 users, Avast Antivirus is best suited for SMB. The well known interface for home users makes the switch to Avast Business Antivirus seamless. I ran a few virus detection scenarios and found that basically all antiviruses out there work as advertised. Known viruses …
The price is very reasonable. Performance is better. It doesn't slow down the PC. Has better configurations. The interface is very user-friendly. I really love it.
I actually have been victimized avast at no cost and it slowed down my entire laptop and it hangs every time I scan the system for threats. This frustration created Pine Tree State to switch to Norton.
I have found Norton doesn’t slow down a computer as Avast antivirus has done. Avast is also not so much pocket-friendly as compared to the Norton, which is available at a very reasonable price which is highly affordable for me. The basic reason to Choose Norton on any other …

We liked the pricing of Norton better. Also, it was more reliable in finding suspicious attachments and phishing emails than Avast was. Lastly, it ran better on our machines. The feedback we got from our pilot testing batch was very positive and that is what made us take the …
If a company is in need of an anti-virus that would help them in saving their data against all kinds of virus attacks then Avast is just a witty option. The utilization of cyberspace is inevitable and it is necessary to make it secure and Avast is a good option. There can be multiple powerful antivirus tools but the price of it is highly suitable and is the cheapest among its competitors.
For a stand-alone business this should do the trick, but if using across multiple clients (multi-tenancy not an option). Default settings within the program will cause performance issues if not tweaked, meaning someone with networking experience may be necessary. Not ideal for MSP's unless they only have a few clients, as the manageability must be done within "the walls" of each company.
Avast Business Antivirus does particularly well detecting any threads in real time in order to it's live scanner that's constantly detecting any changes in your system.
Avast Business Antivirus is very good with your system resources saving you time when you are on demanding tasks that can make your system slow.
Avast Business Antivirus is amazing keeping constantly updated with latest virus and threads definitions that can harm your system keeping it secure all the time.
Alerts - these are handy for sure, but some alerts, when turned on, can flood your Inbox. I'd like to see a more granular approach that sets limits on how many times an alert will be delivered.
Fingerprint access on the mobile app would be awesome.
Aside from that, some of the menu paths are not straightforward. Like the install client creation can only be done from the dashboard (to my knowledge) when it should be done from the policy and/or device pages. Make the interface a little more intuitive.
I did renew it before because support is great and cost is great. I believe that Norton has a very long experience in what they do and they are doing a great job with all the updates they provide and the work they are doing. Moreover Norton is going in the right direction for sure.
I gave this rating because after using this fantastic product. Everything is under my control and also all my databases are secure enough and also quite convenient to be managed. Thus, it’s a really good application in each and every regard that totally supports me in the best way.
We once had an experience of using the AVG AntiVirus Business Edition for eight months and we experienced something surprising that it was not effective and active much as the prices were also too low as compared to Avast Business Antivirus. In short, to explain, Avast Business Antivirus is just [an] amazing antivirus and is working well enough with our organization to protect our systems. From our side, Avast is the best antivirus platform to experience by any organization.
User-friendly interface (it's not just AV and users who were interacting with the product), performance, resource usage (most of the computers were not very fresh and that factor was very critical), efficiency, it shouldn't be just sitting on a PC - it should protect it, what was perfectly done with that product.
Poor performance against Spyware and other threats despite claiming to act against them (recognizes very few and eliminates less) It is limited to viruses.
Regular blocking of incoming scripts (in front of other antivirus)
Little or almost no compatibility with the Windows XP Firewall, but they are involved.
