The Bulk Upload Changed My Repurposing Content Game.
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I use Socialpilot to keep my social sharing on auto-pilot. I rarely have the opportunity to sign into Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google My Business, or Facebook anymore, so it's nice to know I still have content being shared daily there. I'm more active on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram nowadays, so I don't feel like I'm entirely abandoning my other channels, even with the lack of time.
Pros
- Bulk Uploading - this is the #1 reason I'm still with Socialpilot! Having a CSV file upload makes it much easier!
- Images are automatically included - with many bulk uploads you'd have to upload your own images rather than it being pulled directly from the link. This is a game-changer!
- Platforms - many are included!
- Price - some are simply too expensive nowadays but SocialPilot is still one of the best competitors when it comes to price.
Cons
- While I love Bulk Uploading, it still takes me quite a bit of time each month to add new blog posts and YouTube videos to my CSV file before I bulk upload, I'd love to see SocialPilot come up with a way to automatically scan your websites and social channels and automatically generate an updated CSV file for you - where you can then remove/edit whatever you need to in the CSV file before scheduling.
- While many social platforms can connect to SocialPilot, I don't connect my YouTube or Instagram because I feel like I don't have enough control here. It would be great if the AI pilot could take more tasks of content creators' hands by not only offering AI text creation but automatically saving posts into a CSV-like file or allowing that particular text and link to be shared every 2 months, for example. Simply put, I'd like to cut out the updating of my CSV file and re-upload it. For example, AI tools like Repurose.io repurpose my Instagram Reels into TikTok videos and YouTube shorts automatically upon publishing, so since I've started on the platform, I've never again had to log in.
Return on Investment
- Time Saver - As mentioned earlier, I don't need to log into more than half of my social accounts because I know SocialPilot will use my bulk upload CSV file to keep them active. (it would be great to find a way to interact with comments and likes using AI, too).
- Keeps me organized - I'm not the best at remembering to re-purpose old content, so SocialPilot's bulk upload allows me to use the same CSV file, which I constantly update with new blogs and YouTube videos to ensure I'm repurposing even the older posts from years ago.
