The GoTo Webinar software/ api is generally good for communication ,upskill and knowledge sharing. The covid period was a good example of how effective a software such as this can be. Allowed multiple uses of comms for webinars with a live chat feature and easy joining security with a simple code. Can launch in browser as well Analytics and reporting wanted by management is robust and as such is very welcomed

I found GoTo Webinar easy to use and operate for webinars with less than ~350 attendees. Any more attendees than that and I ran into issues with recordings, and other occasional glitches. The UX doesn't allow for as much event invite customization as competitors. However, creating an event is extremely easy, making it simple to quickly put together an event invite.

It well suited for me, it is really convenient for people who works in a work from home set up like me that requires to attend meetings, trainings and webinar. The quality of the screen when the speaker is presenting is good and the audio has high quality. I am happy using it.

So GoTo Webinar is mostly well suited at the large audience handling. When there is any event or function to carry on the Team or Node level then GoTo Webinar provides the solution. Sometimes we have used it for training & for Project review meetings. GoTo Webinar only less appropriate to use when there is instant collaboration is required. Also feel slow if you are using it from Mobile

Yes, in IT companies where the workforce is distributed, it is extremely important to stay connected and relevant to daily tasks, knowledge, and work progress. Tools like GoToWebinars are a great choice. Especially for org-wide and portfolio-wide meetings, for example, you need organizers, presenters, and panelists.

This is great for getting a team together and presenting information especially with team members in different areas or time zones. It can be set up relatively quickly for a small meeting or planned well in advance for a larger training session. If you need a more interactive solution, this product maybe isn't the best choice.

GoTo Webinar works very well for scheduling a session for attendees, including confirmations and easy to understand How To directions for attendees who may not be familiar. If the simple directions are followed correctly, then getting everyone connected is easy with very few confused or struggling participants that we need to assist with the setup. We can also easily record the sessions to provide after the live webinar concludes.

When you are going to plan a Webinar and the audience is large then it is a good platform to use. It also can be used just for broadcasting any presentation. I can't see any issue where it doesn't fit. but if planning for something which really matters for the proofs then this might be an wrong decision because its audio breaks frequently and also its sidebar shows black colour on viewer screen

We love the flexibility where we can use the GoTo Webinar landing page and reminder/confirmation emails or use integration with email or marketing automation software for similar purposes.

GoTo is great for when you need to provide a lot of info to a wide audience. They make it easy to collect info from attendees live as the webinar is in progress. However, we regularly experience one issue or another. In a recent webinar, we weren't able to launch the webinar due to it not working well with our VPN. We've used others with no issue, but this resulted in a catastrophic showing for us.

As a webinar participant, I tested many other platforms, such as Zoom, WebEx, Google Meets, Teams, etc. GoTo Webinar is one more platform available that does the job very well and has pretty much the same features as the others. I believe that all these platforms have the same basic features, and GoTo Webinar doesn't stand behind its competitors.

GoTo Webinar excels at hosting webinars ... obviously. It is indeed well-suited and optimized for such events, which means a lot of the extras that Zoom or Teams might have are trimmed to not add a lot of extra features and buttons that might distract the end user, distract them as they attend a Webinar, or confuse them as they try to log on or register.

Presentations where you need to see more than one area for content are very well suited for GoTo Webinar. Also, if you are limited to just one monitor, this is a preferred way of viewing video conferences. It uses screen real estate much better - especially if I don't need to see all the attendees on the conference.

When you’re hosting a webinar with more than 200 attendees, GoTo Webinar is our go-to option. One feature that stands out is the ability to overlay graphics or text on the video feed. This can be particularly useful when you want to highlight key points, display the speaker’s name and title, or add branding elements to your presentation. Overlays can be used to display real-time reactions and comments from the audience.

It is well suited for a mass audience of at least 100 plus. Polling features, audience engagement features, and seamless audio and video are some of the qualities that make the product feel very mature.

It might not be well suited if the company or target audience is small, they could very well use the regular, teams or Skype for Business without paying extra.

It is well suited in a larger customer support organisation. You can easily interact with your customers if they have a complex problem. Also it is nice to have any insight of your support desk, to see which customer has reported incidents at your helpdesk. You only need an internet connection.

It's great for one-time/on-demand meetings and for very standard recurring webinars (e.g. once per week or once per month), but the the number of instances you can schedule at once is so few compared to what we're all used to being able to do in a simple Outlook scheduler. Adding instances to keep a link active is a big pain point, and the screen where you add more future instances doesn't even remember the last month you were scheduling within, or the time of every other webinar, so let's say it is May and I'm now adding instances in November, each time I save one, the calendar brings me back to May and resets my webinar time. It's a little thing, but having to constantly scroll back to the month I was adding to and remembering to update my time again is annoying. I do like being able to customize the look & feel of the registration page per webinar with logos and brand colors because I host webinars for different companies, so it's nice for them to see their own branding. I like the automated reminders and follow-ups. I like that I can include the recordings automatically.
