Great for Everything!
We use Submittable across the company. We use it for our annual awards programs, nominations, education abstract collection, scholarship application, committee volunteer application, and our Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards that also requires an entrance fee.
- Easy to use & create multiple forms (including duplication!)
- Exporting & sharing submission information
- Judging of awards/entries
- Copying form parts, entire forms can be duplicated, but it would be great to be able to copy sections of the form when questions or answers are similar
- Duplicating Forms
- Accepting an unlimited amount of forms
- Adding different judges to the team
- Taking payment
- Happy Users & Staff!
- Less time spent creating forms = more time for other projects
We looked at a couple others, but it was obvious Submittable was the leader.

Submittable is sleek and sensible!
We use Submittable for applications for all of our artistic programs - including residencies, fellowships and grants. It is used just by the artistic department, but that is the main thrust of our nonprofit. It helps us streamline the application process immensely, from submission through a multi-round review process.
- Sorting and labeling applications - makes searching for and grouping applications easy
- Building dynamic forms that allow for different streams based on the applicant
- Excellent customer service
- Website always runs a bit slow - could use some more server space I would imagine

Submittable is a great choice for grant management!
We utilize Submittable to manage applications for grants and distributions for our foundations.
- The sales team did a great job presenting Submittable to us and the stakeholders. They were very clear on which of the requirements they met and didn't meet--unlike other sales teams that promise you their system does everything only to find out it doesn't.
- Implementation--The team that helped us was amazing. They had a great approach and keep us on track. They also helped us with the specifics of our grants that other companies couldn't--specifically the import of historical data that we required.
- Support--So far, support after the sale has been great. We have contacted our account rep, and he has been able to address any questions we might have or provide a resource that can.
- So far, the only thing I can think of is that personalization of the main page is minimal.
- I wish the email generated by the system could have our email address.
