It has allowed just that - teams in many locations to collaborate effectively in a virtual setting. We once had to travel larger groups of people in different countries if we wanted a true whiteboarding session with multiple players, while we acknowledge that is the best case scenario, Miro has given us a way to facilitate and collaborate virtually like no other tool has been able.

Miro is our IT-approved collaborative whiteboard application which is great because everyone in the company can use it. In the past, we had other tools that were more patchworky, but because this is an enterprise-wide application, everyone can use it. That's a game changer.

We are all remote, so using Miro on a typical Webex session is part of our daily life. Oftentimes I'll be explaining something, then open a Miro board just to put my thoughts on screen and show the individuals I'm working with how I'm thinking. Its amazing how simple it is to explain when you provide visuals.

Miro has greatly helped collaboration on new projects since our company has people spanning across all 4 time zones in North America for most projects my team works on. We also have global colleagues across virtually all continents - so if I needed to bring in those folks to brainstorm it would be very helpful - so far I've only used it to cover people across NA. It has helped us mind-map our problems and brainstorm solutions and new processes as well as help us get projects off the ground by figuring out what content to start with and how to initiate liftoff.

We constantly use the sticky notes features and then start to organize things into tables and mindmaps across many functional groups for new initiatives.

My company works one hundred percent remotely and Miro enables us to collaborate easily in projects from various regions in the country, either performing discovery and alignment ceremonies or building conversational flows in groups, leaving comments for each other, thus collaborating also asynchronously with the team. Resources such as templates, stickers and emojis make our communication more direct, but still warm, and we are able to express ourselves very easily.

Miro has been great for collaboration. You can have multiple users on the same board and have all updates show in real time. As a remote worker it has been key for working on projects with my coworkers. We have also been able to use it across departments for collaborative projects which has been great!

Absolutely! With many of our colleagues remote, Miro has made it easy to collaborate despite spanning across different time zone and having a myriad of work schedules that don't always allow for us to host a meeting where everyone can attend. It keeps everyone up to date on the project(s)!

Collab works, but it requires repeated 10m of Miro training before getting into a real collab session. I try to present, facilitate and curate content when it makes sense. What I mean is that if I feel like it will still work, I just present and take notes for the audience--for example, in a small retrospective.

Already mentioned - allows our design team on the East Coast to have brainstorms bi-weekly with the West Coast design team. It allows us to remotely collaborate on kick-off workshops across the world.

As stated before, this is a huge reason we continue to use Miro. We have multiple team members who are 100% remote and are going to stay that way. It gives them visibility to the board even if we have people working together in the office. It also allows team members to go in and see if there are any changes that have been made throughout the day or week.

Miro’s online whiteboard has greatly improved our organization’s ability to collaborate by providing a platform and foundation to track new hires, visibility for onboarding issues and/or deficiencies, and has given us the information to know when and where we can implement specific improvements individually and collectively before, during and after the training process.

Easy collaboration by sharing the whiteboard. Having a visual thing ready on screen helps in delivering the message across.

The collaborative model is also very good and help all the member to contribute at the same time.

Sprint planning meetings are also more interactive when using Miro and has saved some time in back and forth offline

It has definitely helped us in terms of remote collaboration! We were introduced to it by consultants we worked with and have been steadily using it ever since. We are better able, as a team, to understand systems, ideas, and information by putting it on Miro. Miro is really the jumping off point for most projects

I work in a fully hybrid capacity. Most all of my team members all across the US & Canada. i have often directed them to my Miro board for ease of visibility into my work status and projects. i have also had other employees share their boards with me for similar functions and it has reduced the need to reach out for small updates. i can easily access in real time what theyve been working on.

Massively - looking back, not sure how we would have coped through Covid without something like Miro as a tool for collaboration between disparate teams - especially when developing and running workshops, ideating, brainstorming, quickly sketching concepts, mapping user journeys, analysing a range of different information sources etc.

Miro feels much more flexible than other whiteboard-like products or collaboration tools. Being able to plot things out on a seemingly infinite sized canvas, without being overly constrained in formats, and being able to zoom in and zoom out to specific areas is very useful in being able to conceptualise a whole project, and where specific aspects of the project fit in.

Miro has had a large impact on our organizations ability to quickly and effectively copllaborate on new projects as many of our projects require global support from our teams areound the world. The team is able to update content at any time and provide their commentary on issues they need help with.

We receive an unlimited number of boards in a single workspace with the Starter plan, along with a ton of other helpful features like version history, polling and video chat tools for collaboration, and more control over who can view and share your work.
This facilitates team collaboration and also saves time by eliminating unnecessary calls & meetings.

Our company does a combination of on-site and online work days. Miro has been extremely useful when some team members are not on-site as we can still collaborate virtually. This is particularly helpful for new projects; they get off the ground faster without having to schedule an on-site working day that suits the entire team! The talk track feature has also been useful to us when members of our team have not been able to attend meetings, allowing them to still voice their opinions on the project.

Some things just cannot be written. They need to be represented visually. Miro has given us the ability to do that in a really effective way. My favorite part is that I don't have to share my screen or write what other people are saying. We can all be on the same page with the same view, contributing live.
