We used to use Buffer to keep up with social media, but in my opinion, they haven't kept up well at all with their competitors. Since my experience, we have moved on to use other software for this task that is much more suited and kept current. Personally, I am not a fan and would not really recommend this clunky platform to anyone.

Buffer is easy to use, really great for Instagram, and has a lot of great ways to integrate (Canva). I am absolutely in love with the calendar view, seeing all my scheduled posts from all my campaigns in one neat place. I like the publishing capabilities to allow for posting on multiples social media platforms. Anyone can jump in and get started without having a lot of technical knowledge. What I like about this software is the frequent updates that keep you glued to using this software and remaining a loyal user. Buffer also provides actionable reports to improve social media activities.

It is being used by the marketing department. Social media is not a core part of our business, but it helps us post some posts across all 3 channels at the same time, with minimal effort and no copy-pasting.

Once we began posting for more than five clients, it became very difficult to manage all their channels efficiently. A constant social media presence is a must for our industry, but being a one-man marketing department on top of other various responsibilities, it is more practical for me to focus my energy and create social media posts at once and schedule them to be sent out in the next few days. Native post scheduling was only available on Facebook across all the social media sites we use, and even then the functionalities are limited at best. This is where Buffer came in and solved the scheduling problem.

I use Buffer to schedule social media posts for a range of content. I create content on a daily basis, but I normally don't finish it until later in the day (at which point it's too late to post), so Buffer allows me to publish it the next day at the time of my choosing.
