I use Meta Business Suite to boost Instagram posts to a wider audience and drive sales.
  • Reaches a greater audience
  • In my opinion, account setup is disastrously difficult
  • I find the interface is buggy, clunky, unintuitive, and nearly impossible to use
  • I feel like support is non-existent
  • It feels like half of the features are broken
  • I believe the mobile version is so poorly designed, that it is completely unusable
  • In my experience, account recovery is half broken with instantly expired text codes, 90% of which never arrive
  • I feel like many features missing or inaccessible
In my opinion, it has the worst interface I've ever had the misfortune of having to use in years. It feels almost impossible to set the account up to start with, and in my experience, once you're in, pretty much nothing works as the features are almost all broken, the help files are useless, and support is non-existent.

I use Meta a lot to schedule out posts, to upload videos so they can either be shared or premiered, to promote my computer training services, and to keep abreast on any updates the company has. Though it took a little time to adjust with the updates, I can with a better flow locate functions and different categories in Meta for Business.
  • Schedule out posts and videos.
  • Able to currently create reels.
  • As I learn it, set up the business Facebook Shop.
  • Troubleshooting ad issues.
  • Announce ahead of time when updates will happen.
  • Have standards all across the board instead of favoring some and having different rules for others.
Meta for Business has made a lot of improvements, but a lot of work still needs to be done as far as troubleshooting. I've had ad issues for months. It's probably getting close to a year. Every time I've submitted troubleshooting tickets, they're either slow to respond or don't respond at all. More than five times I've asked for help with getting the ad issues resolved. This included an online meeting (quite a first), emailing them, and even chatting with them. I went as far as multiple submissions of the materials they requested; I'm still at square one.

It was used by one of our clients as their main communication platform with their customers. We implemented a chatbot that works in several pages of our client managed by Facebook for business. With it, they were able to review and administrate the received messages; especially in the cases where the bot was not able to solve the customer's problem
  • Aggregates all of your Meta-related applications (Facebook, Instagram, etc)
  • their documentation is terrible
  • their support is terrible
  • Their layout is confusing and you do not know information about it
This is one of the cases where you need to use this product if you have Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp or other related Meta service associated to your business and you want to manage it in a business level. There is no alternative so there is no way to recommend a different system. However, the system is not ideal and their support is terrible

Facebook for Business has many powerful tools included in Business Manager. The business manager has improved a lot and its navigation between the ads manager, pages manager, and business manager settings over time. I've gained a lot of benefits and It's fairly user-friendly once everything is set up, and chat support is usually very quick.
  • Facebook for Business is a centralized platform for all of your company's needs.
  • Facebook for Business provides a secure environment in which to grow our company.
  • Facebook for Business communication between customers is easy.
  • Absence of traffic except if you're utilizing paid promotions
  • The duplication/redundancy of things
  • The lack of customer support
The best thing about Facebook Business Administrator is that you can oversee pretty much every part of the advanced showcasing for your business there. It is viable with numerous stages, so you can have everything associated, your site, inventory, WhatsApp, Instagram, and that's just the beginning. It makes it simple to contact your crowd by blending your site guests in with your online media adherents and helping with the transformation.

Facebook is an important marketing tool, and Facebook for Business allows our firm to manage not only our own information but that of our clients as well. This is a critical function for us and a tool that we utilize on a daily basis as we develop campaigns, ad spends, organic content and more.
  • Managing multiple companies.
  • Ad campaign setup.
  • Better user interface.
  • More streamlined usage.
While there are other platforms out there that will allow you to manage all your social accounts, there is still something useful with using the Facebook for Business software. It is a good tool for everything you do on Facebook, which is important when placing ads, especially in addition to the organic content. Additionally, because clients still control their account and share access, it gives our firm flexibility to manage multiple accounts.

We use Facebook business in conjunction with our main webpage. It has largely helpful in reaching a broader audience. It’s used across the organization and it was been an excellent tool for advertising, collecting fundraising and sending notices to followers. Much of our support Telus on networking which it does very well.
  • Online auctions
  • Networking
  • Sending important notices to followers
  • It’s free!
  • Should advertise how to make it useful for non-profits.
  • Allow updates from website.
  • Easier to communicate with website.
We modified one of our fundraisers to be hosted through Facebook which went way better than we all thought. I think it was because of the audience we were trying to reach and most everyone used Facebook to stay connected and share the news. We ended up raising about the same amount with nearly a fraction of the prep work

Like many other companies, we have used Facebook for Business as a way to manage targeted advertising campaigns. We used the product in the marketing department. Typically we would orchestrate Facebook advertising along with other forms of marketing as a way to stay in front of prospective customers. We have used both video and image based advertising.
  • Demographic based targeting
  • Reaching people in their leisure time
  • Brand recognizability
  • Not great for b2b
  • I question how many clicks are accidental or bot
  • Cost
I believe that Facebook for Business can be used as a brand building tool and for very specific scenarios in which a Facebook audience might be interested. My particular background is B2B and I don't believe that Facebook - or any social media platform really - is that effective of a marketing tool. I believe it requires a certain type of product because most individuals do not want to think about work while they are browsing Facebook. If you can find a way to be engaging and bring joy, then maybe you can find success but it has been difficult for all of the organizations I have seen attempt it.

We're pretty active on Facebook through both organic posting and social ads. We use Facebook for Business for both. Facebook's newer tool for businesses, Creator Studio, is so helpful for organic posting. We use it for Facebook and Instagram. It's great for scheduling posts, posting IGTVs, etc. We also use Facebook's A/B testing tools, to create mock up of ads, etc.
  • Creator Studio is a great tool for scheduling and tracking analytics
  • Helpful when you manage multiple accounts
  • Targeting to a specific audience
  • It's always changing - can be hard to keep up with everything
  • Ad Manager is decently confusing
  • It's not always clear why ads aren't approved
Facebook for Business is necessary if your business has a Facebook or Instagram page -- so almost always. To effectively market on either, you need to use Facebook for Business. It makes organizing your content easy, plus it has great insights to see how you can improve your marketing. Facebook for Business is also great at promoting specific events.

Facebook is less helpful for B2B companies.

We manage $2-3M a month in ad spend through Facebook Business Manager. It's been the best performing acquisition channel for our Ecomm business. It is mostly used by the digital team.
  • Social Media Insights
  • Ad Reporting & Optimization
  • Ads Insights and Targeting
  • Ads Access for Influencer Accounts
  • More creative tools at the ad level for reformatting videos or graphics
  • More audience insights - pyschographic or behavioral
  • Better automated rules for ads management
There is not better place for online advertising, they have a powerful algorithm for conversion optimization and competitively priced ad inventory than you'll find anywhere else. We haven't been able to find a platform with better ROAS and scale to date.

We use it to manage our Facebook and Instagram profiles, as well as our Facebook ad accounts. Only our social media team uses it. It's nice in that it streamlines our workflow when managing many different profiles. It also allows us to see everything at a glance and easily manage user permissions.
  • It is great for managing user permissions. We obviously don't want every team member to have admin access to the pages and ad accounts that we manage.
  • It streamlines our workflow by pulling all the various profiles and ad accounts into a single dashboard.
  • We're able to manage Facebook pages without distractions.
  • The interface takes some getting used to. It is not always intuitive.
  • It can be a bit buggy, but it has certainly improved over time.
It really just depends on your use case. If you are a business and want to run ads on Facebook then you'll definitely want to use Facebook Business Manager. If you are in charge of managing multiple Facebook pages for your company, then again, you'll want to use this tool. If you only have a personal Facebook profile or you just have a small Facebook page representing your personal blog or something like that, then you don't necessarily need Facebook Business Manager.

We have a Facebook page that represents the business. Facebook Advertising has been the primary method we use for advertising our products and driving traffic to our website.
  • When using the advertising service you have access to probably the largest audience in the world. You are then able to refine this audience based on your target market.
  • You have access to analytics of your audiences and your business performance.
  • There have been incidents where our business advertising account was disabled for "not following advertising policies." It has been difficult to receive feedback on why this happens. There is no chat support for South Africa that I'm aware of to resolve such issues.
It is a must-have for any business. When I do a background check on a company I first check if they have a Facebook page and that makes them trustworthy.

Facebook for Business is being mostly used by the Marketing and Growth teams as it helps to reach our existing and potential new customers. It is also used by the Analytics team, as well as the top-level management, as it shares a lot of powerful analytics and insights across multiple user demographic/interest cuts.
  • Analytics - Comprehensive and intuitive UI.
  • Marketing, ads, creative, copy monitoring.
  • While its desktop web UI is good, it needs some work on mobile web/app.
  • The insights are there for paid ads, however, it should include for organic traffic too.
It's well suited for startups, small to medium businesses, individual marketers, etc. It is also good for basic business analytics people. For larger corporations and enterprises, who need custom ad management and reporting, who spend across multiple paid ad channels, then Facebook for Business might not be the best choice.

Facebook for Business is a must-use tool for anyone looking to grow their clientele. As you grow it gives you a vast amount of information that helps you learn about who your marketing to, who your customers are, and who your competitors are. Facebook for Business is the future for anyone looking to target specific clients as well. Using ads, retargeting, and being able to sell all on the same platform make this an incredible tool. I have also been able to use Facebook for Business to consult other companies and build my own company helping others get the most from it. I highly recommend learning this tool. I sincerely believe it can be the difference between getting by and massive success.
  • Audience insights.
  • Ads management.
  • Understanding tracking.
  • Barrier to learning the tool.
I think Facebook for Business is suited for all types of businesses. Anyone who is trying to create or grow a customer list, leads, or anyone who is trying to market or sell a product. This tool taps into Facebook's users and the information they have shared. It is a precision tool if you need it to be or a broader one if you need that as well. I wouldn't really recommend Facebook for Business for anyone who isn't willing to spend the time or money to get to know it. I say that because the more you get to know it, the more it can affect the growth you're looking to attain. Putting in the time is an important part of this tool.

Facebook for Business is used by me both as a tool for my own company to advertise (both on Facebook and Instagram) and as a tool for customers and clients. Access and usage of it also allow me to push third-party vendors to use the tool on my behalf in more powerful ways. It is the tool that executes paid social. It's a must — best tool among the social platforms.
  • Paid social delivery on Facebook
  • Paid social delivery on Instagram
  • Many options, serving many masters, so somewhat challenging UX
  • Ever-changing capabilities means ever-changing system
Organic social is only so powerful. If you want to get your messages seen beyond people who follow you or even beyond just the 10 percent of those who do that, the algorithms allow seeing your postings, you need to use this tool. It's also great when audience data sharing is involved.

We use it to have an additional presence for our business online. We publish posts for people to engage with and encourage likes and follows. We also post events that encourage people to share and invite new customers. It allows us to reach a lot of people directly in a way that our website does not and we can engage personally with potential customers and students.
  • Allows us to reach customers on Facebook.
  • Targeted ads to reach a specific demographic.
  • Business categories could be increased and enhanced to represent a wider variety of businesses (especially for those of us with more unusual business types).
  • Targeted advertising could be more specific to audiences with specific interests related to our business.
Facebook Business is excellent if a lot of your customers are on Facebook! It is also very useful if you are a regular Facebook user yourself because it makes it very easy to connect and communicate directly with customers and potential customers without connecting to your personal Facebook page. We like to cross-post posts and events into groups, for example, to reach a wider range of people. I'm able to see in real-time when people engage with our posts and respond to them quickly because I am so often on Facebook. If you are not a regular Facebook user it could possibly be detrimental as people expect quick responses on such a platform and a slow response time could possibly hurt your business, depending on what it is you do. Facebook for Business is great for avid Facebook users who are available to regularly engage with their audience

Facebook for Business is what we use to organize our posts across many pages we are in charge of. It is primarily used by the social and audience teams to look at the best performing posts, but not exclusively by those teams. We also post videos natively and can crosspost them to other pages and partners.
  • Overview of Facebook posts
  • Crossposting to other pages
  • Cluttered display
  • Occasionally insights doesn’t load
Facebook for Business is good to keep up with what posts have gone out and allows us to switch between Facebook pages and give an overview of engagement, likes, and other data. We can see what posts are doing exceptionally well without real-time analysis. We can schedule posts and videos easily through it, as well as reorganize scheduled posts and tweak them. Business could be better by organizing the tabs, so they’re not quite so cluttered. Also, if you have scheduled a post, you can’t reschedule a time unless you revert the post to draft, which seems a bit backward.

Facebook for Business is being used across all social media teams to conduct all advertiser's campaigns.
  • Good UI experience.
  • Good bulk tool.
  • Bugs in the platform.
  • Drafts won't publish.
It is crucial to use FB for Business when working at a social media agency, as we conduct all of our business for clients active on FB/IG. Smaller clients may not need to use the Ads Manager functionality if they have small buys.

Facebook for Business allows me to keep track of access to client advertiser accounts, business pages and profiles, eCommerce product catalogs, pixels, and custom audiences, along with managing permissions for various internal users and clients as they come and go. There are plenty of users but they all need different access depending on what they will be focused on, so Facebook for Business mostly helps to manage this aspect.
  • Manage user permissions.
  • Collect audience information.
  • Support.
  • Authentication.
Facebook for Business is a must-have in today's digital marketing industry. If you are managing Facebook pages or Facebook ads for yourself or any clients, you must use Facebook for Business to manage user permissions, billing agreements, and advertising accounts. Facebook for Business is free but requires experience to use it effectively.

We use Facebook for Business to manage our 100+ locations across the country and to manage our advertising campaigns through Facebook. The Stores feature it easy to add new and maintain the accuracy of the data for each of our locations through one central admin tool. Before, we had standalone pages for each location, and managing them was a nightmare.
  • Easy to manage multiple locations
  • Robust feature set
  • The admin area is overhauled too frequently and forces users to relearn how to do things continually.
  • Support provided isn't great and requires a lot of re-explaining.
The interface feels overly complicated for what it does. Facebook for Business constantly changes the interface; it makes it difficult to use video tutorials as a guide because the videos are quickly outdated. We find that Facebook for Business helps us manage our ads and keeping our 100+ location Pages up to date.

We use Facebook for Business to run ads and for our own Facebook Business page. This helps us not only communicate and keep our existing customers up to date, but to also reach new customers very easily and quickly.
  • Audience insights.
  • Easy creation of ads.
  • Allow more specific target audience interests.
  • Better app integration.
Facebook for Business is really a no-brainier essential for any business with a strong or primary online presence. Email newsletters seem to slowly be a thing of the past. Everyone is scrolling on Facebook and for them to see your business posts in their feed opens you up to a sea of new potential customers. And exiting/current customers will never miss your updates, news and announcements.

I use Facebook for Business to market my digital marketing company. I also use it to market my clients' local businesses. It makes it super easy to keep every Facebook ad in one place. The user interface is very easy to use and it is relatively easy to teach other people how to use the software and run their own ads.
  • Allows all ads to be shown in one location.
  • Allows you to select the exact demographics.
  • The interface can use an update.
  • The training for it can be confusing.
I like its ability to target multiple different demographics at the touch of a few buttons, while putting different types of creative ads in front of different people to gauge what the audience likes. I also liked the ability to edit the ads as they were in play, which meant you could assess how changes were received more quickly than having to wait for feedback through other measures.

We are using Facebook for Business across our entire organization and as representative of our entire organization. We use it as a marketing and recruitment tool and as an additional channel with which to engage our alumni, grandparents, staff, and current families.
  • Targeted ads.
  • Event promotion.
  • Vetting ads.
  • Targeting audiences and delivering metrics.
Facebook for Business is well-suited if you’d like to cast a wider net for general advertising. If you are looking to create lookalike audiences and profiles and target to those constituencies that fall into niche categories, Facebook is less suited.

Facebook for Business is being used solely by our nonprofit's communications and marketing department to help promote awareness of our organization and disease state and get through the large amount of ads and posts on FB to a targeted audience suitable for our org's mission.
  • Multiple options for visual displays.
  • Analytics dashboard.
  • Easier ways to filter reporting on any metric needed.
  • Customer support.
Facebook for Business paid ads come in handy when you are trying to target a specific audience or multiple audiences and you want to make sure your promoted post/ad is seen by the most people in the most appropriate way. However, you have to be willing to spend the necessary budget over an extended period of time (they are now saying 7-plus days) to get the most bang for your buck.

We use Facebook for Business to run advertisements to our company page, and it has helped us grow the page significantly in terms of likes and follows. It also helps our brand get the exposure it needs without putting in the days and the hours of work to be able to reach out to our targeted audience.

  • Target specific people that would be interested in your brand.
  • The user interface can use some improvements to be more "user friendly."
  • The mobile application can use some rework to be more fluid and responsive.

As an advertising agency, we use it for purchasing Facebook & Instagram ads on behalf of our clients. KPI's currently include awareness, purchases (conversions) and driving site traffic. Additionally, we've been experimenting with the new attribution system as well as targeting using first party data pushed from LiveRamp. Overall, I'd describe us as an "average" business user.
  • Audience retargeting - Great for retargeting fans of pages or audiences collected via pixel.
  • Reporting - Lots of options & granularity.
  • Constant updates and interface changes constantly hamstring productivity.
  • Documentation, while thorough, can be quite confusing and/or overwhelming.
Facebook is great if you want to capture the "Facebook" audience. If you're targeting the older demos, Facebook should be your platform of choice. We use it a lot for targeting moms, specifically for some conversion-based campaigns with tremendous amounts of success. I find it's great for general awareness campaigns and driving traffic as well. I also would recommend if you're only going to focus on one platform since it has reach and is mostly self-contained.
