When it comes to collection systems, my mantra is simple. The best system out there is the one you are on. I developed that statement shortly after moving to Latitude by Genesys in 2008. I've been on half a dozen other collection systems in the past, and none of them compare to Latitude by Genesys. Their ancillary tools such as Exchange and Account Analysis make life easy. I've often said that Latitude's Account Analysis tool (AA) is the most powerful tool in the industry because it allows "non-programmer" people (like me) to build queries and reports in a literal matter of minutes, and once it is built, it stays built for future use and/or modification. I have a lot of great things to say about Latitude, but I won't ramble.

  • Very user friendly. Lot's of drop down's and point and click features.
  • In the past, their support has been slow. This has improved dramatically.
  • They don't take every one of my ideas and pump it into base code IMMEDIATELY!!
I think that Latitude by Genesys is well suited for nearly any size company in that it is very scalable, with broad usage capabilities. I have heard in the past that attorney firms don't look at it, but I wholeheartedly think this would be an incredible software for attorneys too.

I will not identify the other products I've used by name, but will say they are prevalent in the industry. Latitude has a better price point, is incredibly versatile, and you don't need an army of programmers to maintain it.

As a 27 year receivables industry veteran I have had the opportunity to work with many of the leading ARM software. My first exposure to Latitude was 11 years ago at a law firm. I immediately could identify the significant benefits and value add the software provided over other leading collection software. This is by far one of the most flexible platforms with significant automation capabilities.

  • Automation - ease of reducing overhead with staff
  • Workflow - account "cradle to grave" management
  • Customer Satisfaction - highly focused team on delivering the best experience to all customers
  • Customer Advisory Board - team made up of leading industry experts that are end users of the product to provide invaluable insight to the future direction of the product
  • Consulting Partners - various consulting partners, including my company, are engaged to assist with any client needs, development or temporary development staff augmentation. Many partners with 20+ years experience in the industry.
  • Compliance Functions - (currently being developed)
  • Omni Channel Communications - (currently being developed)
As a consulting company specializing in the support of Latitude by Genesys customers, I have first hand experience seeing all of the benefits to my customers of this platform. The ease of powerful interfaces, highly organized GUI based workflows, simple import/export automation as well as a host of integrated vendors makes this the platform of choice for me and my company. Prior to starting my consulting company I was an end user of Latitude by Genesys for 3 years and had the distinct opportunity to work with a top notch implementation team.
  • Latitude by Genesys has allowed me to operate a small, nimble and highly efficient team of consultants.
Base on cost of initial investment, ongoing support and efficient development capabilities (i.e. import/export interfaces, workflows, etc.) this platform is leaps and bounds ahead of all the other major platforms I have worked with. Some of the others I worked with for as many as 12 years before experiencing the power of Latitude.

We use Latitude across the whole organization to maintain our client’s database. We produce invoices, reports and we update records daily. We would like to accommodate Latitude more with our UGC platform.
  • Payments plans management

  • The system is user friendly
  • Integrating Latitude with Microsoft Office would be good.
  • It would be good if the system allows the user to create more fields. The system does not allow users to create customs fields. Users only are allowed to use the fields that the system has. We use another platform that allows users to create additional fields to put more data in.
In my business, the system fits well. We are a collection agency, and for us, keeping our data in Latitude helps us a lot. We can produce reports, manage our payments plan, produce productivity reports, and know what happens in our operation basically in real-time. Latitude allows our employees to work remotely which is something very important these days.

  • It helps our users to produce invoices and handling payment plans in a very efficient way.
They have an excellent support team. It was more helpful if they were available by phone, but your ticket system support works good. The Logmein123 is an outstanding tool that helps us a lot when we need support.
From our perspective, it would be good having a UGC tool integrated with the system.

CCI is a collection agency. We use the Latitude collection platform as our collection system of record. It is the only collection platform used by our call centers. It allows us to manage the flow of accounts from placement to end-of-life, maintain records of every action taken on an account, process files sent to us by our clients, create files to send to our clients, and analyze collection results.
  • The only thing done well, as it relates to Latitude, is the people at the support desk. They are amazing and work well with the tools they have. In my experience with Genesys, this is all that is done well.
  • Everywhere. You do not have one Latitude customer that is satisfied with the level of service received from Genesys. We thought Interactive Intelligence was bad. Genesys has taken it down to a lower level.
  • Genesys needs to commit to either selling Latitude to a company that wants to provide the upgrades and support it needs, or update its level of support on the product. The product is dying thanks to the negligence from Interactive Intelligence and Genesys.
I am 14 years on Latitude. Until recently, I would not use any other collection platform. Now, I would not take it for free. Since the platform was sold to Interactive Intelligence, and then Genesys, the Latitude users have been ever more made to feel like we are unwanted. Something needs to be done here.
