I think the two are extremely comparable, however, the social listening on sprout is more advanced and they can use your account data from up to two years back. Hootsuite is B Corporation though, which is preferred for our vendors.

Hootsuite lacks many features as i've said before. I think their reporting is also not as great as other platforms. I find the interface really messy and hard to navigate. The metrics also vary a lot between platforms which makes comparing success between channels very difficult for me. Overall, its not the best.

Hootsuite offers more platforms and also more control over any of the competitors we evaluated. For our current business and customer needs, Hootsuite was and is a much better fit. We use the pro level, and right now, it has enough options and features to ensure proper engagement and real time analytics.

Overall, Hootsuite is very similar to Sprout Social. some of the analytics are a little different, but the posting process is similar. Sprout does have a social listening too, but i can't remember how it compares to Hootsuite.

Compared to Hubspot, Hubspot is a all in one CRM/marketing management software. It's nice to have everything in one place and not have to be on multiple software/platforms

It allowed for more post at once and Hootsuite also has tiktok. The app for Linley was not as effective and the webpage was nog as easy to navigate as Hootsuite is. Hootsuite has truly been, and all around better experience than Loomly and I will continue to purchase it, even with the Price increase

Hootsuite is definitely the most cost effective of the bunch for the goals that my clients have. The AI caption generation is also perfect for cutting down on time. Caption creation actually takes up a lot of time in the scheduling process for content and this feature made Hootsuite stand out to me!

Hootsuite's ability to post to all the channels we need is far above what Meltwater offered. Hootsuite also goes above and beyond in the category of analytics too. Hootsuite's custom report is far more detailed and easily digestible than Meltwater's. I would say that Hootsuite is at the top of the list for content management software compared to those I've used previously.

Hootsuite's free account was sufficient for use on behalf of our client. When they restructured their pricing model and eliminated free and affordable subscriptions suitable for a small business, we found that Zoho Social was an excellent replacement. The interface was simpler and the pricing was affordable and suitable for a small business.

Hootsuite is the best of these options, as the layout is better and connection to platforms [is] easier. The free version is pretty good too, but the paid version is even better. Lots of options and just an overall great time using Hootsuite compared to other platforms we have used.

Given the (A) specific, early-stage social media strategy and (B) recommendation from an seasoned social media expert, we choose Hootsuite Directly without any further advanced analyses. For an advanced user, we recommend testing atleast 2-3 more competitors and assessing their data tracking features in depth

We previously used Loomly as a social media publisher, it was convenient but we did not like the interface. Overall we found that we liked Hootsuite as a publisher better. Loomy did offer a feature where you could boost your posts right from your portal which was convenient. But it was not enough to keep us using he platform.

Hootsuite’s free service is most useful to me at this time as social media management does not have a large budget within my business. However, they are no longer offering it at this time which has led me to go to another service. Over the years, Hootsuite has been taking away capabilities of their free plan and now have mixed it completely.

I use Meta Business Suite to schedule posts for Facebook and Instagram as it is free to use and there is no restriction on how many posts can be scheduled. It also shows analytics of how well posts are doing, optimal posting times and who our audience consists. I do like how I can write one post and it will be posted on both platforms simultaneously. Meta Business Suite is more affordable for us as a charity than it would be to pay for Hootsuite pro.
