Pros and Cons of Google Jamboard
For collaborating, and organising events internally as well since it is an interactive tool. We have hosted virtual baby showers, graduation ceremonies, and welcomed new members to the team and firm using Google Jamboard. The tool has been really helpful in lending colour to these event, and making them more fun and interactive.

Miro is more user friendly, and interactive as compared to Google Jamboard. Advantages of using jamboard would be that since it's a part of the Google suite, individuals are more comfortable using the tool and tracking changes/updates. Both can be used for collaboration, and brainstorming. Miro holds more features, since we can add emojis, stickers, media content etc.

Share ideas with your peers using just your phone
I have been using Jamboard more since we started to teach online as I found it a very good tool to increase students engagement during the session or as a part of a warm-up exercise when everyone joins in. I tend to ask an open-ended question that is linked to the content I mean to cover to check students initial understanding of the topic. Not so long ago I remember someone using it as a tool supporting discussion between researchers and academics.

- I am not really sure if there is a need to add any more functions

Google Jamboard is a much simpler tool. This is not necessarily a bad thing e.g. if I just want to set up a warm-up exercise for students before we start the session using Miro would be flash over substance. Do not get me wrong, everyone who knows me knows I love Miro but I also appreciate the simplicity and a variety of tools I can use. Another product that TrustRadius does not take into consideration is Padlet or MS Whiteboard. Another argument supporting the choice of Google Jamboard, especially for Google users, is that is kind of part of the package. Non-Google users are also welcome!
Google Jamboard is used for active learning and synchronous engagement during online learning. It solves an important problem of providing an interactive tool for students and faculty to use during a live session, particularly with breakout groups when such tools are [not as] easily deployed to both the entire class or small groups for engagement. While we do not have physical whiteboard support for Jamboard, our faculty use it in virtual classrooms and staff use it during virtual training sessions. We've also used it at virtual conferences to support participant engagement.

- Tools can be a little clunky at times.
- Sticky notes always appear in the same place, requiring participants to move to a different place on the Jamboard in order to see all notes created.
- Unclear who adds what to a Jamboard, so it's hard to evaluate student contributions.
- Easily shared with Google users or anyone with a link.
- Easy to use for collaboration and engagement.
- Displayable in a web conference session with instantaneous updates for active learning.
- Faculty love having an active learning tool that's easy to use in synchronous sessions.
- Not as well known as other Google apps like Docs, Sheets, or Slides.
- Can be used synchronously (for live engagement) or asynchronously (for self-paced learning).
- Easy to miss in the Google Suite or forget it's available to use.
Google Jamboard is part of the Google education suite so it's easily accessible and part of our single sign-on authentication. Padlet is another tool that supports active learning web boards, but it is not easily integrated with our LMS and it's yet another tool to support. We've also heard about Mural.co, but that one seems more complicated to use compared to Google Jamboard. It's also more expensive and we try to maximize the resources we have available.

Peer Collaboration: That's my JAM!
Google Jamboard is an online collaborative space where multiple users can share information and share ideas seamlessly. Users are able to add animations, as well as use visually striking design elements that engage learners and other users. In any business or organization, users can collaborate and bring together ideas and projects in one space without the rigid format of a document or spreadsheet.
