  • Simple UI/easy to use.
  • Extremely easy scheduling.
  • Customizable across different social media platforms.
  • Quick and easy setup. From connection to social platform to posting was seamless.
  • Consistent improvements and updates over time.
  • Role-based access
  • Lots of failed posts, which can be due to the social media platform itself, but at times it was easier just to manually post than to problem solve.
  • Analytics capabilities weren't great. They offered a basic overview, but not much more.
  • Certain, specialized types of posts (carousel images on Instagram, for example) were not supported.
  • Certain hashtags seemingly weren't supported, unless they were on some unknown list

  • In my opinion, it is outdated.
  • In my experience, it can be barely functional at times.
  • I feel like I can do most of this in other software, even free software.

  • Facilitates the sharing of several media formats.
  • Enhances your social media operations.
  • Distribute post across every social media accounts simultaneously.
  • Although I did not find any difficulty using it, yes I think I would like to improve that the maximum no of tasks limited to 10, if we do not have premium membership but it's ok, for that we need to update.
  • Other than that it has been working flawlessly.

  • Buffer allows you to monitor multiple social media accounts and also offers detailed analysis of how your posts are performing.
  • Chrome extension of buffer is really helpful.
  • It also offers best time to schedule your posts.
  • It would be better if it allows monitoring for mentions and polling.
  • The images crashed sometimes when posted via scheduling with Buffer.
  • The paid version is bit costly.

  • Buffer is EASY to use! So easy to use every day and to set up in advance. I do have the paid version, but there's a free version, too.
  • Buffer provides good support if you have any questions/issues.
  • Buffer also has an image tool, Pablo, incorporated into it, so you can very easily pull images, add text if desired, and add them to your social media posts.
  • They took away the optimal timing feature, which I used and found valuable. I was never sure why they completely removed it, but they should bring it back.
  • They took some of the features that were free and put them in the paid version. Granted, it's not terribly expensive ($100/year), but it felt a little like pulling the rug out from under some of the users.
  • Better reporting/analysis would be nice. I see they've added an analysis tool, but it's another $50/month.

  • Allows you to schedule you post on multiple platforms at once.
  • Not only just posting, you can also see the response of the posts on the multiple platforms on a single dashboard...which is actually one of my favourite features.
  • A single dashboard of response helps me a lot to analyse my digital strategies and to make what is actually working and whatnot.
  • Helps to check the engagement level of the posts through which we can analyse and set up new strategies for future perspective.
  • One [improvement] I would say is that I feel is that there is no research-oriented option like I cannot get to know the trending hashtag n other trending searches.
  • It is just for posting and sharing analysis of the post... [It] does not really help [by suggesting] what is trending which can actually help to boost the post organically.

  • Buffer's interface is quite tidy and generates the necessary facilities to save us time in publishing consistent content.
  • It has a special price; it is pretty affordable.
  • It has the possibility of integrating with other tools to improve its functions.
  • There are limitations in its integration with some social networks.
  • It is limited when tagging users in some social channels and making mentions.
  • The mobile app does not have all the features of the web version.

  • Organize multiple clients.
  • Display past activity all in one place.
  • Set reminders and notify team members.
  • Some channels, like Facebook, have better internal posting systems.
  • We've had some issues with specific video files that Buffer does not handle well.
  • Would be nice if some of the useful FB tools would integrate with the platform.

  • Supports most major social media websites such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
  • Supports direct posting for Instagram.
  • Drag-n-drop to change the post orders and schedules.
  • Constantly adding new features. Instagram story posting was releasing for example.
  • Transparency throughout the service, pricing/roadmaps, etc.
  • I like how the composer gave us the option to customize the content by platform after common text is finished. This is useful for hashtags, links, etc.
  • The limit for the amount of photos (4) is lower than the native platforms.

  • If you want to change a post that has been scheduled across a few social platforms, you can't. This is a feature I would like to see updated.
  • Sometimes scrolling down to see what has been scheduled is tedious. I would like to see a calendar view.

  • Buffer has a very small learning curve.
  • Buffer has a series of apps that work with the original app with loads of benefits.
  • Buffer has great UI and UX.
  • The pricing model allows for users to only pay for what they use.
  • Using all of Buffers features, including analytics and community management, can be very expensive for a small business.

  • Looks beautiful.
  • Easy to use without technical background.
  • Regularly updated features.
  • Pricing is compartmentalized for the whole thing or parts that's used like analytics, community management.
  • Instagram isn't supported strongly in the basic plan.
  • Limiting because of the fewer number of platforms like Blogger.
  • All features together is quite expensive.
