CareerBuilder.com has been used by various organizations and staffing agencies for a range of purposes. One staffing agency owner utilized the platform to find talent for their clients, but unfortunately did not receive the expected number of applicants. Similarly, a different company aimed to increase their application flow and find employees for office positions, but faced challenges in achieving their recruitment goals. However, CareerBuilder.com was also used by hiring departments and recruiting teams to advertise open positions and attract potential candidates. It has been employed across organizations as a versatile tool for employment advertising, job posting, and creating talent networks for passive candidates. In addition, CareerBuilder.com has proven beneficial in sourcing potential candidates that are not found in other major job databases, providing valuable additional options for recruiters. While some users have reported drawbacks such as resume quality and unresponsive account management, others have found value in using CareerBuilder.com to gather market data for compensation expectations and candidate availability. Overall, the platform has been utilized by diverse users for resume sourcing throughout the United States and has played a strategic role in reaching out to potential hires for hard-to-fill positions. Despite mixed experiences with the platform's effectiveness in delivering qualified candidates, it has provided an additional resource for locating talent.

Easy Candidate Search: Many users have found the candidate search system to be easy to use, suggesting that it has a user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation. They appreciate how it simplifies the process of finding potential candidates by providing a seamless experience with clear instructions and straightforward steps.

Wide Reach of Candidates: Several reviewers mentioned that the system allows them to access a wide range of candidates across the USA, indicating its extensive reach. This broad coverage increases the chances of finding suitable candidates from various locations, which is especially valuable for companies with multiple branches or remote work opportunities.

Efficient Resume Search Tool: The resume search tool was highly appreciated by users for its efficiency in filtering and finding relevant resumes. It streamlines the recruitment process by allowing recruiters to easily narrow down their search based on specific criteria such as skills, experience, and qualifications. This saves time and effort in reviewing an overwhelming number of resumes manually.

Cons: Service Issues: Some users have reported experiencing issues with the company's services not being rendered. They have repeatedly requested that these issues be addressed and fixed to ensure a smoother user experience. Unhelpful Customer Service: Users have expressed dissatisfaction with the unhelpful and non-responsive nature of the customer service provided by the company. They often struggle to receive timely assistance and resolution for their concerns, leading to frustration and inconvenience. Difficulty in Navigating: The user experience with the company's services has consistently been described as awful due to its challenging and confusing navigation. Users find it difficult to navigate through the platform, hindering their ability to effectively utilize its features and impacting overall satisfaction.

CareerBuilder.com does not come close to measuring up to their competitors. I've been working with PandoLogic and Indeed since I still had to find qualified candidates for my clients and the difference in performance, quality of candidates, and customer service is like night and day! Those platforms outperform CareerBuilder.com on so many levels and actually deliver exactly as promised and their customer service is head and shoulders above CareerBuilder.com!

WizeHire is one of the most amazing systems I've ever seen. I've continued to share their information with many, and my hope is that they take the hiring world by storm! It's easy to use, they obtain great candidates and many. They're very responsive and always there to help. They care about their clients. I strongly recommend them.

CareerBuilder did not meet our needs because of this we stopped using them. We have found Indeed to be the best hiring platform out there, and we have looked at ALL OF THEM. We spent money that did not turn in to new hires, so it was a waste. It appeared like CareerBuilder does not have new or current employees looking for work. So the leads turned out to be junk.

We were sold on CareerBuilder's "exclusive" contract with Google, and the ease of linking our website marketing to the platform. We googled our CareerBuilder job posting, to find them 5 pages deep. When we questioned these results with our account manager, he had no response. We successfully sourced candidates from ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, and Monster over the 5 month period we had the CareerBuilder Service with no success from CareerBuilder.

CareerBuilder.com was one of the first employment advertising that our company has used and we have been using it for about 7 years. Since then, we have tried other employment advertising (Monster.com, Indeed.com, LinkedIn, RecruitMilitary, and ZipRecruiter) and we have continued to use CareerBuilder.com because it links to our HRIS and it is easy to post the job and the leader job since it is linked. I like ZipRecruiter better because it targets the correct candidates and there are prescreening questions on the job posting itself.

CareerBuilder.com is a different animal than LinkedIn Jobs. LinkedIn pulls candidates who are passive, whereas CareerBuilder.com targets more active candidates in the market. LinkedIn has served as a much more viable resource for sourcing higher level candidates, who are not typically found on such resume listing sites as CareerBuilder.com. LinkedIn Jobs also has more flexible options in terms of pricing.

CareerBuilder proved to have more candidates and an easier interface than Monster. However, Indeed has a much higher volume of candidates in their pool and LinkedIn provides many more search parameters and a better platform for reaching out directly to candidates.
