Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have begun using IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 to replace Google Drive, as I have already exceeded the capacity of the free level. The price and ease of use of IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 meet my needs for backing up my computers. Regarding Object Storage e2, I am gradually transferring my files from my previous cloud provider to it. The price for storage is more affordable, and I am now using Nextcloud to manage my files within IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2.

Pros and Cons

I'm using it on MAC, the app works very well in the background
Logging activities is something I really like, because I can check whether the backup was successful or not.
I really like the option of being able to select external drivers and back up only specific folders or files.
The application itself is very easy to use, even though it doesn't have a version in my language (pt-br), I had no trouble setting it up and I'm using it without any problems.

Return on Investment

in a recent survey IDrive Online Backup was the best online backup platform with the best cost benefit compared to the others surveyed, when I started using it I didn't have any problems with the software available from the company, apart from the problem with the language (not available in Portuguese) I didn't have any difficulty operating it.
The option to pay per year for the amount of space is undoubtedly the best option among those surveyed.
The IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 service has the option of choosing plans by fixed or variable amount of GB and this gives you an advantage when choosing a plan, and the IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 plans in my research to meet my needs were the most cost-effective.

Alternatives Considered

Wasabi Object Storage, Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage and Google Drive

I chose IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 over the others because of the cost of the investment. IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 is much cheaper than Google Drive. IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 was due to its price compared to the others, especially the annual plan, where the price per TB is much cheaper than the others, and the other reason was to centralize my files and costs in a single company, for convenience.

IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 meets my needs for continuous backup of my computers. With the backup scheduling system, all I need is for the computer to be on at the time of the backup, and it will run without any problems.
I use IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 to make backups of my work. I'm a photographer and I like to store my clients' photos for long periods of time, and in this case IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 is the one that best suits me, with a program similar to FTP programs I can send or download my files in a practical and secure way.
