Excellent tool, agile and easy
- Fortunately, we did not have this type of event, but we are moving forward with immutability for the backup protection. This will provide us with security when it comes to recovering backups.

Better solutions may be available!
- This allowed us to get cloud backups up and running without too much hassle as we are an existing user of their on-premise suite. It was a time saver.
- You are not bound to use the cloud storage of either your CSP or Veeam which allowed us to shop around for cheaper storage outside of Azure, cutting cost.
- It has made out licensing more complicated particularly as they have restructured this in recent years.

- VM backup recovery for entire VM and disk level is too fast than expected and able to bring back the corrupted VM to live without affecting the SLA
- Backup Tiering to archive tier saved much cost
- One of the backup solutions malfunctioned and occupied more space in the cloud, which put a huge amount of money on the bill, but Veeam is tightly coupled and integrated with Azure, so there won't be any space for such incidents.

Fantastic Veeam Product
- This has prevented longer outages due to installing updates that have broken server functionality. Instead of rolling back updates and hoping for the best, you can immediately restore from your backup and resolve the issue quicker.
- Cost savings due to only needing two connectors but can store data anywhere you choose with Azure locations.
- Definitely resource saving instead of taking manual backup of infrastructure and databased to move them offsite via external hard drives or tape.
- Cost varies based on type of backup, but is reasonable for small-medium businesses (per machine)
- Appears to support multiple Veeam servers
- Scheduled jobs can be handled by the installed client
