If an individual or business does not possess a human resource management, human resources information system, or other system that can be used as an applicant tracking system to control and automate the process, I would highly recommend getting one prior to using Indeed Ads (Sponsored Jobs) due to the increased ease caused by both systems working in conjunction with one another.

  • The portal is user friendly however it still requires modification to facilitate a smooth hiring process.

I find this portal effective and productive for Junior level roles where as if we have to attract candidates from top tier colleges then we have very less and passive data

Indeed Adsis great for those “revolving door” positions in a healthcare setting. This platform allows me to provide a continuous flow of applicants to my hiring managers. More than half of the applicants are qualified and respond quickly to requests. This is incredibly beneficial and crucial in healthcare where every person counts.

We recruit and hire year-round so are always actively searching for candidates. Using Indeed Sponsored jobs is our main recruiting tool and we have had good results. We work with our account reps to stay current in job seeker trends and work to make sure we stand out from other companies by sponsoring our positions. Generally, we have 5-7 job postings active at any given time.
  • Keeps us at the top of the list for keyword searches.
  • Customer service is good-our reps are available and responsive to what we need.
  • It was a little confusing for us at setup-would have been good to have a designated rep to help with the setup.
Indeed Sponsored Jobs has been particularly useful for us when we have a high number of positions to fill and want to fill them quickly. It may not be worth the extra cost for us during times when recruiting is not as much of a focus.

  • Communicating to candidates through the system is efficient
  • Indeed generally continues to remove functionality and/or charge more or charge the same amount with fewer features. Case in point: you used to be able to reach out to an unlimited number of candidates that the system matched with your job, but Indeed now limits it to 30 FOR ALL sponsored jobs across your account.
  • Additionally, Indeed only lets you advertise sponsored jobs in your immediate service area, which doesn't help recruiting efforts much when you already have good brand awareness there.
Sponsored jobs aren't great for roles that require a certain amount of certification/education in rural areas. There just isn't a large enough candidate base in those areas to market to locally and Indeed only lets you post sponsored jobs in your immediate service area.

I think that in most markets this is incredibly helpful. We have occasionally had issues with sponsorship not being enough and we've had to employ other methods of recruitment through Indeed, but that's more the market of talent than Indeed's fault. In general, I think it's very useful for all our positions we hire for at our company.

We use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to direct driver applicants to our website to begin the onboarding process. We also use it to fill employee positions in the office.

I use Indeed every single day, several times a day. I along with one other Administrative Assistant are in charge of all Indeed Ads across the country for our company. We place ads, converse back and forth with all applicants and schedule all interviews.

Indeed is the #1 place that people go to when looking for a new position. We found that when we did not have our sponsored ads running, the number of candidates for our open positions drastically decreased. In addition, we have found the Indeed candidates to be likely to be hired.

I use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to recruit, manage, and hire employees on a daily basis.

Since it is pay-per-click, you won’t waste money on applicants who aren’t interested in your job at all and scroll on by. The downside is if someone clicks in and clicks out quickly without reading much or applying, you are out that advertising money with no results. With sponsored postings, you get the ability to for Instant Match where Indeed will match you with candidates that fit what you are looking for. You will also get the ability to invite candidates to apply for your position, and reach more candidates through desktop, mobile, and Job Alert emails.

Indeed made it easy to make changes to our accounts and adjust to new hiring practices. Customer service was direct, polite and effective. Time was not wasted, but a friendly experience was maintained. Overall experience was enjoyable and effective in resolving our issues. As the company recruiter, I use Indeed to gather resumes for our assisted living and behavioral health communities. From the resumes gathered, I then offer initial interviews to candidates who fit our criteria. If a candidate seems to match our needs, then an in-person interview is scheduled.

  • Id like to have a feature that shows me if I've sent a job invitation to a candidate prior.

Using indeed for ongoing job needs is great as the job ad will be there for an extended period of time. The use of Indeed for a quick need-to-hire tomorrow situation has been tough. I have found that it may take a few days to gather good applications.

We use Sponsored Jobs to attract more candidates to our job postings. I use it daily when posting jobs on Indeed and find that sponsored jobs attract more candidates than non sponsored job posts do. Sponsored Jobs helps us alleviate some of the strain from having to constantly recruit and hire for new and previously existing positions.

We use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to promote priority roles within our company based on the locations. It does assist with drawing more visibility to our job opportunities.

We are a childcare staffing agency and use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to find candidates for our nanny and backup childcare positions. We hire throughout New England and are continuously looking for qualified candidates.

In my current position I use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to help with openings that are not receiving enough applicants through the free ad. By using the Indeed Sponsored Jobs it allows our company to reach more candidates and compete with other companies looking to fill those same positions. We use also use Indeed Sponsored Jobs for positions that we are looking to fill in areas that in the past have not received a lot of attention or in general are smaller areas with fewer candidates.

  • We currently use greenhouse as our ATS. I do wish it was easier to sponsor the indeed jobs from our ATS.
In our market Dental Hygienists are extremely hard to find. We started using Indeed Sponsored Jobs for our hygienist positions and immediately received great response from quality candidates. Before we started using Indeed Sponsored Jobs for our hygiene positions we were in a drought. After using this program, we are hiring on average 2 hygienists per week.

We utilize Indeed Sponsored Jobs for both our restaurant concepts, a QSR and full-service, to source candidates for both hourly and salary management positions for the individual locations as well as support center roles. The platform has provided us with the ability to integrate with our ATS, TalentReef, and manage different campaigns at a support center level versus our store managers needing to navigate that process themselves.

  • Easily manage campaigns all in one spot.
  • Ability to review hiring insights for the area that we are recruiting in.
  • The biggest area for improvement that I see is the automatic job collapsing for posts that are coming from the same company, same title but different locations. A lot of our locations are hiring hourly team members and are within 10-15 miles of each other. This issue significantly reduces the number of applicants that we see and makes our lives as recruiters more difficult when we need to try and manage 75 locations across both concepts that are potentially hiring for 2-3 positions at a time.
Indeed works really well for hourly recruiting as well as management recruiting for restaurants. I have not had as many qualified candidates when posting for higher-level support center roles such as a Senior Financial Analyst or an Applications Engineer.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs is used for recruiting candidates at our company. We often don't receive as many applicants as we would like, and the sponsored job ads help with this issue. We use this tool to also invite applicants who maybe haven't applied yet. This allows us to create a larger pool of candidates to choose from in our hiring process.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs helps us recruit the best candidates. We have tried other methods and the results are around 20% of the quality candidates that we get from Indeed. Most applicants use Indeed and even if they don't apply, we can send them an invite to apply, which has worked well for us.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs is great for finding candidates at all levels. We use it for all positions we have available. Indeed Sponsored Jobs helps me control and scale applicant flow with ease, allowing me to focus more on hard to fill markets and/or positions. Proper sponsorship campaigns, coupled with an employees engagement strategy, has allowed me to significantly reduce/all but eliminate our need to use staffing firms to supply temporary workers, as well as reduced the need for employee headhunting services to locate management level positions.

  • More foundational employee training - some Indeed workers are much more knowledgeable than others.
I would recommend Indeed Sponsorship to anyone who is interested in increasing their applicant pipeline and/or decreasing staffing agency spending. I would suggest that to maximize value, organizations need to also focus on their worker satisfaction through employee engagement & a proactive communication strategy.

We have multiple needs in 26 states, over 180+ locations, we need to ensure we have the flow needed to attract and hire the right candidate. Using the sponsored jobs feature has allowed us to be competitive in our markets, and thus far has been a very useful tool for us.
  • Increases Times when YOUR jobs are visible
  • Ensures that you will have solid views of your job
  • Provides the resumes match feature when you are working fast, this is pretty quick to use and invites people to look at your opening.
  • I'd like a refresh button to "re-post" the job and not have 5 steps to close it, and then re-open it.
  • I wish the resume search feature was better set up for searching key terms, it at times doesn't show what we are searching for.
  • With the number of people who consistently apply, I wish they would be flagged and easier to see the notes on what we had on the prior. Currently, we have to click on individual job posts to see what notes we have on them. That at times slows us down.
I'd like more control of the overall account budget. While I know we could change our setup and price each opening accordingly, there are times within our end of the month when the budget isn't 100% met, where it gets used on positions that may not need it. I'd like a priority button that we could turn on to ensure "more" spending occurs on certain higher-needed areas. that we can turn off once we have met what we need...etc.
