What is Influitive?

Influitive allows companies to build a community and invite customers to complete challenges, referrals, product reviews, social media posts, and more. As community members complete these personalized challenges—which can be targeted to groups or individuals—they automatically earn points, badges, and levels to redeem professional perks and privileges. Influitive aims to enable businesses to easily visualize and report on all activities completed and the ROI of those activities, while integrating with the user's CRM and marketing automation platform to guide members through the entire customer journey.

The Influitive family also includes Upshot, which is designed to allow users to produce ungated customer stories easily.

My company has been using Influitive for the past two years to manage our customer advocacy program. It helps us provide a centralized place for our customer advocates to go to see our latest educational content, marketing content, community discussions, and advocacy opportunities. They receive points for everything they do and redeem those points for rewards like swag or a product certification. We reluctantly renewed for a third year; however, we are looking at other vendors for 2025.

Influitive is critical to our day to day customer advocacy efforts and business goals. We primarily use our community as a means of rewarding our customers for trusting us to partner with their business, to recognise the actions they take to advocate for us and their engagement outside of the community as well, be that attending events, webinars or being active in our technical community. We also use the community to source a number of different advocacy initiatives that we have in marketing. This includes: Peer Reviews, Customer References (which we use Influitive to drive), customer referrals, social media sharing. We also use the hub as a place to source customer stories, videos and testimonials to drive user generated content and give it a place to live, so that prospects and customers can consume and share it to learn and understand how their peers use our products.

Our Influitive hub allows us to crowd-source topics for future content and create CABs and beta testing groups using daily users, as well as generate social proof and influence 3rd party reviews which supports new sales and renewals.

Our organizational goals are about elevating the voice of the customer and being a customer centric business. It can be hard to do that without a direct line to the customer. Influitive is that direct line. This platform helps us create engaging content that keeps customers coming back. We also have the ability to create our own journey for customers whether we asking for online reviews, connecting with customers to participate in early access projects, reaching out to experts to help us identify gaps in solutions we have the autonomy to create and engaging, gamefied journey. My CSM, Brent is always willing to help and support my crazy ideas. I am in the process of re-imagining what our community looks like and how to navigate to better support our customers and the Influitive team has been supportive and collaborative as I work through my vision of change. I can't say enough about Influitive. It is a great way to Discover, Nurture and Mobilize advocates all while building trust and a partnership that helps everyone win.

We use Influitive as a customer-facing community resource for Prophix customers that supports collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engagement among like-minded users. Its purpose is to strengthen adoption, nurture cross/upsell opportunities, mobilize acts of advocacy and strengthen retention. It also offers a gamified experience. We have been using Influitive for the past 5 years and it has been a gamechanger for our overall loyalty and advocacy program. The platform is very user friendly and also has all the functionality which we need to engage with our customers and create meaningful impact on the business. Our efforts in generating peer reviews, both on G2 and elsewhere, as well as gathering product feedback, driving event registration, amplifying our social channels, and developing a reference group have resulted in significant success. Additionally, these efforts have helped us to strengthen our relationships with our customers. We use Influitive as a VIP advocate community to nurture, reward and lean in to our customers to provide insights we can then provide back to our marketing, product and research teams for various purposes. We primarily use our "hub" as a professional development perk for our paid advocates in our two primary customer groups. These "ambassadors" assist us with a variety of activity and give us valuable insights. In turn, our goal is to retain these high value customer by regularly providing access to free and early resources that make their jobs easier, plus opportunities for them to connect with like-minded folks in their industry across the country to share tips and tricks. Through this community, we always have a quick way to source testimonials, quick insights and hand-raisers for focus groups/events/speakers. We're also able to provide a business case to senior leadership that long-term investment in retention tactics have ROI value.

We're typically fielding requests throughout the organization for customer participation (i.e. case studies, quotes, reviews, feedback, etc.). Influitive helps us do this at scale with our engaged pre-set advocates list. We use Influitive for our advocate hub. This allows us to give visibility to our advocates for all the activities they do for us. Before Influitive, we had no way for our advocates to self-service and track how many points and what activity they were doing for us. It also helped bring a sense of community to our advocates. This is a platform where they control how much they engage with us and their peers.
