We use Khoros Marketing for our organic social media channels, specifically for scheduling and care management. Personally, I used Khoros Marketing to build an editorial calendar and schedule out posts for the month.
  • The calendar view makes it easy to see all upcoming posts.
  • Khoros Marketing makes it easy to draft a new post on mobile.
  • Khoros Marketing lets you filter out posts to only see accounts relevant to you and organic posts, not care responses.
  • I wish it could be easier to differentiate between platforms when posting, like adding links for FB and not for IG.
  • Khoros Marketing limits the amount of content I can directly publish to Instagram.
  • I’d like to see the amount of posts that fail to publish be reduced. It’s frustrating to have to check social on the weekends to make sure a post I scheduled actually went live.
I would recommend this to people looking for a easy to use interface when it comes to scheduling posts.

We use Khoros for Social media management in our organisation. The solution provides for our digital marketing team a common platform where they can schedule our planned social media campaigns and replan new campaigns based on deep analysis report given by this tool.
  • Files and folders management- Its simple to organize our posts in folders so that their relocation becomes easier.
  • Scheduling campaigns- The calendar that keep track of upcoming campaigns.
  • Security- The tool pays close attention to access management.
  • would like to see more social media applications.
  • user training support
The best it could be used for is running campaigns. Be it a product launch or be it any new event that you are hosting. If you need to quickly grab attention, then this might be your choice. Also the report given after the campaign is a good insight for improving your next campaign.

Social Media posting for around 160 channels. Khoros helps us with scheduling content, managing multiple accounts from one place, handling crises, and gathering analytics for a better decision making. The most useful feature is the possibility to get analytics that help our communication manager to take informed decisions based on relevant KPI.
  • Posting/scheduling

  • Add more functionalities/platforms
Well suited for teams that have multiple accounts to manage for the same brand. Less suited for teams that have one or two accounts to manage and lack familiarity with social media tools (they are difficult to turn into heavy users). Another limitation is for teams located in Asia, as many platforms from that region are not covered by Khoros.

I use Khoros Marketing to schedule planned social media content and track performance results. Khoros Marketing is effective for my brand's scheduling process because I'm able to schedule on multiple channels simultaneously, create shortened links within the platform, and successfully set each post live without manual posting. We use this tool on a weekly basis (11+ posts per week). Something I'd like for Khoros to add is shoppable product tagging during the scheduling process, though.

While the analytics tool is something we use, as well, I don't use it as often. It's very helpful to have performance results available within Khoros Marketing, but it's a bit difficult to use this tool properly. I've noticed that our Khoros analytics hub has not been pulling in accurate information, and I wish that more measurement opportunities were available in the platform (specific follower count growth, individual post breakdowns, etc.). Setup is confusing and performance hubs are limited. However, the Khoros Support team is very helpful and I know I can speak with someone to help me.
  • Easy Scheduling
  • Providing helpful resource information on Atlas
  • The integration of multiple organizations under one account / easy access
  • The analytics tool could be improved to provide more accurate / easily accessible performance updates
  • Shoppable product tagging within the scheduling tool
  • Account integration. My organization has multiple brands under one account and we consistently have to re-connect each social account in the platform. We do not share these social accounts, so it's stressful to coordinate and communicate when these integrations are needed to each individual person.
While Khoros is a great platform for social content scheduling, there's definitely room for improvement within the platform. Scheduling within the platform has remained successful for my company due to the multiple-channel scheduling feature, shortened link tool and automatic posting, but this is primarily what we use Khoros Marketing for.

The analytics tool is difficult to understand, and there are functionalities that I wish were present. I think the performance measurements provided within the analytics tool could be adjusted to better suite the needs of a social media program (specific follower count information, individual post breakdowns, etc.). I also think the account integration functionality could be improved to support multi-brand organizations like mine.

We use Khoros Marketing for just about everything social media related. We collect content through Khoros' Capture app then distribute it to various platforms using Khoros Marketing.
  • Schedules content
  • Organizes content internally
  • Posts content to social media platforms
  • When I go to add more content to a post in progress from the Khoros content center, it does not show me the content in order by date. Instead, it's scattered so I have to hunt for it through the folder that it's in.
  • Sometimes I get an email telling me that a post failed. I'm not sure why this happens. I then go back in and do the post the exact same and it goes through.
Overall, it is a great platform for organizing content if you have content coming in from multiple places. It is also just about as good as social media platforms will allow it to be in regard to scheduling and posting content.

I use it to plan content on social media and monitor the reactions on our posts.
  • Display of the platform channels (inbox)
  • Reactivity of the tool
  • Many platforms supported
  • Planification of the posts
  • In the inbox part when sorting comments we should have an option not to see the comment on the platform anymore (the box of the comment should disappear to go on another folder)
  • When clicking on the comment we should directly arrive on the platform
When we are several people to work on a same professional social media account, it's very convenient especially if we work with external people so we don't have to share access and passwords of the account.

It is a good product; some of the specs are really great. Plus, the client support is brilliant- for any issues we have, the team customizes as per our needs and resolves them quickly. The reporting dashboards are really nice, and so is the editorial calendar. The CX dashboard is easy to use and overall it's smooth and a great tool.
  • Editorial Calendar.
  • Marketing dashboard- reporting.
  • CX
  • Unable to delete posts once published.
  • Unable to edit posts once published.
  • Carousel-type posts are unable to upload via Khoros.
Very easy to view the posts in a list/calendar based on a selection of filters. Very easy to find posts based on filters. Publishing is easy, and so is finding data. Editing or deleting after publishing is something the team of Khoros Engineering is working on, and we are looking forward to the update.

We use Khoros as our social media dashboard to schedule, post, and monitor our social channels as well as do reporting on a continual basis.
  • Reporting and Analytics are extremely easy to pull
  • Listening and responding with multiple users
  • Scheduling and organizing your content with tags
  • Competitive listening / intelligence tool is not intuitive
  • Have trouble with pulling some paid campaigns into analytics
  • Can get different answers from the support team when trying to resolve issues
We find Khoros marketing to handle all of the day to day needs of our social media team and makes it easy for us to do reporting and analytics in a quick and easy way. It creates an omnichannel look at your social media efforts with capabilities to drill down to specific campaigns or channels.

We use it for scheduling social posts, monitoring our incoming social messages, and reporting and analytics. It makes it easy for us to use this across different business units as well as manage these business units and the type of content we are putting out. We do a lot of social monitoring, and the inbox feature helps us mitigate risks and respond in a timely manner.
  • Ease of use.
  • Reporting.
  • Connecting us with support teams.
  • Social listening.
  • Better account managers.
It's great for a company as big as IQVIA, which is a very complex org with tons of business units. I love that we have everything in one place, and our marketers, regardless of location or expertise, also find the platform easy to use on a daily basis.

I use Khoros Marketing every day to produce proactive content for a global entertainment and technology brand. I use Analytics to escalate key performance indicators into senior levels of the business, and I use Care to inform 25% of my proactive content.
  • Produces simple proactive content.
  • Pulls in basic social media metrics.
  • You can't create polls, retweets, quote tweets, threads, or comments.
  • You can't get valuable, intelligent insights through Analytics.
  • You can't use Care to evaluate volumetric demand as the widgets available are minimal and basic.
If you're after a platform that allows you to produce simple, basic proactive content, Khoros Marketing will work fine. It can do most things, aside from the things that make social media interesting (polls, threads, retweets, quote tweets, etc). Analytics is restricted by API limits, and sometimes doesn't pull in the correct numbers; it also lacks intelligent widgets, so you can't find out what keywords, phrases, hashtags, or emojis are most used by your audience. That is all manual.

We use Khoros Marketing to schedule and publish our organic content. In addition, our paid posts are ingested into Khoros so we have a holistic view of all social posts. We have rules and tags setup to help us maintain meta data for reporting. We also manually tag posts.
  • easy of use
  • pulling in paid content from native channels
  • manual and auto tagging
  • Reporting - sometimes we have issue with pulling in paid media posts
  • Customer Service - Issues that really impact us that we need quickly fixed can take longer than desired
  • They removed the intelligence feature with little notice
  • Reporting - The dashboards are great but needs updating so drop and drag and formatting is easier.
Khoros is good for overall management of social media channel and content.

We use Khoros to upload LinkedIn posts and it is a daily excercise. We use the calendar to plan the timings of our mailings. We also have several approvers in the USA who approve before we launch. We upload video and imagery and produce both business and internal/employee posts.
  • Timing of posts
  • Easy logon
  • Nice visuals
  • Really difficult to add a header
  • Dont like how I have to link to an image file rather than posting it.
  • Hard to alter the next
As a new user - I think it is not very intuitive and training was required twice. In my opinion, the system could be a lot easier to use and I have found it very difficult. Getting use to it now but you really need to make adding headers and images easier. The approval process is also slow but I think this is more of an internal issue.

I use Khoros to create and schedule posts for my client. This makes it easy for the client to see what we are putting out on all our platforms, and approve them before they are put live. I use Khoros everyday, and it makes my life very easy as I can schedule so far in advance.
  • The approval flow
  • Giving recommended times for certain posts/platforms
  • Showing what the post will look like on each platform
  • I wish I could schedule linkedin articles or instagram stories on Khoros
  • I wish Khoros had an easier search function
  • I wish Khoros had more accurate results
When we have a last minute post that needs to go out, Khoros is quick and easy and can get a post live in seconds. However, if you need to post a LinkedIn article and then want to link to it on other channels, you have to post the article natively first before scheduling it in on other channels.

I work at a policy institute housed within a university, and I am the only person tasked with all communications responsibilities for the institute, but still have to follow university marketing guidelines and fit within university goals and objectives. Khoros makes that easier. It allows the social media team to monitor the institute while also enabling them to boost our posts and otherwise support our message.

Before I used Khoros, I didn't have experience with automated social media management, and I hated manually calendaring things, individually posting on different platforms, and sending screenshots or post information to my director for approval every time. Khoros automates those processes, and it lets me store content for posts that can't be scheduled (such as stories). Also, I can see and interact with engagements directly through the system, so I don't have to obsessively check our accounts.

I also use Khoros to get specialized data on all of our social media channels. You can customize your data in dashboards to pull only what you want, such as a certain project, best times for posting, etc., and you can turn those into templates for similar searches or to share within a team.
  • Simplifying the posting process
  • Organizing post types
  • Gathering data
  • Simplifying collaboration
  • Need a calendar where you can list recurring items, special days, and events to help with weekly planning BEFORE you make the posts.
  • side dashboard to access items (see clicklist or asana for examples)
  • simplify adding new users and accounts
Khoros is well-suited to anyone in a large company to do their social media marketing, but isn't suited as well to individuals or small groups, who could probably benefit more from a smaller scale manager.

We use Khoros to schedule, organize and analyze social media content across our three global channels: LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Our user pool is moderated, with around ten active users and ten additional occasional users. We leverage the platform to centralize all social media content and metrics, facilitating day-to-day operations. We currently are in the scale-up part of our Khoros journey where we are working at implementing workflows around and in the platform to strengthen our social media strategy and governance.

The limitations that we face are around social platforms APIs restrictions which impact our ability to use Khoros to it's full potential, resulting in a lot of manual work to tag and re-tag content to ensure performance is tracked within Khoros. As well as some issues with the approval rules, which result in blocking content from being published. Gaps on the analytics side also prove to reduce the relevance of the tool, mostly for reporting on Instagram content performance.
  • Ease of use
  • Onboarding program and customer support
  • Rapid deployment
  • Look and feel of the interface could use a refresh as it's not very exciting to use
  • Improve analytics features and accuracy
  • Facilitate bulk actions
  • Better alerts/visibility of collaborative actions and assigned tasks
  • Clearer communication around new feature releases and announcements
Khoros is a great platform overall that is easy to use and not overloaded with features that get in the way of the user experience, unlike some of its competitors. Features and customizations are pretty easy to implement and get around, even after the enablement phase with the Khoros teams. Customers is amazing and incredibly effective.
There are some areas when I would want them to improve, such as the overall look and feel of the platform, to provide more fluidity and modernize it overall. The Analytics technology seems to be a bit behind current standards and the dashboards are still pretty simple with limited dive into the data. In-platform collaboration could be improved and made easier, I tend to get lost or have to search for tasks that have been assigned to me, and fail to find them easily, which causes a bunch of issues for the content to be published.

Khoros Marketing is currently our social media management tool used for publishing content, monitoring our social media channels and engaging with our social media audience. The tool is relatively easy to use and has solid funcionality and features. I think there could be more custom client onboarding and training for the tool but it has been reliable for us in recent years.
  • Easy to adopt
  • I like that you can save pre-approved responses to the library
  • You can customize queues to route items to specific team members
  • The customer success team is not as connected as they once were.
  • Training is limited, you don't feel you're getting a white glove service.
  • They seem later to the game in adopting new API features.
Khoros marketing has suited our orginizations needs. We have a modest size team w/out major customization needs. Khoros has allowed us to remain compliant and keep us organized when it comes to publishing and providing excellent community management.

I use Khoros Marketing to advertize Recreational Vehicles, retail products, and events for our Camping World Location on Facebook. This product allows me to promote products to a large audience and this product enables it to be shared by other users.
  • Helps with creating a schedule for social media content
  • Enables colleagues to see each others posts and enables others to use these posts
  • Gives users suggestions of the time of day to release content
  • Enable using both videos and pictures in a post
  • More options for type of posts one can make on Facebook

I primarily use Khoros Marketing to schedule, post, and respond to messages on social media platforms. I occasionally use it to gather account data and measure success.
  • Schedule Social Posts on various platforms with ease
  • Easy display comments and responses to our social posts
  • Understand when there are errors/issues with social posts that need to be amended
  • Sometimes Khoros follows outdated rules/limits on social posts
  • Reporting could be more comprehensive
I find that Khoros Marketing is particularly useful for day to day social management. It allows me to easily schedule, post, and track social posts across multiple platforms - Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, even with multiple accounts on each platform.

It would be useful to see Khoros more quickly adapt to the social scene as it evolves rapidly - more platforms, staying abreast of updates, and more.

We use it for our social media channels. We use to gauge analytics, do market research and schedule and create social media posts.
  • Its post scheduling is great. It is easy to navigate and create, tag, and schedule social posts.
  • It's easy to use Talkwalker for market research and to see trending topics
  • Its analytics function is great as well. It's easy to see how all of our social posts are performing across multiple channels in one integrated platform.
  • It can access more features of twitter (creating twitter cards, carousels, etc.)
It's well suited for scheduling posts, checking performance of posts and doing market research via Talkwalker. It cannot be used to post twitter cards or carousels - we have to do them natively on platform.

We use Khoros Marketing as our hub to pull quick & informative insights of our various brands as well as schedule & publishing content. The problems we would've normally faced without such a user-friendly & effective platform such as Khoros would've been to schedule, publish, and gather data per post, per brand & since posts almost every day for all 4 brands, that might've catered to us having to employ 4 individuals instead of one handsome gentle. The scope of the use case is only for organic social from my perspective even though Khoros has paid social capabilities.
  • Labels & its power to pull data for specific needs such as organic versus paid, or detail specific such as in studio content performance versus UGC...etc.
  • The ticket support team is on top of things. One issue arises & they are on top of it within a few hours with guidance & support.
  • For businesses that manage multiple channels & multiple brands, this is a top notch tool & can't wait to see what Ai will enhance of this already very powerful tool.
  • Ability to copy & paste labels since some posts are auto imported like Pinterest videos.
  • We need to open up the API limitations, for example Talkwalker has gender insights to twitter but Khoros does not.
  • Khoros should have their own insights for social media benchmarks per industry per social media following size.
I just did that in the last question.

We use Khoros for social media moderation of our accounts across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The columns allow us to filter based on level of risk to prioritise our moderation since we get a very large volume of social media comments (i.e. our Facebook page has over 4.5 million followers).
  • Provides columns to sort social media comments
  • Columns are customisable
  • Dismissing comments is quick and easy
  • Filters don't always work
  • The hide comment feature can be buggy and sometimes randomly stops working
  • Manually refreshing columns is tricky to deal with high volume accounts
It is good for getting comments across multiple social media platforms into one feed that can then be sorted into columns. However, it can be trickier for monitoring comments on live Facebook videos and doesn't seem to be fast enough.

I use Khoros for my company's daily social media posts. This has helped in planning the posts ahead of time, and also gives us a clear idea of the topics that will be covered in a particular month. The labeling option also aids the team in ensuring we cover a wide variety of topics that are all relevant to the business needs.
  • Social media calendar
  • cross-channel pollination
  • The analytics dashboards are not very user friendly
  • the labeling option is a bit confusing and tedious
  • it is really helpful with planning social media posts ahead of time
  • it helps the team have a clear plan for their social channels
  • in a huge organization that has multiple pages/channels, it is helpful because you have access to all pages

We mainly use Khoros for scheduling social posts and for reporting analytics on ad sales. It has a relatively simple user interface, and I was able to pick it up quickly. We schedule upwards of 100+ posts per day from many different accounts on many different platforms, but Khoros rarely has any issue with this. The only issue I've run into is Khoros clashing with our VPN service we use when in office, but even then it's a simple fix.
  • Simple to use
  • Easy to organize various posts
  • In depth analytics for reporting
  • When we had day light savings, certain menus didn't automatically update causing posts to go out an hour early or late
Any company with a large social presence across multiple platforms and accounts that would need to schedule posts and wants an easy to view dashboard of all posts. Additionally it provides analytics that can help you determine what to post more of, and what types of content to steer clear of in the future.
