What is Acumatica?
Acumatica delivers a set of cloud-based business software applications with dashboards, reporting tools, integrated document management, centralized security, and customization tools. It is a modular offering and can be deployed in multiple ways to accommodate business needs, either as an ERP or a narrower (and less expensive) accounting solution with the Financial Management Suite. Other modules are the Project Accounting Suite (budgeting, payroll and time sheet, analytics, and other functions), the Distribution Management Suite (purchasing, ordering, inventory tracking, order filling) and the Customer Management Suite (general CRM capabilities). Unlike many ERPs, Acumatica is not industry specific, and touts capabilities of interest to retailers, eCommerce users, even non-profits, and other possible small to medium-sized businesses desiring to automate business processes.

Still New, But Excited for the Future!
I think Acumatica is best as a place to hold all things. I couldn't give it a 10, just due to so many spots still a bit underdeveloped. But it's bones are fantastic for 3rd Party Apps to really focus in their Niches to create seamless and beautiful functionality.

Acumatica - Needs a utility perspective
We use Acumatica for Financials and Purchasing/Warehouse.
We use Acumatica for the Financial Management of our organization. We handle 12 different sets of financial companies within our denominational organization. A custom AR module was created for our churches to remit payments easily. The unlimited number of users that Acumatica offers made this possible for over 1100 churches to log in and make payments.

We use Acumatica for both receiving and shipping. We have approximately 100 active users that currently manage sales and other aspects.

New-ish User
I use ACM for Sales and Marketing. I have found that with the addition of Acumatica, that it has streamlined processes, particularly in the reference to inventory availability as needed for sales. We are still implementing warehouse management systems, and that will further streamline the company and create additional efficiencies.

We provide consulting, implementing, business process optimization, and support services to Acumatica users and possible businesses which are contemplating moving from their legacy systems like QB, Sage 100, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and other 3Gens systems to a new state of the art ERP like Acumatica. Acumatica is designed to solve many different types of business problems. It designed to encapsulate and bring together different financial transactions an operating business has, and also business event/situations that affect relationships with potential and existing customers via a robust CRM module. It's different modules (AR, AP, IC, SO, PO, PR ...) except GL, gives the user the flexibility to use the system as a whole, or use the modules as the business deems fit. It's worth a review...

Flexibility

Always getting better
We converted from an old, end of life ERP with very little functionality. Our Acumatica implementation gave us many new best practices to use in place of our old, outdated processes. We currently only use Financials, AP and AR, but intend to bring as much of our business into the product In the coming years.
We use it to run our entire operation. Sales order, warehouse pick and pack, shipping and distribution, field service.

We use Acumatica as the Ledger of Record at one of our subsidiaries and are mid implementation at TRP. This product replaces a legacy product that was not nearly customizable enough and lacked integration into our manufacturing equipment for reporting purposes
