We use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to direct driver applicants to our website to begin the onboarding process. We also use it to fill employee positions in the office.

  • Cost is getting exponentially higher.
The Indeed platform is user-friendly and requires little monitoring and effort. I may not recommend it for someone who has a very low budget. It is a bit pricey.

We regularly use Indeed to find Independent contractor drivers. We also use Indeed on occasion for employee positions in the office.
I regularly interact with Jaida Burke and Jessica Tallman. They are both super helpful. I've never had a question or concern that wasn't addressed almost immediately. They are also very proactive in reaching out to me.
We used to use Appcast and now use JobCase, in addition to Indeed. I didn't see JobCase on the list. These resources don't really compete against Indeed as they are an aggregate that posts on sources other than Indeed. They work well with Indeed for more coverage. I do find that while I get fewer applicants from them, the price is much cheaper per applicant than Indeed.

It will totally vary based on the position. We use Indeed for our independent contractor driving jobs more than anything. They work as much or as little as they want, so it could literally vary from $6 to $1000 weekly. Most of our entry-level employee jobs start between $12-$15 per hour. Other jobs will depend on the position and experience.
They continue to improve their platform. Although sometimes adding more functions can decrease usability, Indeed is very good at adding definitions and information in a very user-friendly way. You are truly able to customize your service and job ads in a way that benefits you and your company. You also have complete control over your ad and your budget.

I use Indeed every single day, several times a day. I along with one other Administrative Assistant are in charge of all Indeed Ads across the country for our company. We place ads, converse back and forth with all applicants and schedule all interviews.

  • I don't like the new set up for typing messages to the applicants, the screen is too small and I can't see what I sent to them previously. Too much clicking to make the window larger or smaller and scrolling to see what was said previously.
  • When I am trying to schedule an interview and I click on Set Up Interview a new window pops up and completely covers the whole screen so you can't see who you were talking to and what day and time they asked for.

Indeed is the #1 place that people go to when looking for a new position. We found that when we did not have our sponsored ads running, the number of candidates for our open positions drastically decreased. In addition, we have found the Indeed candidates to be likely to be hired.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs allows our company to set aside a specific budget for select jobs that need that additional push to find candidates. Indeed is the site where everyone is looking, so to have your jobs pushed to the top really works.

I use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to recruit, manage, and hire employees on a daily basis.

  • Being able to go back and undo a step check mark if you accidentally clicked it.
Since it is pay-per-click, you won’t waste money on applicants who aren’t interested in your job at all and scroll on by. The downside is if someone clicks in and clicks out quickly without reading much or applying, you are out that advertising money with no results. With sponsored postings, you get the ability to for Instant Match where Indeed will match you with candidates that fit what you are looking for. You will also get the ability to invite candidates to apply for your position, and reach more candidates through desktop, mobile, and Job Alert emails.

Very easy to navigate, and if you need help the account managers are always available to help! I like the overall feel of the dashboard, things are laid out in a uniform manner helping to keep candidates in order. I also very much enjoy the messaging feature so that you can speak to candidates easily without having to go thru email.
