  • The interface is simple and makes sense and the strengths are that it is not a hassle to use.
  • It opens us up to more users that use this product all the time.
  • Cashing out is easy and I have not experienced any difficulties.
  • I have seen people complain about the software from the user perspective, and there may be some issues there, but as a payment platform for accepting payments, I cannot think of any difficulties other than to improve on the user end so that it could garner more additional users.

  • Ease of reimbursing/making payments between employees
  • Ensuring that one person can make a payment up front, rather than delaying things by physically collecting payments
  • Ensuring people can be paid from anywhere when they are not all in the office
  • It would be helpful if Google Pay could sync with things like Apple Pay so that saved payment methods can be automatically imported
  • There are certain times when Google Pay grants offers for cash back at merchants but the transfer time on the cash back is something like 30 days, which is a long time to wait
  • Google Pay could also integrate with other credit card and bank apps to add stored payment methods from there

  • Poor customer service
  • Upgrade is a downgrade
  • Help center doesn’t provide help
  • Frustrating
  • New $5,000 per week limit is a bad business decision and is forcing me elsewhere
  • Help Center should be able to escalate to a supervisor

  • The integration with Google Assistant has been helpful in easily setting reminders to send and/or request payments, especially in setting up repeating reminders for payments that probably could be automatic, but we prefer to review first.
  • Funds are processed quickly, which is so important. Thus far, the funds have almost always been available the very next business day rather than 2, 3, even 4 days later as some platforms do.
  • Google Wallet had a few glitches I was unhappy with, but Google Pay seems to have corrected them. Who knows if the changes were related to the name change or if they just happened to coincide with the timing for the most part, but either way I really don't have any big complaints.
